Buenos Aires, Argentina
*The Mekhon where proving very effective. The Argentinian army was no match for the more powerful Mekhon. However, the Argentinians began going to other forms of fighting, Guerrila warfare. Meanwhile a squadron of troops stayed at the Presidential palace to keep Rojas safe.*

Mar del Plata
*Here, Argentinian troops where less numerous then in the capital. It was mostly rebels and civilians who would be fighting here.*

Falkland Islands, FEA
*With the turmoil going on in Argentina, two East American naval ships where deployed to protect the islands from a spillover conflict.*

Buenos Aires, Argentina

Cervantes hd to give the rebels credit. The battle for the city had been going on for several hours now, and despite suffering massive losses, the Rebels continued to hold out against the Imperials.

The nerve gas was effective in preventing Rebel reinforcements from entering the city, and also served to prevent Rebels from leaving as well. By now, the majority of the Rebels surrounded the Presidential Palace, creating a tough perimeter. Cervantes had orders to bring their leader in alive, so an air attack was out of the question. So he personally led his Mekhon and his 12 Royal Guards into battle.

Carolus watches as jets and tanks shatter concrete and accelerate the blaze. He turns to Commander Kereshtur and says, "Leave only The Fortress." And nothing more.

Buenos Aires, Argentina
*At the Presidential Palace, the Imperials where met by Rojas' best men, the National Guards of the Revolution. These where Rojas' most trained and well prepared men, they where ready to die for their leader. They began firing at the invading forces, they fired RPG's at the Mekhon, trying to destroy them. Around the palace, unknown to the Imperials, where mines set up by the Guards.*

Moscow, Russia
*The remainder of the Russian forces tried bravely to save their capital, but it was apparent they would fail. The moral of the soldiers was very low by this time. Meanwhile some citizens also rose up and tried to fight as well. Citizens also began setting fire to the buildings in the city.*

Berlin, Germany
*The men had made it safely to Berlin. They got out of the car.*
Bashir: "We'll I'm going to be leaving for Brussels. I've got a friend here in Germany who can help you get a plane ticket to London, however he's going to have to create new identities for you, and that might take a few days considering there are several of you. I'll give you his address and that's it." *He pulled out a piece of paper and wrote down the address.* "Here you go. Well, I wish you all the best of luck."
Jackson: "Thank you Bashir."
Bashir: "And Jackson, do try to stay out of trouble. You've got government property, a Russian National, a British Agent working in secret, a man wanted throughout occupied Europe, and you're wanted by NATO...don't do anything stupid now."
*and with that, he got back in the car and drove off.*

Washington DC, FEA
*President Corrigan and his staff where watching two screens, one in Buenos Aires and another in Moscow. Suddenly, his secretary came in with a piece of paper. She gave it to the President who read it over. He took a deep breath and turned to Hansen.*
Corrigan: "Mr. Hansen, I've just been given orders from someone in a position above me. I want you to organize a covert CIA operation. I need you to organize a team quickly to get to Moscow and help evacuate civilians from the city."
Hansen: "Sir?"
Corrigan: "You heard me. Go do your job, now!"
Hansen: "Yes sir." *He saluted the President and left."
Basil: "...sir? Who is above the President when giving orders?"
Corrigan: "Classified."

Buenos Aires, Argentina

The Palace was surrounded by the Imperial forces as Cervantes and his 12 Mekhon Royal Guard opened up the attack. Per Imperial attack plan, two squads of Infantry were sent in the evaluate the National Guards' strength before the Mekhon would attack

Mar del Plata

The battle for Mar del Plata was nearly finished as Imperial infantry raised the Flag over the City Hall

Moscow, Russia

Prince Tarkin's jet landed just outside of the city, where the battle was taking place. He and his 12 men would go on foot, fighting as standard Infantry and wearing Hungarian uniforms. The majority of the combat was located at the Kremlin.

*The NGR's continued to fires rockets and grenades at the Mekhon. Meanwhile the mines began exploding once the Mekhons stepped on them.*

Undisclosed location, presumably Argentina
*Rojas and the other man from the execution watched the events going on in Argentina.*
Man: "It's all going according to plan."
Rojas: "But they're destroying us! We'll be next!"
Man: "They won't find us."
Rojas: "Easy for you to say, you where able to slip off the map and you can still do that."
Man: "Of course. Now I must be off, I have another client I must see. I'm sure you'll be fine"
Rojas: "You best be right."

Moscow, Russia
*A while later, with the battle still raging on, a group of CIA agents parachuted down from a high altitude plane. They where using camo suits and the wings that Vermaak had used in his escape. They flew down into the city below. Once they landed they met up with each other and discussed the plan.*
Agent: "Alright, Team B you go and find survivors in the apartment buildings in sectors 5-7. Team C you check sectors 1-4. Team A, you're with me. We have to go rescue American and Russian officials trapped in the city. We will then meet up at Moscow International. If we run into trouble we have support from the sky. Remember to be careful not to be seen, we don't want to start war with the Hungarians just yet. Move out!"
*The men nodded and all three teams moved in their seperate ways.*

The Mekhon to Cervantes' left explodes before the pilot could eject.

"He was a good Knight. His Family will be rewarded for his sacrifice."

He fires his rifle at the ground in front of him, exploding mines so he could get a clear path into the Palace. He and the rest of the Guard charge in.

Moscow, Russia

"Thank you, Your Majesty"

He switches the radio to the Division Commanders.

"Division I, you are to move North from Red Square and secure the Presidential Palace. Division II, move in from Troitskaya Bridge, and Division III, take the Grand Palace from your position. Do not under any circumstances harm the Kremlin. It must be as immaculate as the Virgin when he is crowned."

The city was devastated after only two hours of fighting. Reports from other commanders revealed that the coastal cities were in almost complete Imperial control, leaving the Rebels to retreat into the jungles.

*With the cities lost, the rebels fled into the Jungle. Here they would have the advantage, they knew the land better then the Imperials and it would be better suited for guerrilla warfare. Buenos Aires. 15 September 2059

General Cervantes sat in the President's office. The city was officially under Imperial control, and many loyal citizens have returned. All the major coastal cities have come under Imperial control, and the rebels were driven into the vast jungles of the nation. Moreover, the BPA threatened to invade from Uruguay and Chile, which would certainly give the Revels the advantage in the war, and with only three Imperial Armies Cervantes would not be able to hold the country and fight the Rojas.

The good news was that 2,000 French Foreign Legionnaires would be arriving soon, and General von Kurtz would arrive with two more Armies to aide in the occupation.

Cervantes was musing over the situation when his aide-de-camp arrived.

"Lord Cervantes, His Imperial Majesty has arrived."

He quickly jumped out of his chair.

"¿Qué? I was not informed of this!"

"It is of no concern, General. It is an impromptu visit."

The General quickly genuflected before Lucius.

"Your Imperial Majesty, forgive my rudeness."

"You are pardoned. I have come to assist in your occupation. You are still the commanding General of this campaign, Lord Cervantes, but I have a suggestion."

"Anything, Your Majesty."

"I have brought 50,000 of my Imperial Guardsmen, and my intelligence reports that a large amount of the Rebels have taken base at Rosario. Have them decimate them."

Rosario

The city of Rosario was one of the few major cities to be controlled by the Rebels; the Paraná River was a major source of supplies getting to the Rojas.

The Imperial bombers arrived as if out of nowhere, but strangely did not make an attack on the city. No, but the area around the city was being heavily bombed-everything several hundred kilometres away from the city was being destroyed.
