"When on the offensive, the Federation does not resort to dishing out overwhelming attacks like many nations, rather, they bypass enemy strong points and launch deep into the enemies rear, cutting supply lines and logistics, destroying headquarters and support units, leaving enemies to 'wither on the vine'."
We also follow the defensive maxim of Sun Tzu, which states, "He who tries to defend everything defends nothing." Our small garrisons aren't meant to attack the enemy, but rather observe and report, information which we use to formulate a strike following the offensive rule.
That sounds like blitzkrieg. =p
It works damn well, though, since even if you take heavy casualties in the attack on their rear, the bulk of the forces won't be able to shoot or operate for long before breaking down.
True, it's a great tactic, creamed the French and Soviets in mere months, although it's important to point out its weaknesses.
