Servoth, is your nation Fascist or any other type of authoritarian nationalist ideology? If so, then Wirbel and Servoth could be allies. I'm planning on having the Kaiser's Fascist son take power in 1905-1907.

Seeing as the first working steam turbine was built in 1884 by Sir Charles Parsons
And the first steam turbine powered ship was built in 1894 (the Turbinia, fastest ship built at the time at 34 knots with twin 2,100 HP water tube boilers putting out 170psi at a very high volume, the steam was then recondenced with a radiator built into the ship hull for reuse), I would say yes you could.
But be warned that using a turbine in say.. a gun tractor.. would require a very large transmission and reduction gears to bring the RPM down to a useable rate and to convert the HP (or kW) output into tourqe, thus increasing the weight of the machine.
~~~ Still catching up on my reading haha
I'll probably create the devices needed to put a turbine on my gun-tractors since I'm developing so much in them. I'll probably focus more on converting that energy to create high torque since the machines will be somewhat heavy. But I'll read further more on it to understand it better.
Also for world wars, if you guys start one, I'd probably fight on my own, i have financial and supply allies, not military allies.
Perhaps you could be a neutral nation, or join the war defending your economic interests. (Protecting your trade partners.)
By 1908, almost completely Chinese-Communist. A strong nationalist population, bent to the will of the Consul by awe, propaganda, and fear. Housing is provided by the state for those with jobs, and the Tschowian air and sea forces are a deadly opponent. Should Sri Tschow be attacked on the land, it would turn into a scenario similar to the Gulf War (major defeat with little resistance). Will most likely support Taltaria, Cyprum, Novairia, Desaltonia, Rosswood or Inoroth. Led by the Consul Sun Chang II with an iron fist, a strong sense of national pride, and a twisted lack of empathy for those who displease him. His word is God's word. Disobey, and you are pitched into the Vitus Ocean. Should the nation be in war, it will most likely be over eastern colonization, or by being dragged in by an ally. Strongly opposed to Fascism, Sun Chang is often heard going on rants about 'those Wirbelian pig-dog oppressors'. He has a vastly unstable personality, similar to Hitler. Once seen killing a top General of his by crushing his throat.
I am more than willing to war over nationalism, racism, imperialism, religion, binding alliances, etc... All of these sound like things Inoroth embraces or could embrace.
@Bessavaria - welcome aboard... We seem to have several things in common, your nation and mine, as there is a large catholic/protestant population, germano-Italian ethnicities, and a long border... To name a few. I would be more than interested in making a formal alliance with you, should that be to your liking. At least some sort of trade agreement is in order, I should think.
@Wible- an alliance between our Christian nations is becoming of our beliefs, yes? <-- Yes, but we shouldn't base the entire alliance off of that. Svealand said that Christians vs. Everyone else is typcially boring.
@Everyone else who suggested they might ally with Inoroth - you are always welcome, just lemmie know if you want to make it official, as well as how strong an alliance you wanted.
Well... I think that covers all I wanted to say for now. Did I miss anything?
Well, there is a thing about the type of fibers, I know becuase my mother was and still is a quilter. Cotton and linen is best for warmer climates; while wool, fleece, and fur is better for colder climates. So linen or cotton is what your soldiers would most likely be wearing, also most likely in green color variations.
And by the way you don't have to be a military expert to know that, sadly.
