Friends, as we are all members of the NS Catholic community I hope that this message will strike true to you. As the Catholic Church in real life calls us to help those of our society who are least able to help themselves, I ask you to join me in helping those members of our NationStates roleplaying community who need help the most. You may or may not be aware, but there is a game played by some on NationStates referred to as "Raiding", whereby they and their friends simultaneously invade an innocent region, topple the native delegate, eject members of their community, deface their World Factbook Entry, and grief and spam their message board. To normal regions it is a pain, but to regions involved in roleplaying it is detrimental.

We are all writers here. Telling us that we cannot write is like telling us that we cannot breathe. Do you remember who engaged you in writing? A wonderful teacher? A close friend? A relative, perhaps? For me, it was my mother. Writing is my way of staying close to her memory and being the person that she saw me as; that she wanted me to be. If my mother knew that I interacted with people on a daily basis, and even wrote with many of them, who were vulnerable to having their writing destroyed, she would want me to help them. I know this. What if your favorite English teacher knew what was going on in this game? That harmless people, who want only to write as we do, were being trod upon? Wouldn't they want you to do something about it?

You have that opportunity. A Treaty exists between the Raiding groups of NationStates and several vulnerable roleplaying regions that serves to protect said regions. In order for this Treaty to work, we need Volunteers who are willing to have a nation at our disposal that is in the World Assembly (it needn't be your main nation; you could make a puppet just for this purpose) and who can offer us less than ten minutes of their time each week. But, in such little time, the good that you can do would be immense. Please, Telegram me if you are interested or meet me on the IRC on the Esper server in #paxscriptorum.
