Greetings,

I would like to greet the League. I am not a member as of yet, but perhaps in the near future I may be. My nation has been thrust into an interesting position, sandwiched between two larger powers that be, and yet relying on a League nation for it's military protection. I sense many interesting endeavors and political manuevering on the horizon, and so I wished to make myself known.

Ah I see PoA recieved a new post. I shall have to read it soon. Also, I see you made your greeting BYD, that's good.

BYD is the nation that has Takhisis's mercenaries offering military protection within the Rhydin territories.

Hello, all.

It saddens me to do this, but I've decided to go on something of a hiatus.

I'll still be around and about, on TLIN IRC and on NS, but I won't be doing any RP posts for the time being. Due to pressures, primarily from work which many of you will have seen me bitching about, I basically have ceased finding writing fun. Posting feels like a chore and I know I've been stringing you all along for far, far too long with promises of posts which never appear.

It's not something I want to do, nor is it what I want to be known for.

I'm not sure going on a hiatus will solve anything, but it will relieve the nagging feeling I've been getting that I'm letting you lot down by not posting when I've promised I will. I know some of you will have guessed that I've not been particularly happy for a while by what I've let on in IRC, so I'm not sure how much of this will be a surprise.

This will mean I won't be posting in Xukuth's thread, which I must apologise for. I know a lot of effort was put into that, which I've repaid by dragging my heels and making excuses.

And this will undoubtedly also mean I won't be posting in PoA any more, which will be something I regret. I wanted to see what would happen to my numerous characters in that and I throughly enjoyed the air combat parts with Orycto. I feel I've been holding things up far too much by not posting, which is selfish and is preventing things from progressing as they should.

I'm deeply sorry.

Thats a shame mate, but you have to do what you have to do. Better to take a break from writing now; rather than push through and then slowly grow more and more frustrated at NS for eating up your time. I'm sure you'll be back

That's the problem - I'm not frustrated at NS for eating my time.

I'm frustrated at my work for crushing my pleasure in writing and therefore RPing.

It's the reverse to the usual quitting...

But this ain't the place to talk about this. There's a thread on the forum.

Salute Taggie.

I will be about more, despite working more. In any case some of the newer nations have kept on with the posting, and as such, I would like us to continue even though we have lost some of our friends alongst the way. There is hope one day they return, but for now we must continue on. Unfortuantely with Tag stepping out for a bit of a smoke break, that leaves the Tagmatika conference as sort of the boat that drifted from the harbor.

Perhaps we'll find a new one, and I am told that Renor Xukuth is interested. Perhaps a few of you will be inclined to accept an invitation to an event in that nation. I believe Batorys is already enroute or is there etc. This may be a good time to meet another senior nation outside of a conflict.

Concerning PoA, there are some nations keeping it alive via posting. I do apologize for my lack of involvement lately and shall attempt to get back on track. Conferring with our counter-parts of the UFA, this is shared by several of them as well.

For those who have had worries, fear not, we are not dead, it's just been a bit slow. However, we will continue forth, and do what must be done. With Tag going on hiatus, and Vetok also gone, we'll have to look at the structure of the League again soon enough.

If a nation and not a n00b, insulted the Honor of Finium, it's people, it's leaders, It's Emperor and It's Imperial is (as in League of Imperial Nations), Would that merit TLIN action if they refused to retract and apologize?

Ir would if the insult so threatened the stability and structure of said nation on the receiving end of such. Otherwise it might garner attention and a declaration by the League itself, that such a nation is a mere savage land, and the best it can hope to do against it's obvious betters, is to insult them.

I suppose a letter of intent in FInium's is warranted as well as a League response to Yohannes recent militarism as far as forcing economic growth without regards of sovereign lines etc.
