I'm gonna take a shot in the dark here and say I've got probably the biggest navy on Amplector, unless Fangalia has a bigger one. I'm only basing it off how much coast line we have and how we're more open to the Imogen ocean than other's on Amplector. 1. The "Die Germanische Allianz" shall uphold the ideas of capitalism, federalism, opposition to communism, and a tolerance of any religion held by members of our nations,

2. To create a parliment between all member nations, which shall rotate it's homage to the capitol city of each nation, changing every 6 months, in the order of which a nation joined,

3. To promote the understanding and appreciation of the Germanic culture, from which each sect can give and contribute,

Hereby creates the "Die Germanische Allianz" with the following that any nation of Germanic cultural heritage and which stands by our ideals, may join.

Although, this is what I could come up with of the top of my head, I feel like it needs more and that things could be added to it and improved. Any suggestions?

What about Inoroth? We have lots o germans, and all of the other points of the Charter are very important to Inoroth.

Seeing as Inoroth fits into every other category, sure why not. Just make sure all the signage at the annual parliment is in German (and/or other Germanic languages) and not in Italian.

Correction: "Die" is German for "The," so by saying "The 'Die Germanische Allianz,'" you're saying "The The Germanic Alliance." Also, Fanaglia is in kind of the same boat as Inoroth -- Fanaglia's primary heritage is not Germanic by any means, but there is a large minority of Germanic peoples and even large German-speaking communities. It really seems to me that the Germanic part of it is fairly irrelevant to your other goals, honestly, because those goals are shared by Inoroth, Fanaglia, and probably others as well. My suggestion is to either narrow your focus to make it more "German-focused," or just go for an alliance based on the defense of general ideas regardless of heritage.

Also, you asked that the signage be in a "Germanic Language." Would this include English? A lot of people don't realize that it's actually a Germanic language -- it's just been chewed on and spit back out, Grecofied and Latinofied over the millenia.

Voerde Doesn't count as much eastern since he's practically having the rail conference with them. Unless something goes wrong...

Voerdeland is gone, actually. In the next map update, I'll be re-labeling him as the "Former Voerdish Free State," abbreviated as "Fmr. V.F.S." I'll also be adding Khamul to the map, just south of Inesea. The only reason I haven't posted that update yet is because I'll likely be removing Taltaria, as well, but I'm giving him a few days to respond before bulldozing him off the map. He's got until Wednesday.

Fanaglia, if it is not already, would you please add German to my nation's defacto languages?

Actually, that's the Inorothan proposition, which was rejected shortly after it was proposed. There are three being voted on right now, but the Fanaglian Plan looks to be the victor by a large majority -- possibly even unanimously. The map is below. If Vitz doesn't like it, then maybe they should have sent an ambassador to represent their interests. Never mind the fact that they didn't exist in this world yet!

No worries, though. The way I see it, we've got two options. You can do the "buy-in" option Queen Autumn and King Vinchero suggested for the Promethian nations, or we could just pretend you've been included in the negotiations all along. Whaddya say?

I say that I have a large air and naval force because I'm an island, and it would make quite a lot of sense for my air and naval units to see more development, leaving the ground force out in the cold.

You haven't seen my navy... I guess I never put it up, but now's a good time.

I know you like to think you have the biggest and nicest navy and such but you can't just claim it OOCly... You have to make us believe it ICly, just because you have nice images doesn't make it any better than anyone elses. I mean, I probably won't challenge anyone to a headsup naval battle, I'll likely just do hit and runs on your fleets with fast battlecruisers. That's a tactic I'll use.

If you're saying 'I haz the bigest navy!1' then fine, but if you have tons and tons of ships you're gonna have to have an army that's more poorly equipped than others. And considering you're always on about the colonisation of land areas I don't understand how you're to do that. Added to that, you're also a very small nation in comparison to others which means less finances etc.

If you don't take the disadvantages you don't want with the advantages you oh so clearly want then we'll all just laugh at you and fire the IGNORE cannon. (Not to mention, your excuse of 'I'm an island nation' is only half effective as so is NuSheba. Fanaglia and Desaltona probably (no doubt) have a bigger coastlines than you and I'd suggest that maybe even Vitz does.

Also a nation would need a lot of resources to create and upkeep a large navy, which would be hard for a nation of only islands.

@People of the (not so)German Alliance - Just so I understand whether I can join the alliance or not, I want to make sure I understand Federalism. As I understand it, Federalism is a system of government very much like the RL USA, yes? It has a centralized, federal government (i.e. King-Premier-Prime Minister-President, Supreme Court(s), Senate-Parliament-House of ______, etc...), as well as a system of weaker, decentralized governments (aka Governors, States, Provinces, Lower Courts, Lesser Senates-Parliments-Houses, etc..).

If this is the definition, then I still qualify. Inoroth had a similar incident as the one that spurred the English Magna Carta in our history, and alot of power that once was soley the Monarch's is now divided all over the place. The system is very inefficient and has overlaps of power, similar to the checks-and-balences idea in the USA, so that in peace time very little can be done, and the people are freer as a result. During War, however, one Element of Government (Usually the King if he is strong, the Legislature if he is not) Takes emergency powers and is able to get things done rapidly. I guess this would be similar to the powers Abe Lincoln had in the US Civil War... or the Emergency Powers Palipetine used to become Emperor... could be a problem, I guess, but so far we have been lucky.

@People talking about Sri - He would indeed have trouble maintaining a massive army/navy as a small island... unless he maintained an empire with a continuous pouring in of resources from rich colonies... like the British Empire. If we let him do that, he could have a military as feared as that of the British Empire - Although, we All seem to want to claim armies as formidable as the WWII Germans and Navies that would blast the Brits to the dark ages... I think I am going to reduce the size of my peacetime navy, so I don't look (too much) like a power-hungry jerk who cares nothing for realism.

@Conscentia- I feel like Vapor at last has a true, bonified Grammer/Realism/Legalistic Nazi. You complain worse than my IC Character Calini does, dude. Lighten up! (And I don't mean the Joker, fire and gasoline type either )
