NATO HQ, Brussels
*Kowalski watched as the ceremony started. Everything was now ready for what would be the largest military attack ever.*
Kowalski: "Alright, let's do it."

Austro-German border
*The order was given down from the Chancellor. Soon, the German military was crossing over the border and into Austria. Jet's flew over head and began bombarding Hungarian positions at the border. Once the defenses had been softened there, the German ground forces moved in. Thousands of tanks moved in and began to shell Hungarian positions. It was a scene not seen by the German Military since WWII.*

Southern Poland
*Polish forces also moved in on Hungarian occupied Poland. Performing the same attacks as the Germans. They recieved some help from the Prussians.*

German-Czech border
*Another part of the German army had begun their attack into the Czech Republic. They where being supported by Dutch, British, and Luxembourgish soldiers as well.*

Kiev, Ukraine
*With the order given, the NATO supplied rebels in Ukraine began their revolt. They began firing at buildings and attacking military and police outposts in the city.*

Istanbul
*Turkish jets began to bombard the city, preparing for an invasion of the city.*

Estonia
*Latvian and Lithuanian troops also began their assault into Hungarian dominated Estonia. The Lithuanian navy landed on the Estonian islands while ground forces invaded the Estonian mainland.*

Moscow, Russian Hungary.

As the Hymnusz concludes, the Emperor looks back up toward the effigy of Jesus Christ on the cross and says a thanks. He bows his head again, for the next part of the ceremony.

Moscow, Russian Hungary.

The Generals give Carolus the Roman Salute as the Archbishop of Budapest processes in with the Crown. The choir begins singing the Te Deum.

Nevermore

The Emperor smiles as he watches the screens depicting the attacks in North Argentina. The bombers tore apart most of the Rebel forces as the Mekhon moved in. He sips some wine as he switches to the European theatre. The NATO forces had a bit of momentum on their side, with the majority of the Hungarian Central Command in Moscow. They wouldn't even find out about the attack until they returned to Budapest.

Moscow, Russian Hungary.

As the crown is placed upon Carolus' head, he raises and returns salute to his Generals. As the choir echoes throughout the hall, Carolus leaves with his Generals filing in behind him. He needed to return to Budapest, in case something has happened.

(OOC: "Russian Hungary" sounds more like Russia has taken over Hungary. It should be Hungarian Russia.)

NATO HQ, Brussels
*Kowalski, Harkov, Corrigan, Vivian, Belyakov, and Bashir all watched the events going on in Europe. Their forces where making advances with their attack. They believed that such a large attack while the Hungarian's where distracted would lead to an easy victory.*
Corrigan: "Kowalski, I do believe we may just be one step closer to a checkmate."
Kowalski: "Yes sir."
Harkov: "Don't be so sure gentlemen."
Kowalski: "Mr. President, I highly doubt that they will be able to come back after such a massive attack."
Harkov: "You underestimate the Hungarians. They will force everyone in their Empire to join the army before they give up."

Somewhere in Ireland
*Jackson, Vermaak, Mikhail, and Kane got a message from Jay, it explained the NATO attack on the Hungarians. While Jackson, Vermaak, and Kane where celebrating, Mikhail sat back, not talking.*

Mikhail: "Yes, I just don't know how well this attack will go.."

Imperial Palace

The Emperor steps out onto a veranda, looking out towards the Capital. Construction of the Public Palace was already underway, one of the largest public work projects in the Empire. While Europe burned and Argentina at war, his Empire was probably the most peaceful place on earth.

Budapest, Hungary.

Carolus Victorus walks from the jet to the Biroladomi Vár. He immediately replaces the Royal Russian Crown with the Crown worn by the Hungarian Savior; Szent István. The Emperor navigates through the massive castle to the balcony over-looking the Capital City. He smiles seeing the microphone already set up and the Imperial Banners hanging from the sides. A crowd has gathered, awaiting to hear what their fearless leader has to say.

Imperial Palace

The Minister of the Media entered onto the Veranda.

"Your Imperial Majesty, His Majesty Carolus Victorus is about to address the people."

"Let him play the demagogue, Your Eminence. He is of little concern to us."

"Certainly, Your Majesty."

When the Minister retired, Lucius received a message from General von Kurtz informing him that the NATO attack was going rather well. Another message arrived from Cervantes, reporting that the Argentine Rebels were massacred in the aerial attack. Lucius returned inside and sat at his desk, deciding to read one of his Father's old books.

"A Game of Thrones. How fitting."

Buda Castle, Budapest.

"People of Hungary! I return to you as a conqueror! Our threat from the Slavic Kingdom has vanished and the people responsible have been and are being... Punished." He says with a very wide smile, purposely vague as he say all the Slavs were responsible. "It is our duty as Hungarians to bring order to this region! To this world! And it will be a triumph of the will to continue on!"

A general comes up from behind and whispers into Carolus' ear.

"And now our will shall triumph again! The forces of NATO have declared us a menace and are marching into Ausztria, Csehország and Szlovakia! Our men and women in arms shall fight valiantly and will succeed and securing the Hungarian people more glory! We will be marching to Berlin, Warsaw and we will burn Brussels to. The. Ground!"

Vienna, Hungarian Austria

Anthony, the Prince Tarkin, Imperial Ambassador to the Empire of Hungary, landed his jet in the capital city of Austria. The German NATO forces had been encroaching on the city and had recently captured the city of Melk. The Imperial Ambassador has explicit orders from the Hungarian Emperor to meet up with the Third Army and lead them against the NATO forces.

Now with the invasion being dealt with, Carolus turns his attention to other matters. Something that would entertain him. The commission of a trained Dress Guard for Budapest. A King's Army of sorts. He orders the Head of Reserve; General Fekes to start testing the Reserve troops with muskets. And get an army of the best with these weapons, as well as manufacture the tell-tale blue uniforms of the old Hungarian Guard of Austria-Hungary.

Vienna, Hungarian Austria

With 100,000 men at his disposal and the NATO forces marching towards Austria, Tarkin embarked on the only sensible strategy; strike NATO before they could strike him.

He ordered the 9th and 10th Corps to directly west, full speed ahead, and engaged the NATO troops halfway on the road to Vienna. Meanwhile, several dozen airships were sent out with the latest Hungarian fighter jets and bombers to derail the enemy advance. The 11th and 12th Corps would move south and hit the Germans at their behind or flank, depending on when the first group engaged them.

Battle of Melk

The 9th and 10th Corps opened up the bombardment. 30,000 of the best Hungarian tanks rode at full speed against the NATO forces as artillery ripped the defenders to shreds. The tanks were positioned like a giant revered "C", attempting to envelop the Germans. Ground infantry support the sides and bottom of the formation.

Prince Tarkin watched the battle from his command Behemoth, and he would soon be in the thick of the battle.

"The Germans are a worthy opponent. A shame I have to fight against them."

The 11th and 12th Corps continued their advanced around the NATO forces.

Battle of Melk
*The Germans seeing the enemy surrounding them ordered for the air strike. Just a few moments later, a squadron of the most advanced fighter jets in the world began attacking the enemy air defenses. Their speed and power made considerable gains in the air battle. Meanwhile some older jets began bombing the Hungarian ground forces. After that the German artillery began firing at the surrounding forces.*

Saaremaa Island, Estonia
*The NATO troops had taken this island. They had recieved a lot of help from the locals who had risen up to help free them from the Hungarians who had owned the island since the end of WWIII. Now with this island under there control they began to prepare for an invasion of Hiiumaa island while other NATO forces invaded mainland Estonia.*

NATO HQ, Brussels
*An American soldier entered the base. He stood behind President Corrigan and Kowalski. A guard got their attention. When the two turned around Corrigan smiled.*
Corrigan: "Ah, Captain Ivanov. How are you? I hope Hansen has treated you well after your trip to Moscow."
Ivanov: "Yes sir, however it wasn't deserved. My commanding officer died when I could have saved him."
Corrigan: "Hmm, you're a lot like your father, caring for his comrades like that. While it is unfortunate you lost your friend we just have to accept it."
Ivanov: "Yes sir."
Corrigan: "Well Captain, I hope you are well rested because soon you're going to be deployed to the front lines."
Ivanov: "Sir?"
Corrigan: "Yes. You will be leading a group of Americans in the Czech Republic. Your squad will also be working with German, British, Dutch, and Luxembourgish troops. You will be given your assignment soon and sent out in a week I should think."
Ivanov: "Understood sir."
Corrigan: "Good. Now lets have James there show you to your room."
*The guard came up to Ivanov and lead him away.*
Corrigan: "...I seriously hope you're like your father...we really need someone like that right now."

Battle of Melk

Despite the bombardment of the German bombers and artillery, Tarkin continued to push his men against the NATO troops, in the belief that they wouldn't be able to bomb him if he was on on top of them.

Meanwhile, the 11th and 12th Corps were in position to make their attack on the German South Flank, opening in with an artillery strike before a full tank advance, as more Hungarian jets arrived to divert the German planes.
