statement that she has ordered genocide against those
that opposes freedom and democracy.

KEINSTEINEM - Today, the Luziycan Central Intelligence Agency had leaked documents, revealing that the "President" of the "Republic of Lanos," Marina Aruthyan, leading a puppet state of Crystal Spires, a communistic nation, and which supported the USSR, has ordered a massacre of protestors in the capital city of Keinsteniem, that pledged support for full freedom and democracy. Of those to be affected, it was revealed a significant biased, of which 95% of the Luziycan ethnic minority will consist 97% of the victims in the massacre in Keinsteinem that is due to occur within the next eight-teen weeks. For proof, we have full footage which could be viewed at bethlehemtimes.co.luz, both in audio and visual.

She discussed with "Congress," and had a unanimous 100% vote in both the Senate and House of "Representatives" that do NOT represent the people of the "Republic" of Lanos. In fact, since the Civil War ended, Lanos is a communist dictatorship that oppresses and tramples its mostm basic human rights. Thus, according to international law, Lanos should NOT be recognized as a valid country, and its leaders must be tried in an international tribunal set up in the capital city, Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, who helped form a civilized Christian society in the Christian Republic. Thus, we have comments from locals, from our website in reaction to reports of the genocide that is about to occur against the Luziycan minority.

These comments, as well as various other comments posted on our website reporting this story shows that people within the free Christian Republic of Luziyca oppose the genocidal nation that is the Republic of Lanos. Even a Gallup Poll now shows 89% support of invading Lanos, and to try their leaders in an international tribunal hosted in Bethlehem.

Coffee was at her desk, reading the newspaper. She had a grim, worried look on her face, fearful of a genocide that WILL happen unless if Lanos gets liberated by the free and democratic Luziycans. She then read Page A3, when she had an urge. She then stood up, and headed to Congress. Through a loyalist, a sapient pony, Dippy, she could propose something.

"I, Dippy propose police action on the 'Republic' of Lanos, on the grounds of sapient right violations, genocide, and the threats that it poses to the civilized free world," in the Senate. Promptly, after it was called to vote, the Senate voted, 45-3. It then moved to the House of Representatives where only one opposed the bill.

They now would begin their preparations to commit police action against the 'Republic' of Lanos.

An extremely nervous gathering of the Cabinet, top Congressional leaders, the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Supreme Commander, humanitarian officials, and President Marina Aruthyan herself (minus her family being kept safe away from the capital for now) had convened this meeting in reaction to the Luziycan "insanity" surrounding the laughably false accusations of genocide and communism ruling the place. It was insulting to insist the country was genocidal, having defeated the Fascists that did such acts during the Civil War, and that the nation had executed hundreds of thousands for committing such a crime. The whole country laughed these accusations off, even those that had supposedly witnessed this "act" in Keinsteinem. Probably the incident that has them all in an uproar was a police raid on a drug-connected safehouse that netted a lot of people in jail right now. Well that wasn't going to solve anything now. What worried the group in the secure room was that threats of war and possible military action against the nation could occur. Over bullshit that did not happen and is not happening right now. The military leaders discussed possible ways of defense against the Luziycans after the whole room agreed upon a diplomatic rebuff that even included offering the Luziycans a tour of the nation to prove they weren't what that slanderous load of crap was saying. Though knowing them, it wasn't going to be enough.

I would like to finally propose mobilizing the National Guard. This situation demands that we take such acts immediately, especially around Keinsteinem and potential invasion routes to the capital. Sure the other cities can have their local Guard armies rallied but I fear the main target is the capital-
Damn right the capital will be targeted. Just how will they get there? The Navy would have to hold them off or contain any invasion fleet after they land en route!

Enough. Marina had enough of the bickering. She needed people to work together, not shit all over the place with rage. Regardless of whether they have any rational leaders over there or not, we, for the lack of any other alternative, have to do what we need to do to defend ourselves against them should they decide to attack us. The National Guard is going to be mobilized quietly or as quiet as possible. We want the outsider perspective that we're only mobilizing them for training purposes. The media will understand our requests to keep the actual numbers low in reporting. As for the Navy, we'll have to have them hold back...not until I'm done Admiral...the Navy will hold back until they managed to hit the shore and then we will take action to disrupt them if possible. I want to have a good chunk of the Navy free from harm to wreck them in the supply routes and the transport ships to hit the invaders where it hurts the most. We can also have the subs and harassing ships go in during and after the landing to give them hell. We'll have to let them on the shores but we will do our best to limit them. No guarantees on what will really happen. They could get to Keinsteinem in a day but they will not take over the capital and our nation.

She stopped before leaving the room and letting the rest of the group sort out the details. Remember, only one nation has subjugated us before and we hit them for over three hundred years before they gave our nation back. The people of Lanos won't stand by like stool pigeons while they come in. Now let's get to work.

Recently it came to the nation's attention, albeit at first in a humorous way, that your nation accuses us of committing genocide and being a communist nation. Laughable as that may seem since none of this is true, it worries us that your country is threatening to go to war against the Independent Nation for things that do not exist. Finally, Coffee, the Defense Minister, and a General, whose grandparents were of Lanos ethnicity, but understood and was fluent in Lanosian, who was allowed to enter Central Command. His name was Pedro Gingrich, and was 66 years old. He was born in Bethlehem, but his parents lived on farms in Luziyca, whilst his grandparents came from the capital of Lanos.

"Mademoiselle, I have a suggestion." General Pedro asked President Coffee, the Commander-in-Chief of the Luziycan Armed Forces.

"What is it, Mr. Pedro?" Coffee replied.

"I suggest we bring out the Hornets to do a bombing run over Keinsteinem. I read the article, and was QUITE disturbing. I read the letter, and found it covered in blatant LIES."

"Sounds brilliant," she said. "Did you shred the letter?"

"I'll get around to it."

"I will NOT release the F-18 Hornet drones until YOU take this document," pointing to the message that was on his desk from Lanos.

"Alright, Your Excellency, if you wish." With that, he then picked up the diplomatic message, took it to a shredder, and then after a minute, returned, and tossed the shredded paper in the garbage.

"Thank you, General Pedro. I shall now consider doing the bombing raid."

"You are welcome, Mademoiselle Coffee."

The air was electric with tension. Nobody was sure what was going on, with the exception of perhaps the Intelligence Service of Anacasppia. But it had to be something big, for the President to call a meeting at midnight. The ISA director had been sitting in the Octagonal Office with President Martin Lezar since half an hour ago. Other key figures began to stream into the office, namely the Vice President, President of the Senate, director of the Foreign Service, and various members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Gathered around the 15-foot long conference table which was crafted with reinforced wood and veneered with European cherry, they began to make small talk.

'Hush, people,' ordered the President. His tone was so commanding and convincing that immediately, the office was so silent that a dropping pin would have been heard.

All eyes turned to him. The President proceeded to instruct the ISA director to brief everyone as to the current state of affairs.

'All right. Basically, as you all already know, Luziyca has accused Lanos of being genocidal and communist, and their senate has passed a bill for police action. Based on latest satellite overfly reports, Luziyca has begun large scale mobilization of military forces. Our estimations suggest that an invasion could be launched anytime in the next 24 hours,' said the director in his usual monotone.

'Now look, Luziyca's accusations simply don't match up with what we know of Lanos; that is, a highly democratic nation. Besides, we have always had strong trade relations. An invasion of Lanos by Luziyca would change all that. Our businesses could lose billions. And god knows what Luziyca, itself a dictatorial state, would do to the people and infrastructure of Lanos. It'd be best if we can maintain the peace, so any ideas, people?' asked the President.

The Foreign Service director's hand shot up. 'How about...a strongly worded message, threatening military intervention if Luziyca invades Lanos?' suggested the director.

'Sounds good to me...if nobody has any objections, get the state secretary to word the message right away. I want that message out in one hour. Also, place the 3rd Air Group, 2nd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, and 111th Light Infantry Brigade on standby,' instructed the President, a man known for being decisive.

About half an hour later, the Secretary of State sent out the following message to both nations:

The Air Force general in command of the station's section on the air defense of Lanos, and consequently in charge of Air Combat Command, was intrigued by this alert from a radar operator. 20 suspected F-18 bogies headed towards Lanos? That's enough to go over to confirm.

20 you say?
No radio contact too. They refuse to identify and no transponders identify origin.
And you're sure this isn't a ghosting?
That's what the radars read, sir. Even the Navy and the sats confirm. These aren't ghost patterns.
And how far are they away?
750 miles from shore and closing. Estimated target appears to be-

The general got on to the intercom system and announced to the entire station, including the same group of people that held a meeting in the Situation Room a while ago with the President and her pony daughter now in tow, Ladies and gentlemen. I don't these bogies are friendly and I can guess where they came from. Prepare for a rocky ride. He then turned to his aides. Get the Air Combat Command staff on and the nearest carriers too. We're gonna need to take them down before our air defense artillery gets to practice on real enemy targets.

Several Air Force bases, including Houston, deployed a mass swarm of F-22 and F-35 fighter jets in defense of Lanosian airspace but 25 F-22s and 20 F-35s from the Navy and the Air Force were sent out to destroy the incoming threat. It wasnt hard to find the 20 jets but they weren't, confusing to the jet pilots, to be manned at all but armed nonetheless. This still elicited a demand from them to tell these unmaned planes to go away. Warning fighter jet operators. You are entering the defensive-action airspace of the Independent Nation of the Republic of Lanos. Your trajectory indicates to us that you are on track of proceeding to our capital to. Turn back now or be prepared to lose your craft. They confirmed that they were from Luziyca. When the jets didn't turn around, the assembled Lanosian jets had to do what they were sent to do. Wreck them to hell. The 45 fighters began to decimate the entire enemy bombing force and, sensing the drone operators tried to counterattack but failed regardless, finished off the rest of the drones and thundered back home to bases and ships.

Only now did anyone get how serious Luziyca was on this matter. It seemed they were out of their minds. Nothing Lanos could do now to stop them...now the only thing to do was prepare to stop them from taking over Lanos if and when they landed.

Finally, Central Command also announced to commence Operation: Overture.

They would send one fleet, to the largest state south of the ten northern states, where the capital, Keinsteinem is located. It is to land on a coastal village, somewhat less than a few thousand people, to take over their nation, and to help create a stable government. General Pedro will also head to the front-lines.

Near the town of Wilsonshire, Kastein, Lanos

The coastal town was asleep at around 2:30 AM Lanos Daylight Time (GMT-6) and it wasn't going to change anytime soon. A few days ago, it saw the fighters come and go from wrecking those drones and saw its menfolk in the National Guard and the active services go off to stations. It didn't worry the residents in the slightest that they were 100 miles from the center of Keinsteinem. They didn't know what was coming when the war that was spawned was later declared Kasten. Das Kasten der Kriegsfearlande sincert das Great Kreigsfearlande. The Third Feared War upon the Land since the Great Feared War upon the Land. The chills went down the nation's collective spine when the drones went down and when the enemy rhetoric went hot. The National Government evacuated from Keinsteinem to Nostrom but President Marina and the military commanders stayed in Fort Oak Hill to rally and command the nation when the time for war came. The catch was no one knew when the war would come. That was answered this night on June 1st, 2016. Two Lanos Border Patrol officers were making their patrol route on the coastal beach in a Chevrolet SUV that was heavily armored though it didn't give the appearance. The men inside were armored and armed similar to the Army's soldiers or the Marines but they would likely have to engage first. The Coast Guard had a cutter out on patrol but it wasn't picking up anything, yet.

At that moment, they heard a thunderous explosion and looked toward the ocean. Sure enough, they see the Coast Guard cutter on patrol blow the fuck up. They also see hundreds of ships, most appearing to be landing craft with other combat ships coming in. They also happen to hear the roar of fighters coming over them. Their luck held that they weren't spotted but it was only a matter of time. WHISKEY 249 TO STATION, RADIO IT IN. 11-99! 11-99! SPOTTED MASS OF SHIPS CLOSING ON POSITION. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. LANOS IS UNDER ATTACK. The two officers exited from their SUV and manned the doors and began to engage the incoming invaders with their service weapons. They weren't any match but they did it in the name of their country. They were killed by Luziycan troops but the officers took some with them. The invaders steamrolled Wilsonshire before proceeding onto its objectives but would later suffer the consequences when the residents of this, and other municipalities, would take up its now-hidden arms and revolt against the invader.

The radio call, plus many others as well as texts, emails, phone calls, and other means of communication, alerted the Command and the nation of the news. Air raid sirens across the nation wailed into life as hundreds of thousands of servicemen, perhaps millions, got their combat gear on and began to rush to stop the invaders. The Luziycans had a devil of a time roaring on at the early hours since the nation was, essentially, caught off guard but they would see their first Lanosian combat units engage soon. These, and many others, would try to stop them before they hit Keinsteinem. The 21st Army, recently returned home from the Burgundy Plains was the first to stand in the way. The 1st Army and the 41st were on the way and ready to block them. The 2nd, 16th, and the 32nd were also on the way but they would take time to arrive. The small city of Amswell was the first stand against the invader, 75 miles from Keinsteinem. The 21st would make its first stand here before going back if need be.

There was no mistaking it. The Independent Nation of the Republic of Lanos was under attack and under invasion. Come hell or high water, they weren't going to let them win.

While 135 men died, it was in no time when General Pedro set up base in the "provisional capital of the State of Lanos," Wilsonshire. A new flag would be raised, as well as a new anthem. He then declared martial law in the areas he controlled, thereby enabling HIM to rule by decree. The first decree created the State of Lanos, a flag, with two stars, the five points representing the 5 states in the constituent Republics that form the State of Lanos. It also adopted a new anthem, God Bless Lanos, to the tune of a popular wedding song in Luziyca and the rest of the world.

The following day, barbed wire surrounded a 2 mile radius around Wilsonshire, with only a single checkpoint. The military would have a quarter of them stationed in Wilsonshire, to defend it.

They just did WHAT?! screamed a very angry Marina Aruthyan waking up from a catnap and being seperated from her pony daughter again for God knows how long this time. The Luziycans have done what now?!
Ma'am, they just hit the shores near Wilsonshire. They're reportedly 70-75 miles away from Keinsteinem and they now have a 10 mile wide front-
The hell they do! Where's the Army?
They're moving in as fast as possible but they're only going for Keinsteinem from what it looks like with the front being as wide as it is. The other Armies and such moving in is going to contain that but what's going to stop the moving formatio-
General. Marina paused. Are the Marines containing the sides?
Yes they are. The combined active and Guard Field Marine Forces in the area are beginning to contain with minimal effect unless attempting to cut off the line.
What's in the way of the formation?
The 21st Army now and later the 1st and the 41st. 2nd, 32nd, and 16th are coming in fast but they'll have to hold out where the enemy's closing in.
Good...assemble the commanders. We need to start planning how to win this war.

Close to two hours after the war began, the 21st Army was ready and waiting for the Luziycan invasion force to make its way to Keinsteinem. Its 5 divisions in brigade combat team-formations made it perfect for quick deployment and to be agile when attacking. It wasn't too heavy to move around nor too light when it came to holding its ground. Perfect. Well. Sort of. 100,000 men in the 21st may not hold out for long against these guys depending on how large this attacking force is. If what the estimates coming in were, about 400k+ and counting, were true, the 21st couldn't hold forever. It needed those reinforcements but it had to wait. It was the only one so far active and moving to defend. 1st was digging in around Keinsteinem in certain areas ready to fall back to another line while the 41st, the occupiers of Underium, readied to back up the defenders. Thing is, what the hell are they facing and how long can they hold? 21st had to find out first. It's 2 infantry divisions, mechanized infantry (Panzergrendier), armored, and cavarly divisions were now waiting for the enemy to roll in. They had their orders to hold as long as possible and get out another few miles back as far as 25 miles to the capital. They waited until...

After several hours, they now reached their first major target. If Amswell falls, it would be a keyhole. Indeed, the 3/4 that were not in the "interim capital of Staat der Lanos," were now organizing their formations. After receiving orders from Central Command in Bethlehem, they then began to fire at the Lanosian soldiers. The Luziycans represented Free Lanos, and indeed, they will "fight to liberate" Lanos from "a genocidal communist who wants to harm all freedom-loving nations." The tanks began firing, it was to become a battle to end ALL battles. Sort of.

As for the soldiers, their morale seemed to be really intense, for they are joyful that various towns are falling to the State of Lanos. Apparently, it was meant to be a success in freedom and democracy, and if it was the case, it was TRUE. For now, at least. They began to dig trenches, thinking it would be a long while.

Lanosian will be an official language, in the State of Lanos, as well as English. However, General Pedro then issued a decree. Two, actually. The first one outlawed all alcoholic and drug products, save for wine, with the punishment to be deported to Luziyca. The second outlawed ALL use of the imperial system and declared that metric would be the only legal system of measurement for all intents and purposes. For now, the currency was the dollar, but was now pegged to the Luziycan lira, with 2,500 dollars = 2,500 lira = 1 dollar.

The 21st opened fire upon the enemy forces first but were pretty certain what was coming for them wasn't going to be stopped easily. The divisions were reporting enemy heavy fire and threatening to have the divisions broken and destroyed if they were out there too long. They only fired for 30 minutes before ordering a retreat. The 21st would fight elsewhere for now, taking its losses of 1,621 KIA while moving out. As the retreat was going on, the Air Force moved in to cover them and harass the enemy forces and make sure they didn't enjoy this venture that shouldn't have happened in the first place. The Navy would do its job later but now they would have to group up before doing so. The retreats continued before another stand was made.

Here was a somewhat important city that had some crossroads but gauging from the enemy's depth, they didn't care much for those crossroads. Now 25 miles wide and 55 miles in, these guys were serious about moving against Keinsteinem. Now there was a difference in who was holding off. The 21st went straight to Keinsteinem to defend the area 25 miles from the center. 45 miles from there was the 41st Army. The 41st had 10 divisions and 200,000 men to throw at the enemy. Still didn't matter since they were outnumbered by what was now estimated to be 500k+ enemy forces coming at them. The same plan was in effect until Keinsteinem's environs began to be threatened. Engage for a short time, then break away and retreat. When we get to 25 miles, hold fast and retreat only when needed. The command was universal at this point but the 41st was, however, ordered to head directly to Keinsteinem to begin the 25 mile line defense to save the manpower and to fight them there. This made the men grumble with their morale already at a low point but they soon got the message that this was their homeland and they would stand and fight against the Fascist invaders. This is Kasten. This is Lanos. No one will take their capital.

It was 8:30 AM. 6 hours after the invasion began. The Lanosians gave up 1,875+ square miles of its land to the Fascists and more would fall soon. They were spreading out to the dismay of the Marines and the incoming Guard units trying to stop them. By now, the 1st, 21st, and the 41st Army had dug themselves in varying degrees of depth ready to pull out slowly and painfully for the enemy when they had to. The Air Force was in full swing making combat runs and waiting to do more runs when called upon. They were closing fast on the Lanosian positions but this time they weren't expecting light engagements. Soldiers and Guardsmen, even civilians in full battle gear and uniforms, had their bayonet fixed and hunkered down in buildings and foxholes. In Fort Oak Hill, well out of the firing lines, Marina Aruthyan wasn't all that happy to be away from her pony, guaranteed to be upset by not being there with her but she had to keep her away for her own safety. Sadly for those in the occupied areas, they weren't so lucky. She wasn't levelling blame on anyone for what happened-only the Luziycans for doing this-but she was going to make sure they were kicked out and not able to do this again. It's 8:30 now. Ambassador Bozeat, the Krumbian ambassador to the CoPS had done very little in his time as ambassador to the CoPS. It was this moment that would define his career. Having been one of the first to hear about the war between Lanos and Luzicya, it was Bozeat's responsibility to inform the rest of the Krumbian government. And so, he set about writing the letter.

In a darkened room, the hallowed halls of the Krumbian embassy, the curtains closed and the place deserted. Here sat Bozeat, a pen in his hand, a bottle of wine on his desk, and a blank sheet of paper. He addressed it to the Krumbian Office of Foreign Affairs in Rockport City, the capital of Krumbia.

Dear James Kowalski,

As you may know, a the nations of Lanos and Luzicya are currently locked in a state of war. The current situation is that an invasion of Lanos has been laucnhed, successfully, with a provisional capital of the 'State of Lanos' being set up in Wilsonshire. Clearly, the Luzicyans plan to march on Keinsteinem, the Lanosian's true capital.

I suggest, due to the alliance that our two nations have, and the reassurance that regardless of our situation, they would help us, that we offer them humanitarian, military and financial aid. I am sure, knowing of the possible destruction this could cause, Kris Johnson would be more than willing to help us.

I hope, with this knowledge, that you will make the correct decision. I shall be here, reporting on any new activities that you may not know of.

Within Amswell, over 391 were killed by the firings of the 21st, whilst the Air Force killed 1,935 people. Already, it was declared by General Pedro to be "Highway One," from Wilsonshire to Keinsteinem. Promptly, the remainder would march through, keeping 15,000 troops to be stationed there. Not as much as in Wilsonshire, but still, enough to protect Amshire.

Therefore, the Luziycans would open fire on the Lanosian soldiers, blocking their way. They were declared in official propaganda of the State of Lanos, as "liberators and allies." One poster even had a Luziycan and Lanos (State of) flag, with a soldier from Luziyca in the foreground. Below that, it read, "This is your friend."

Between yesterday and today, there still was a war going on. The Luziycans were still at it and the Lanosians had to fall back, with heavy losses in the tens of thousands, 5 miles to 20 miles to the center. Along the way, they exacted a heavy price upon the invaders for every yard they gained. The situation was somewhat improved by now but the enemy was expanding their lines and depth all the while but they weren't doing for free. In any event, mass evacuations from the warzone/predicted warzone/"just get the fuck out because this could become a warzone at any moment" commenced with a mass exodus of millions fleeing the invader. Some stayed behind to do a more noble patriotic task. They would hide out and wait for their enemy to take over and begin to resist the Fascist invader. National Resistance, the plan of resistance against a foreign invader in occupied Lanos, was activated and there would be hell to pay for taking over Lanos. Eventually they will start to resist but things elsewhere demanded more attention than resistance. Fort Rezantia, in the way of the enemy route to the city center and 9 miles from it, became a super firebase for artillery and air defense batteries in the span of several hours. It was already fulfilling its new firebase and garrison/defensive roles long before the Lanosians pulled 5 miles back. Only now at full capacity could it deliver its murderous fire more fully than yesterday. As a matter of national survival, there was no real pause to the guns firing at any given time discernable to an observer. It would soon see the most vicious fire and attacks later but for now the base kept at being a firebase.

Meanwhile, Marina Aruthyan took to reading the diplomatic messages sent to her and the Luziycans and all the too happy that nations were reaching out to help. Though there was one thing she, and the nation, did want to make clear. She made it clear in her message to the nation earlier. It was well defined in her note:

To all nations firmly against the Luziycan invasion of our nation.

The Kasten der Kriegsfearlande is still ravaging our nation and despite the demands to stop, combat activities against Lanosians forces continue as I write this. The enemy continues to fight us and, reportedly through our intellegence, have set up an occupation government with the intent to destroy the rights of those occupied in our nation. It is not their nation. It is our nation. Now a war exists because of outright lies and it will, in the end, be extremely bloody and costly. However, while we appreciate the offers of military help in Lanos, I ask that, for now, to hold off sending your forces to Lanos. It is our wish to defeat this invader, as we have defeated the Fascists in our 14-year civil war in the same way, alone. While this may seem such a strange request to you, our nation wants to resolve this without armed foreign intervention. We do ask for humanitarian assistance to deal with our refugees in our own nation.

By that point, the army kept advancing forward. Now, at Fort Rezentia, it was where the tables would turn.

As usual, the commanders from Central Command ordered them to fire at the Lanosian troops, with their submachine guns. The infantry would start to fire at the Lanosian troops. Morale was extremely high by that point, and Luziyca felt it was proud to spread freedom and democracy to Lanos. Firing and firing, it turned out that 2/3 of the Luziycan troops would die by the enemy fire.

"We have a plan to take Keinsteinem, the capital of Lanos, and the sole legitimate capital of the State of Lanos, and to place General Pedro in power."

"Very well. Send it in, Your Excellency."

She then sent a message to the generals in the front line. "Here is the plan to invade the capital of the State of Lanos, as proclaimed by General Pedro. It will have two fronts, 1/3 to take the rest of the country, and 2/3 to concentrate their forces on the capital city. We must siege the capital, and then blow the government there, like popping a pimple."

IC: Immediately, on the front line, the Generals received the morse code message sent by Coffee, and sent 1/3 back to capture the rest of the "Republic" of Lanos, whilst the remainder would "pop Keinsteinem like a zit on your bloody forehead." Thus, they would reorganize, and then march onto the capital. The remainder then would scatter themselves, to try and capture the rest of Lanos.

There was a renewed sense of furvor trying to take Keinsteinem among the enemy. The Lanosians all over knew it when the Luziycans began to hit harder on them than ever, forcing a pull back. This was getting tiring. Command was being annoyed with the losses and having to pull wrecked divisions from the line only to pull the replacements out when they were wrecked. Turnover was getting worse and worse and more ground was given up to account for the losses. More ground was being given up thanks to them having the urgency to "pop us like a zit" and it wasn't helping that 2/3rd of their force was doing the attacking. And if they weren't silly enough to send it uncoded, they send it in Morse code. You know how easy that was to break? It didn't matter but at least that had a guestimate on how many they were facing. By the evening, 15 miles were behind the Lanosians and things weren't going to get better. Elsewhere though, they were looking up. Their means to spread out were being slowed down by the Marines and the other Armies and other means of attack was being done to convince them they fucked up.

Off the shores of Wilsonshire, Kastein, Lanos

An Luziycan aircraft carrier was under the sights of a certain orbital satellite. This satellite had its order to target the carrier to show who the owners of that carrier were dealing with. It fired its 25ft.x1ft cylindrical tungsten-composite rod of God at Mach 3 speed directly toward the aircraft carrier with the potential to create the equivalent of a 50 kiloton nuclear blast. It would make it to its target faster than the target could evade it. When it hit that carrier, it was going to make sure it wasn't going back home. Elsewhere in enemy-held Lanos, orbitals were doing the same (though in limited firings and with limited power) to disrupt and show Lanos wasn't giving up. This, and the Air Force doing round-the-clock missions, were designed to make sure the enemy wasn't going to get away with this. Though eventually more reinforcements were going to becoming in and more shit would be coming.

Sadly for them, Lanos had home-field advantage.
