Anyhow, after all the long wait, I've decided that perhaps it's time to let Storm Gard apply for a member within the Conglomerate. Properly, this time, of course.

Nation Name: The East Asian Union.
Leader: Supreme Commander William Yang, Prime Minister Alexander Hong.
Type of Government: An oligarchy that is led by a combine of one hundred and eight clans, who handle all civil and military aspects. These clans are further moderated by the Supreme Commander who oversees the military decisions and if needed overrules council decisions. The Prime Minister acts as the civilian counterpart to the Supreme Commander. A representative committee also exists to provide the populace a voice within the Grand Council.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: None.
Military Activities: No full-scale military activities are currently under way. Police actions within the Siak region have been ongoing for a total of eight years between government forces and the extremist cult known as the Brotherhood. A total of hundred and forty seven causalities has been sustained by EAU forces over the course of the operation.
Strata of Command: The Supreme Commander is effectively the overall commander of all EAU military assets however; he is largely restricted by the approval by the Grand Council and Founding Articles. Should the Supreme Commander be unable to perform his duties, the Prime Minister will be his direct successor until another candidate can be found from the High Families and is subsequently voted in.
Military Focus: East Asian Union Armed Forces doctrine stresses on the need for high mobility, deployment ability, assault ability for it’s all its branches coupled with overwhelming fire support, and battle networks, which functions as force multipliers for the smaller but arguably superior regular forces. The regulars are then supported by a conscript force that is far less flexible but is capable of delivering many times the firepower of the regular forces via force of arms and sheer manpower.

Should an invasion of the mainland ever occur the doctrines are reversed and the inflexible but large conscript force becomes the centre point of the nation’s defense forming a nigh impenetrable wall to bleed enemies on. The regulars are then relegated to a raiding force sent to strike out at exposed flanks of the opposition.

Economic Situation: Our economy (ranked by the WA as frightening) is top-notch. Capitalistic, with few restrictions, the Union aggressively pursues economic growth via generous subsidies and benefits. We pride ourselves on our economic development and advancement, which, in turn, contributes, to our high advanced Civil rights.
Currency Rate, per International Dollar: The Union Credit is valued at exactly 1.8148 USDs to one Credit
