Same as last time... she thought. Except it wasn't. There was no vision this time. It was more like a firmware update. The sphere attached to her spine and forced terabytes worth of instructions into her mind. How to control everything she had inherited and probably things she hadn't. As the sphere was absorbed into her, her heard a sickening pop from her spine, passed out, and went limp, hanging from the spot where the sphere had been by a ping just below her neck.

"They could care less what we're doing." she said. "A lot of these people here are on business. Meetings like this are niceties they use to make themselves feel better." She looked around the room. "See that couple over there?" she pointed to a pair wearing wedding rings. "They're cheating on their spouses. His ring is gold. Her ring is platinum with emeralds."

Sceela nodded as the city grew closer.
"Very well. I shall help you. " she replied.

A loud sonic boom could be heard. There was a sudden explosion in the trees. Marcus strode out of the fires in a long white robe.

"I told you to never return Sceela. And you, Aganotorus, have committed a grave mistake. "

Zectoris

Crysallis watched the skyline burn. New Ixis was burning. The fighting had only intensified once word had spread of the Battle of Vetega Prime, which was still going on.

"You seem sullen. Why? "
Crysallis found Varios standing behind him.
"What do you want? "
"Nothing. Nothing at all. I am simply watching this insanity. "
"An insanity that you caused. " Crysallis snapped.
Varios nodded sadly.
"I know. It is my path to do this. Balance must be created. "


Vetega Prime
Jakara dropped the sphere of debris that had grown to over 19 miles wide. Right on top of Jerascendor. She laughed.
"You will never defeat me bitch! "

Orbit

The space battle was in the enemy's favor. The Alliance Fleet was still punching a hole into the blockade. The cylon baseships unleashed their entire nuclear arsenals. The explosions would be seen from the surface.

"Balance. Something that hasn't existed since the dawn of Creation. You seek to restore the balance. This is unprecedented. No one being has ever had the power to do something so monumental. How does Chaos, the enemy of all gods, fit into this? " he replied.

"I need them all Marcus." Aganotorus said. He reverted to a form quite alike to his original body. He was remarkably handsome and not in the least imposing visually. However, something about his stance and his voice, devoid of emotion and decided in its pronouncements, would give the greatest kings pause. "You told me to do what I needed to end this threat. I need all four generals. If you don't want me to do my job then please tell me now so I can go enjoy myself in other, less risky ways. I am here by choice. Do. Not. Forget it. If you do want me to do my duties then please, for the sake of us all, allow me to work in peace with what I decide is vital."

Crutiaolaggo watched with interest, but not much. He wasn't expecting this, but the mind changed. The mind did different things to itself when need be. Many times he would come here and nothing would happen.
"You will understand later. Come."
Crutiaolaggo shifted back into reality.

Etelli & Liikana

"Yeah but..."
She could feel eyes burrowing into the back of her head. Her ears swiveled to hear the conversations, but she grew annoyed and finally stopped listening at an 'I love you'.
"Why do people cheat? Those two look like they are just here for a normal date, and they look happy. Did the other two change their minds on who they loved?"

"Please don't be so loud," she said softly. "I have a terrible headache." She opened her eyes. They were extremely bloodshot. She closed them tightly again. The light was much too strong. To her surprise she could see the sickbay well enough with her mind. She reach into one of the cabinets and pulled a bottle of migraine medicine and a bottle of vicodin. She gave herself an appropriate dose of each and waited for five minutes. She opened her eyes again. The room was still to bright, but at least it wasn't burning her eyes. "That sucked." she said.

"Well," Etelli looked at them. "They could just be bastards. On the other hand, they could be in the middle of divorces. They could have married the wrong people. They could be in open relationships for all I know. Not my thing, but as Kreanolthans everywhere have said for thousands of years, to each his own."

Marcus frowned deeply. Sceela grinned mischievously. Suddenly, Marcus seemed to deflate. Not because he was afraid or had a lack of energy for fighting, but because he had to work on Scilla and make some visits to realms unheard of.

"Slip up Sceela and I will see to it that you are returned to the Multiverse. " he stated.

He flew off into orbit at supersonic speed.
"Ooohh I'm soo scared. " Sceela said sarcastically.


Zectoris
"Balance? "
"Yes. An impossible future must be made possible to prevent another like Tanas or my other self from rising again. It's alright if you don't understand, for I just learned of it myself. Think about it. "
Varios disappeared as suddenly as he had come.

Aganotorus reverted to his angel avatar. He turned to face Sceela with all of his eyes open. "Don't mistake my defense of your return with my approval of your disobedience. I expect my orders to be followed. I also expect you to pay your respects towards Marcus. Now, I also expect him to respect the fact they you are under my command and my responsibility. I will treat you exactly like what you are: a soldier. You are an asset to me. You have the potential to be a liability. Are we clear?" he said.

She glared at him. The thought of killing him crossed her mind, but she decided it would be too much of an even battle.

"I will follow your orders. " she stated in reply, obviously ignoring the part about paying Marcus his respect.

The floating mountains stopped moving. The city was just 5 miles away now. Her clothing changed into that of an alluring dress dotted with a colorful assortment of a million supernovae.
"Shall we see the others? "

[Kreanoltha]

Aganotorus nodded. "That would be best." he said. "You can fly, yes?" He took to the sky on his wings, and waited for her to follow.

[Vetega]

She smiled.
"Of course. "

Huge white wings blossomed from her back. White energy swirled around her and through them. With a single thrust she was next to him.


Tower

On the roof of the engineering tower, the Time Vortex swirled. Kagura stood under it on the roof. She smiled. Sceela had returned. Her entrance had caused some alarm as her legendary floating mountains suddenly appeared on the horizon and flew within 5 miles. Now she could see Aganotorus flying with her. His plan was coming together. But it would be too late to save her and countless trillions.

Crutiaolaggo watched looking interested, though it was impossible to see through the suit he wore. He was actually always wearing that completely straight face unless he was frowning. He never smiled beneath that mask.
"You do know the original orientation of that statement, correct? And no, it did not. You think of things in the short term. In the moment. In the long term though, you have already begun to grow further than any elf that has ever lived. Rest, for I will give you an hour. Training will begin after that."

Etelli & Liikana
"Oh, well..."
She didn't like simply calling people names if she didn't know if they deserved it or not.
"Shouldn't it be, to each her own, for us?"
Liikana looked at the menu and attemted to figure out what exactly everything was.
"I've never seen so much food in all my life. I dont even know what any of this stuff is..."

Vetega Prime
Jerascendor simply let the thing fall on her. It gave her a tremendous amount of energy when it hit, since she shifted to hyperspace and took the kinetic energy from it. She didn't even really know how it happened, since it just simply came naturally. Her body exploded back into realspace with a bang and flew through the air towards Jakara.
"I dont want to defeat you. I want to destroy you." Jerascendor said errily calmly through her mind.
She closed her eyes and simply expulsed all of the energy she had acquired when she was running on her way there, and the force hit whatever her fist came in contact with with a power that she hadn't seen herself ever accomplish. The audible shock would travel around the world several times, while the earthquake would level buildings on the other side of the planet. The massive sphere of energy expanded in a bright blue flash and illuminated the moon that orbited above.

"Allright, three of those guys are trying to tail the end ship, so throw em back with the gravity manipulators. Jeez this fighter squadron is annoying! Have the auto turrets blast at em for a bit."
Fuukanr directed the Nova and her small force to punch holes in various places where the Imperial fleet was protecting. He continued to act erratically sometimes, but no doubt, he was the best for the job.
"Gimme some love, woman!"

There was no thought that Entity had now that didn't mean something important. He was attempting to find how exactly his new idea would work, and if he could even accomplish it.
"I do not seek to restore the balance. It was simply never created. Even you, must have known something like this."
Entity then smiled at the rest of the words Vex spoke.
"It cannot be done with one being. Do you see what power I have?"
Entity raised a fist and a bright white sphere of energy appeared in between his clenched fingers.
"Chaos can kill you I think, and so can I, or I could simply annihilate the multiverse. But this is not what I seek to do. Chaos is not the enemy anymore. I thought with him, and uncovered what he truly is. He is my opposite, equal, and most importantly, my brother. He is not evil like you once thought, for if he was, I would have turned into something like him. He was simply misguided, and misinformed. He, like me, is a power of it's own goal and own ideas. We are a force of creation together, and I now know this now, since I could feel it. Varios is to create the balance with me."

Vex was surprised. Creating a balance that never existed was impossible.

"An impossible future. " he said as Fate showed him the new futures that awaited

Provided, the right choices were made of course.
"Varios? He's reverted back to his old self."
His brow furrowed as the implications of this were calculated.
"I can see what you are trying to do. Understanding it will take some time. Marcus, however is stuck in the pass. As we speak, they are creating new ways to entomb Varios. I doubt it will work. But its still a problem. I'll deal with Marcus. " he stated.

Vetega Prime

Jakara flew back and slammed into the ground. She stood up inside the crater she created and wiped blue blood off her face. She spat out a tooth.
"I'll kill you bitch! " she roared.

She spread her legs apart and spread her hands on each side of her. Shadows came from the ground and gathered within her body. Dark energy flourished. Her mouth stopped bleeding and was healed. This was her home field. She flew towards Jerascendor and focused the energy into her hands. She appeared in front of her, then the side, then behind. She moved faster and faster while firing energy beams of all sizes and lethalities from every side. Even above and below.


Orbit

The Imperial forces began to surround the smaller Alliance force from all sides. Suddenly, the Hezion jumped right behind the battle. It charged weapons.

"Shit! " Virel yelled.

The Nova and every ship in the Alliance fleet was hit with Ori beams. Some of the ships exploded immediately. Before it could fire again, three constructs dropped out of hyperspace and opened fire on it. Their green cutting beams sliced into the outer hull of the Hezion.

"Not impossible. Vex, I have come to an understanding that even you cannot imagine. Nothing is impossible because there is nothing that cannot be."
Entity suddenly lashed out, shattering the futures that were possible and smiled.
"We dont need to see what cannot be seen, or should not be seen. I know what I must do, and it will be done whether it is possible or not. I will also have you know that Varios is not to be attacked. If he dies, I have no chance to create the balance, and my current purpose would be gone. I would... lose control, and eradicate everything I fear, or I would simply destroy myself. I still do not know what would happen."

Vetega prime

Jerascendor was surprised that Jakara was hardly hurt at all, but it simply pushed her nerves further, and she defended with extreme precision. She dodged and deflected nearly everything thrown at her until she had the chance. She jumped from her spot onto the ground far away, and pulled knives from somewhere in her clothes. Immediately, she was attacked, but she lashed out with a single precice and well placed attack straight in the middle of Jakaras arm, and she twisted the two bones apart while jumping back and readying for another attack.

Orbit

Fuukanr wasn't surprised at all, and suddenly seemed extremely calm compared to what he had been doing just a few seconds ago.
"What are they doing? Who is the Hezion with if the constructs are attacking it?"
He turned the Nova around and began to scream forwards, towards the Hezion with a very random and bumpy path. He was going to draw the other ships in closer and toss them into the massive vessel, or at least make them shoot at their own ship.

[Vetega]

Orbit

Virel stood up.
"Tanas. " he growled.

The battle between the constructs and the Hezion was so fierce that several imperial ships were caught in the crossfire. The Hezion activated Last Resort. The constructs activated Aereldos. The Hezion fired first. A red beam of energy slammed into the nearest construct. It began to drift uncontrollably until it exploded. The other two constructs fired in return. The first hit took out the LR system. The second hit took out the first layer of shielding.

The Hezion moved backwards.

"Fuukanr, I'm activating the ShadowDrive. It'll give us extra power. "" he stated.
He went to a terminal and typed in the codes necessary. The bridge lights turned red.

"Charging beam weapons. "
"Shield strength has tripled and continues to climb. "
Virel returned to his seat. A serious look crossed his face.

"Hold on a little longer Jerascendor. I'm coming. " he muttered.



Suddenly, a wormhole opened up behind the Hezion. It slipped inside and disappeared.

"Dammit! Take us back to the fight. " he said.


Surface

Jakara screamed in pain and teleported away.

"Dammit! That hurt bitch." she said as her arm began to heal itself.

She lifted one arm into the sky and a black disc formed. It became a sphere. She was about to use Chaos's power to destroy this planet. The familiar vortex of energy formed around her. Suddenly, a silver staff slammed into her chest. She flew back. The sphere continued to gather strength. Crysallis suddenly stood in front of it. He grabbed with his bare hand and absorbed it.

"Traitor! " Jakara yelled.
"Your forces have been given new orders. Retreat. You've lost Vetega Prime. I wonder what you'll lose next. Care to ask her? " he said while pointing at Jerascendor.
Izons clone teleported beside Jerascendor.

Vex frowned.
"If it requires the unmasking of my true form to stall Marcus, then I shall do so. You have my word."

[Kreanoltha]

Nebuchadnezzar

"Perhaps, but the colloquialism of the phrase means it was shit." Alathas said with her hands over her ears. "And yeah, rest sounds good." She slowly walked back to her room, but stopped by Nebuk, "Find everything you can on Project Heracles." She quickly got to her bed and fell asleep quicker than she thought possible.

Etelli & Liikana

"Eh..." she'd never really cared too much about that sort of stuff. They were just words. "Pretty much everything here is good." Etelli said. "What does your species usually eat?"

Orbit

Klaxons blared across the Dii Malleus. "Why the fuck is no one giving me a report!!" Octovinus hissed above the clamor of the bridge crew trying the get back in there seats. One man was pushing his leg back into joint while the woman next to him was pushing a support beam off her stomach. Outside the ship, the shield flickered as the last of the beams slamming into the bow gave out. They had pushed the ship seven hundred kilometers to stern. It looked for a moment as if the shields would fail, but after a last flicker, they stabilized. "Shields holding at five percent. Everything functional." "Get us behind the Nova. Fire plasma torpedoes." That was all they could do. The torpedoes could navigate around the Nova while still leaving the little ship protected from enemy fire.

Immortal Realm

Aganotorus nodded. "Keep up." he said as he flew towards the Plains of Selestis. At the same time he sent an avatar of the same form to Vex's tower to consult with him. When he arrived he was horrified to feel a familiar, repulsive aura. "Chaos!" he bellowed. This time he would not fail.

Orbit

"I dont want to lose her, so I'm not going to try and fight the Hezion. That thing is a real peice of work."
Fuukanr blasted away at the Imperial ships to let the pressure off of themselves while several other enemies were destroyed simply from the fire between the constructs and the Hezion. When the massive ship suddenly retreated, Fuukanr shot the Nova forwards and began to attack the Imperial ships again, which were now a bit confused.
"Will do. Come on baby. Just a few more ass whoopings."

Surface
"I hope so Jakara. You're going to die, and Tanas isn't going to save you again."
She rushed forwards just as the Chrysallis appeared. Now she had to fight two of them? But he said something, making the battle suddenly seem won. What was going on? And what exactly was she supposed to know what Jakara was going to lose?

Entity saw the Hezion leave again, and then saw the Chrysallis appear, stopping Vetega Prime from being destroyed. He was obviously not the evil one. Jakara was willing to annihilate an entire world of people, simply because she could.
"If it must come to it, then I will take matters into my own mind, though I will make sure not to hurt any one of you."
He sighed and looked at Vex with a sad smile.
"You see the doom coming, dont you? It is unstoppable, and must not be stopped either. Victory can only come if we have lost."

"Allright, I'll be sure to-"
Nebuk looked over to see that Alathas was already gone. Now that he was actually real, it seemed like he couldn't do anything the same. He used to be able to see Alathas whenever, and be able to check on the systems and stuff, all at once. Now he only had one perspective and viewpoint.
"I'll have it ready..." He muttered to himself.

Etelli & Liikana
Liikana closed her eyes and tried to remember way back when when her mom still cooked for her, before the empire actually got her.
"Well, I remember lots of carbs, like pasta. Loaded with cheeze and tangy juice, like lemons or something. Then all sorts of toppings and stuff. I remember I ate a lot..."

Entity turned to Aganotorus with a smile and a laugh.
"I'm not Chaos, though I may be closer to him than what thought before. Call me Order, or continue to call me Entity if you choose."
He knew there would be a few things he would need to say to Aganotorus now that the game was changed.

Alathas woke with a start. "Crap!" she muttered. She'd over slept by twenty minutes. She ran to the bridge where she expected to find Crutiaolaggo. "Sorry. I guess I was more worn out than I though."

Etelli & Liikana

"Then looked under the Italian section. That may have something of an approximation." Etelli said as she browsed the French section. French cuisine, on a somewhat larger scale, was quite successful in Kreanoltha.

He didn't believe him. Maybe this was some trick of the ever deceitful Chaos. A horrible shadow solidified in his hand. Light seemed to be sucked into the blackness as the aura became better defined. The Ensis Umbra. The culmination of all of his research. The one thing he knew could bring Chaos to his knees. His wings raised high above his head, eyes open wide.

Crutiaolaggo stood imposingly in the shadows, and without a word, forty blades appeared orbiting Alathas quickly.
"Only one is real. The rest are lies I put in your head. Think quickly."
At that moment, the knives began to dance around her manically, darting in and out, slowly closing in.

Etelli & Liikana

"Well, Etelli... I dont really know how to say this but..."
Liikana looked at her menu, trying to find the italian section, but she was more of trying not to look at Etelli.
"I-I'm, I... Know you're my friend, and that you probably... I like... Uh..."
Her breathing quickened but she tried to slow it, simply getting herself lightheaded, and she fumbled for words to grasp.

Skyfortress

Entity laughed this time, but noticed the powerful attack Aganatorus held.
"I told you that you would come here if they let you, and that you would be a bit more of use here, rather than fighting the Empire directly. I am Entity Aganotorus, and I fail to see why you cannot see that."
Entity waslked calmly over and stopped a suitable distance from the being.
"Would Chaos be here having a peaceful discussion with the one and only Vex and not be here to annihilate you all? That is the Chaos you know. I changed him, and you have a new enemy. Tanas is our enemy."

[Kreanoltha]

Nebuchadnezzar

Without hesitation, Alathas plucked a single knife from the air telekinetically. "This was the only one with really matter rather than a hardened photonic representation of matter. However, the others are just as lethal."

Etelli & Liikana

"Liikana." Etelli said softly. "Relax. If you want to tell me you like me then just say it. I like you too."

He flapped his wings once. A great wind rushed through the fortress. "I do now. You bare the stench of Chaos." The Ensis Umbra faded away. "I smell no lie on you though. I do not know how you could have do what it is you say, but I will hear you." His millions of eyes burned intensely. "I will be watching you closely however."

The other knives dissapeared immediately and the single one stayed in the air.
"Good, but what if I told you, that knife wasn't there?"

Etelli & Liikana

Liikana suddenly looked up from her menu with wide eyes.
"Bu-but Etelli... I think I more than like you, maybe not love, but I dont know, and... You like me..."
She suddenly smiled while she wiped away tears.
"I just... Never had any friends at all, and I never thought I would have a relationship with someone, and I dont know what to do."
Liikana hardly cared for food anymore. Etelli liked her, and she could feast on that statement.

Skyfortress

"You smeel him because he is me, or at least some of his mind is my own. We share a goal, and he is my brother. Asfor you watching me..."
Entity suddenly dissapeared, his mind, body and soul non existent on any understandable plane of reality.
"You are quite mistaken. It is I that watches. I that sees. You should trust me Aganotorus, since I and Chaos are the only salvation this existance has."
Entity became, again, and folded his hands behind his back with a smile.

[Vetega]

Vex decided that he would let Entity do the talking. He was still trying to understand.

"An inevitable Cataclysm. I've known that it would happen. Know we must let it happen in order to obtain victory. "

Plains of Selestis

Carthil smiled when Aganotorus returned with Sceela. He knew that he could complete the task. The test had been passed. Aganotorus was indeed worthy to lead them in battle. Then, he had disappeared. No doubt something important.
"Sceela, how are you? "
"Fine Carthil. And I see you've gathered the other two."
"I see your banishment has been rescinded. "
She turned to the voice.
"Gaiard, Toolin. It's been quite some time. "
"Indeed it has. "Gaiard stated.
Toolin stayed silent. He was mute and had chosen to stay that way, knowing that actions were better than words.
"The Invincible 4 have gathered once more. War is coming. " Carthil mused.

Orbit

The imperial fleet began to turn away. The Alliance forces continued to fire until the last ship had left.

Surface

Crysallis glanced at Jerascendor.
"A great battle is before you. Zectoris is a fortress world. You will need all the help you can get. "

He turned back to Jakara.
"You have lost your homeworld to us. You and Jerascendor will have ample time to kill each other on Zectoris. Be gone. "

"As if. That bitch will die today! "

She rushed Crysallis. He simply slammed the end of his staff into the ground. An explosion of pure energy held her in place before him.
"I am Crysallis. Creator of the constructs. Leader of the Vexil Horde and the strongest of Izons clones. When I say be gone, I mean it. Be gone! " he shouted.

The energy from his voice opened a portal and she was blasted into it. The portal collapsed, and she was gone. Then, the ground shook.


Hezion.

Tanas was enraged. He roared! The power of his rage reverberated through the Multiverse. His eyes became red. Chaos had disappeared, Crysallis had turned against him, and Jakara had failed again.

Alathas' senses played over the knife. "A closer photonic approximation of a knife blade's make up?"

Etelli & Liikana

"Of course I do." she said. She leaned over and kissed Liikana's cheek. "Did you see anything you like?" she wasn't really trying to change the subject, but she hadn't eaten in twelve hours, and she was about to fall out of her seat she was so hungry.

Skyfortress

Aganotorus materialized a cigarette into his hand. Already lit. "I shall wait to see what Vex has to say on the matter, thank you."

"Dont think about it as if it exists. I will give you a hint. That one dosen't."
Crutiaolaggo set the thought in her mind and let her own power do the work for him. It would seem so real, and seem impossible to ban from her thoughts.

Etelli & Liikana

This time, Liikana fell out of her chair. Everything simply slowed down and stopped moving for a moment, and then came back up to normal speed. The next thing she knew she was on the floor with a huge grin on her face. Liikana hopped back into her chair and just suddenly felt so alive.
"I saw some stuff."

"You are a wise being Aganatorus, but you will find, that with wisdom comes understanding. You currently have little wisdom, as your experience is small, but you will find your own very rapidy. I hope you do well."
