I think a group/region event sounds good.
Just a brief outline for now.
War game Outline:
Location: An unoccupied island in the region of Azkukali, east of Rodarion
Set-up: Participants (Cong./Azhu members only) would be split up into three teams, designated colors red, blue, and yellow respectively.
Each nation on each teams has a limit of 15,000 army personnel on field. (including logistics, medic, etc.)
The types of land vehicles are unrestricted (Tanks, personnel carriers, jeeps, etc), number of tanks on-field however are limited to 500. Naval vessels are limited to landing crafts, mini-subs, speed boats and one aircraft carrier. Aircrafts limited to helicopters and UAVs.
Equipment is unrestricted with the exception of field artillery.
The event is limited only to that island and 10 miles of its coast. Each team receives a "strategic point" prior to starting, to win the war game, each team must capture all of the enemy strategic points in order to win. Each strategic point would be fortified surrounded by a forest, 5 miles inland. Three main roads connects each point. One towards the center of the map towards a large urban city, and one towards each of the enemy base. There are many branching roads on these main roads that leads to the coast. To have capture a point, one must eliminate all personnel stationed there (varies depending on the team). Once a point is lost, the team that lost the point would be out of the war game and the team that took the point assumes command of the fortified location. Addition detail of terrain and infrastructure would be briefed later.

I'm afraid, as most of you are aware, I can't match Azura for eloquence when it comes to writing shiznits, so i'll give it my all. Over the past few years, this website and it's members have become a big part of my life. We've been through thick and thin together, and there's been good times and bad times. There's even been great times. And i'd be damned proud to call all of you my friends.
Unfortunately, I can no longer keep up with NS these days. I haven't RP'ed in months, and i'm also lacking drive. So rather than becoming someone who just posts in General and F7 because I lack that drive, i'm taking a leaf from Azura's book and taking a very long, perhaps even indefinate, vacation. Somewhere on a desert island with hula girls and cocktails, with any luck.. A shame, but that's the way things go I guess.
I don't think anyone ever "leaves" NationStates, and I sure don't intend to break my own theory. I'll be back. Just...not sure when. Until then, keep up the good work people, don't ever change, and i'll see you when I see you.~ Gaz "Ozy" Davies

This is recurring far too oft; perhaps it's somewhat of a fad these days? What I am referring to, of course, is leaves of absences. Yes, I am jumping on that ill-begotten bandwagon that will lead me away from the world of NationStates and hopefully on to pastures new (or at least some field-like construction).
This is the part where I talk about how great it was having you all as friends, how much I enjoyed the lexical battles by your side etc; I'm not going to, because I shouldn't have to. Those of you that I have had the esteemed privilege to befriend, you are all awesome, both in character and out of character, and I have had some truly enjoyable times both reading and responding to your writings. The banter on the IRC isn't half bad either.
So, the time has come, and real life denies me the time with which to roleplay. It has been an honour. I'll be back (at some point) and I might pop my head into the IRC rooms every once in a while. Dasvidaniya Comrades.
One more thing; Revealing ones name as a parting memento seems to be another fad, and who am I to rock the boat?
