The Imperial Palace would be filled with several prospective brides and guests of the Emperor's favor. It would be held at Nossberg Castle on the Nossberg mountains. It is located 210 miles from the capital

The guests were about to arrive, the servants set up plates of elaborate food on a porcelain dinner service in the grand dining hall. The emperor's 20 footmen on staff, all in yellow and gold trimming, blew horns.

"Wow, what a necklace," exclaimed Princess Brianna, who was wearing a backless turqouise dress, and a 14 karot diamond necklace, that her brother had just bought for her.

"I'm glad you like it sis," King Ryan I of Maron said. He was wearing his traditional suit and tie, and the Admiral hat, that he had earned as a member of the Royal Navy at just 17 years old.

Just moments before they were to leave for the meeting with the Zhenghou Wao dynasty Emperor, King Ryan had made an impromptu stop at the Royal Jewellers buying his beloved sister a gift for the trip and something to wear for the Emperor when she met him for the first time.

She spoke up, "Ryan seriously, did you have to buy me this?"
He replied,"Brie, anything for you."

Ryan opened the door to the Jewellers and waited for the driver to open the limo door. The Royal Jet was set to leave in just 15 minutes at the Christchurch Airport, and Ryan didn't want to be late, even if he was the King. He was going to accompany her as far as Nosberg Castle and if the Emperor would allow him, he planned on staying in the Zhenghou Wao Dynasty until his sister was either chosen or eliminated from being a prospective wife. They exited the limo, and were met by the Queen and their brother Alex.

"Hannah, Darling, I didn't expect to see you here,'' said the King
"With all due respect, I am your wife, can't I see you off?" She replied.
"Of course Hannah, I'll see you soon, darling. I Love You. Alex, take care of the Palace while I'm gone. And now that Carla's pregnant you'll need to keep her off her feet as much as possible. I'm so proud to be an uncle."
"Alright, alright, Bub, go on and go. I'LL miss you," replied Prince Alexander.

"Brie let's go."

With that the Princess was off on her adventure, Would she be the next Empress? Only time would tell.

Nosberg Castle was big, not quite as big as Chistchruch Palace in Maron, but still quite impressive. Her Royal Highness, Princess Brianna, of Christchurch, Santiago, and Dunedin, stood at the foot of the long stair case that was curved around both sides of the atrium. A short stubby man who was one of the servants of the palace, walked toward her and gently bowed, before speaking.

"Your Royal Highness, it is an honor to have you here at this Castle," He said.

"It's my pleasure," she replied.

He then guided her to the dining hall in which, there was the Emperor already seated. The servant, knocked on the door, and proclaimed with a loud voice.

"By the Grace of God, Her Royal Highness, the Princess of Christchurch, Santiago, and Dunedin, Brianna of Maron."

Brianna thought to herself about how much she wanted to just be able to use the family name of Minks when she was announced, but then again, she was Royalty after all, and the House of Minks was one of the most respected Royal Families in the world, though there were others who would say that the House of Minks was just as respected as the others.

Brianna said quietly to herself before entering into the hall,"In the House of Minks, being a Princess is a profession, not a privilege."

She strode gallantly into the hall and sat down at her appointed spot, waiting for the other guests to arrive.

The Emperor himself strode into the room. He was wearing a military uniform, that of The Imperial Maldamar Foreign Militia. The uniform was a dark yellow color, with a forest green collar. It was a tunic uniform, so the collar was stand. he wore around his neck the Imperial order along with a Yellow and red tricolored sash. he wore 5 military medals and many elaborate orders. he saw the princess and walked over. He said "hello princess brianna of maron, i recognize you from your picture." he kissed her hand

"Your Majesty, what a beautiful palace you have," exclaimed Princess Brianna.

The Emperor had just entered the room and kissed her hand, something that she had only dreamed about a few days before. She was overjoyed to be here in Nosberg Castle, and His Majesty the Emperor could sense it.

"Your Majesty, I hope that over the next few days and weeks even that we can get to know each other and that posibly spend the rest of our lives together," She said.

They sat down, prepared for dinner.

They sat down, prepared for dinner.

"thank you. i appreciate your compliment, i had to install some new windows and update the chapel. It used to be a throne room, but that's only necessary at the main palace. i installed a rose window, and a trypitch on the altar." he said. He looked at her and said "the other guests havent really arrived. would you like to go into my study for a drink?"

"Of course your Majesty."

She got up, her red dress flowing as she stood. Princess Brianna moved towards the door as His Majesty the Emperor was waiting to take her hand. They then walked towards the study. Princess Brianna, was in awe of the windows and the gold trimming on the top of the ceiling. When they arrived in the study, Brianna waited patiently for the Emperor to pour their drinks.

"Your Majesty, thank you for the drink," Brianna said.

"my pleasure princess" said the emperor, pouring her strawberry flavored liqeuer into a small crystal glass. "so tell my about yourself." he said.

"Well Your Majesty, I was born to Prince Alan and Princess Sharon on July 11th, 1993 in The Palace of Memphis, the home to whomever is the current Duke and Duchess of Memphis. I was the second child of the Prince and Princess, and the last child to be born to them. By brother Alexander was adopted by my mother and father. I am about to be 19 years old and I am a part time model. I am , as you may know, just like the rest of my family, am a member of the Church of Maron, which is an Tridentine Rite Church. I do occassionally go clubbing now and then, however as of late, it doesn't interest me as much. I do like to drink especially when it is the good stuff. I am a virgin, so there are no problems there I believe. i love to go out and spend time with friends of mine, and of course, I wouldn't be Maronian if i didnt like Aussie Rules Football. Our family owns the top team in Maron, something I can thank my Great-Great-Grandfather for. I attend the Royal Univeristy of Hamilton and will be graduating from there in a couple of semesters. As a Princess it was necessary for me to learn many languages and I speak five fluently and six I can translate. Your Majesty, is there anything else you would like to know," Brianna said.

A large black 4X4 drives up to the gates, 2 men step out with long pale faces, oppening the back doors of the 4X4 to allow Madam Hay and her advisor to step out, she quickly wipes some hair out of her face and back down to her shoulder,s where the straps of a long black dress lay and the emblem of her homeland, she then smiles looking up at the palace.

Her advisor says "Right this way madam, we must meet some of the other guests, do you not think? Maybe we shall even see the man of the hour himself."

She looks to her advisor, giving a slight nod. Before walking off towards the palace. Stepping up to the door, her protection team behind her, her arm linked around her advisor's. She clearly has a small ear piece in her ear, so that if anything goes wrong she can know about it within seconds.

The advisor knocks on the door, before awaiting entry.

Madam Hay whispers in his ear, "It's a bit too fancy to me. And definatly not hot enough."
She chuckles lightly, keeping a small, polite smile on her face.

soon in the ballroom, she could see about 30 guests, not any candidates. most stuffy old folks and military men.
Soon one of the later, a young Colonel named Achilles Zhengsmandh. He was son of the famous Baron Zhengsmandh Lu, a famous commander in His Imperial majesties army who was the hero of the ganosian war.
Colonel Zhengsmandh wore the order of the Gentlemen of the Sword which was the 5th in order of the 5 orders of gentlemen. the colonel's uniform was yellow, with silver collar and epaulettes. his naturally asian appearance was changed by his light blond hair, which he died.
He saw madam hay and said "guten-taag fraulein." he had attempted to impress her with his german

She looks around the room, with a small snort, "Is everyone this old in this country?"

She wipes the hair from infront of her face, as her advisor un-links arms with her, walking off with one of the guards towards some other guests. Madam Hay, remains with the Colonel, saying, "Oh, where are my manors, I am Madam Hay of the Vekta-Helghast Empire, next in line to the throne and one of the most powerful women in the country, and who do I have the honor or speaking with?"

Grimhilt Ybarra's parents have helped her prepare for months before this day. Officials of the Lonegate Palace, and even the King Valerius Crocetti when he has free time, assisted her parents as well. Grimhilt was often invited to official functions and state dinners to get her acquainted with formal occasions.

"So, now is the day that you will depart us and go to Nossberg Castle. We hope that you get what you desire, my daughter," said her father as Grimhilt finished one of her final preparations. "We love you so much."

"Thank you. Promise me both of you will be fine while I'm away."

"We promise. Now, your escorts from the Palace await outside the house. You better hurry up now," her mother finished.

Grimhilt hugged her mother and father and left their house, a decently-sized apartment room, taking up half a floor of the entire building. As she exited the apartment building, four men dressed in black suits assisted her way in the black mid-size sedan. The ride to the airport is uneventful, as she and her companions were all seated in silence. As for Grimhilt, part of her was excited, the other part anxious. She knew that this will be her big undertaking, especially as she is a commoner; not as if there are noblemen in this country, when all of these titles are earned here by election, she thought.

She looked forward on visiting the Zhenghou Wao Emperor's country again. It has been quite a long time...

Grimhilt Ybarra stepped outside of the black sedan, wearing a long and flowing cream-colored dress and was ushered inside the Nossberg Palace.

As soon as she's inside, one of the servants approached her, who bowed to her and began to speak.

"Ms. Ybarra, it is an honor to have you here at this Castle,"

She nodded her head in response, with a smile.

The servant escorted her to a great door, and as he entered, he introduced Grimhilt in a sonorous and highly audible voice.

"Ms. Grimhilt Ybarra, of Tedoka, former Chargé d'Affaires to Phing Phong, and adviser to the Tedokan Ministress of Foreign Affairs."

Grimhilt entered the hall with subtle confidence, and walked toward her assigned spot. She noted that the hall became somewhat quiet after her introduction.

[The Elven Imperium]

Duchess Ardrelia Vonzara sighed as she road in the diplomatic limousine. This was not what i considered my duty. Ardrelia thought to herself. When the minister of the Foreign ministry had ask her to go to the Empire of Zhenghou Wao dynasty, Ardrelia had thought it was to establish a embassy or something treaty. Now she found herself being a possible candidate for marriage to the Emperor of this country. Ardrelia didn't know what scheme was going on in the foreign ministry, but she would play alone with it till she found out more. The Emperor Wao Lun, leader of this country was a handsome fellow. Ardrelia had noted it when she was given some of the details of her mission here. Part of her dreaded this she was a warrior, not a diplomat. Ardrelia hoped that the emperor valved honesty.

The limo pulled up to the Nossberg Castle. The duchess step out of the limo. She was wearing the metal battle armor that she wore in the picture her government sent to Zhenghou Wao. Ardrelia wanted to state for the obvious what the Emperor was getting as a potential bride. Ardrelia was a Wood Elf warrior. If the emperor didn't respect that, She thought, then he wasn't a man worry to marry anyway.

Ardrelia waited at the foot of the entrance to the palace for some Zhenghou Wao delegate.

The guests were arriving, and Brianna was very confident in her ability. She had been asked by the Emperor about transfering to college there. She began talking to the other guests chatting with this princess, and then another hoping to figure out about them, in hopes of making some new friends along the way. She knew that she was here to win the Emperor's hand, but more importantly she was there to make friends.
