Description:

The holy empire of Metal and Thunder are descended of vikings, and believe themselves to be descendants of Odin. Their army may be small and lack the guns that many nations are turning to for their great power over swords, but this doesn't mean they're any less dangerous. They put their research into "less cowardly" weapons. As such, their army is equipped with the most formidable tower shields and plate armor in all of Europe. The shields, patterned after those of the roman legion, are made of .2 (point two) inch thick steel, effectively blocking musket balls. They arm themselves with one handed axes, solid steel spears (including the shaft), and finely crafted, deadly sharp brass daggers for sidearms. Their armor itself is made purely of .1 (point one) inch thick brass, which is effective against smaller projectile weapons. As you can imagine, bearing this much weight makes Bastion's Legionaries massive mountains of men. The legionaries are selected at age seven, patterned after the Spartan example, and trained brutally. All this combined has made their relatively tiny army one of the most feared fighting machines in all of Europe. Also of note is their utter refusal to use any projectile weapons, considering them to be cowardly.

A war was just fought over Northern Sweden and Iceland. Yugoslavia and the Commonwealth of Poland are preparing to invade Hungary. One RPer was booted because of Godmoding and thats about it.
