Tensions In Tesbineska Run High

Postby Tesbineska » Sat May 05, 2012 2:48 pm

OOC: Experanced Players Only, No God Modding.
IC: Background music: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JP-KmoYuZh0&feature=fvsr

The nation of Tesbineska is a relatively ignored country, after the economic collapse the nation fell apart, the north became a communist republic, the south kept the old democratic government, and the east falling to the rule of General Tso, a brutal tyrant trying to unite Tesbineska under one flag.

While the east and south began to thrive once more, the north economy was completely destroyed. The ruler of the north, Premir Koschev Boyatchev suffered a massive heart attack that left him stuck into a wheel chair at the age of 59, his son, Nikionor Boyatchev age 23 inherited the suffering north. It's been one day since he took power and the economy has improved by 10%. Yet, tensions still are high, although the break up was peaceful, the nation still remains on the brink of war. Small fights have happened, mostly in the Zon region were the boarders of the north, east, and south meet. The village of Wellsbrook took the worst of it, the People's Republic managed to evacuate the locals before guns fired leading the village a ghost town with wreckage of tanks, cars of various sizes, and a few planes and craters mar the land with the ghostly shells of buildings. The village was at the center of the four day war which was a stale mate for all three sides. This happened two years ago, a bitter cease fire is being held with the three nations.
All that changed though...

In the south, President Shirard Azbindiz was sworn in with the promise he would unite Tesbineska under one flag. The north was slowly becoming a target of the east and south, yet the new leader was determined not to let the north down. The military was the second strongest, only to the east which was the only nation to have a air force. The north however is still trying to retain peace to prevent anymore lives from being lost. However the new Premir knew full well that he had to have the military prepared secretly just in case. The one major difference between the east and the south was that the citizens of the People's Republic loved their leader, more than his father for helping with the economy. It would take a decade to build the industrial strength of the south and east, but the north had the largest army, 230,000 strong with roughly 1,200 T-20 main battle tanks, built in the north along with most other goods.

The east and south imported more than they exported, yet somehow they managed to keep a strong economy...

As this ran through the new Premir's head, a young adviser ran up and handed him a piece of paper. He carefully read it and slammed his fist on the old oak desk. "fuck!" He yelled out.

The bitter cease fire came to a end, the Zon region was captured by the south. The sneak attack killed 230 soldiers and 12 T-20 main battle tanks. The nearest force was barely hanging on but had managed to hault the south at Gazbroken, a small rural town.

He got a piece of paper from a drawer in his desk, took out a pen and wrote on the paper. He folded the paper into a envelope and sealed it. "Here, take this to General Tamoke Yen, he will know what to do. And post haste, that slippery bastard was waiting for this day!"

"Yes comrade leader, right away." Said the young adviser as he ran out of the capital and got into a small two door car. He turned the key as the car sputtered to life and drove off.

I thank you for your help. My top General is organising a counter attack to try and push the invaders out of my country. He has managed to stop the invasion for now, he is mobalizing the army as we speak. The bad thing is that all the People's Military has is just the army and the armored core which consists of only the T-20. The south has artillery, I am still in the process of rebuilding the military.

Meanwhile At Gazbroken...

Postby Tesbineska » Sat May 05, 2012 3:37 pm

The battle field was hell, the Southern artillery was pounding the defenses apart, yet the soldiers stood their ground in pride for their country. The brave General Yen staying in his field command center ordering tanks and soldiers were needed. Unfortunatly he couldn't get the solders he needs to defend the town. Knowing he was going to lose Gazbroken he scanned the map to find something to give him a advantage. He noticed another larger city in which the Rinde river ran through, the city was Tenvinea, a larger city of about 213,700 citizens. Just as he figured out a new place of defense a shell hit 10 feet away from the general's tent, shrapnel ripped holes in the tent and the general's left leg. He fell down on the ground as a few soldiers ran into his tent "Sir, we got 12 southern M1 Abrams tanks heading for us! We can't hold out here anymore!"

"V-very well, here, give me that radio, I need to make a call."

"Yes comrade general."

The soldier handed him his radio and the General ordered the three bridges in the city to be riged to blow in thirty minutes. The remaining 2,400 soldiers and 7 T-20 main battle tanks tried to hold off the invaders as the rest of the army retreated to Tenvinea. The general stumbled into his jeep with a massive blood stain on his left leg. He was the last person to leave as the brave defenders stood their ground and tried to hold off the invaders. Even though the defenders were crushed by the south, the bridges were able to be blown to make a natural barrier as 300 T-20 tanks took up positions on the northern bank along with 45,000 soldiers.

General Yen pulled up in his jeep then passed out with the amount of blood loss. Luckily he was stabalized in a field hospital and had the shrapnel removed. Even though they saved his life, he would have to use a cane for the rest of his life. The seige of Gazbroken had begun.

The noise of the quad engines of the Gutran H-1 tilt-rotor aircraft filled the air. The massive machines were the size of large airbusses, maybe larger, capable of carrying tanks without strain. 12 of them landed in northern Tesbineska, carrying the 81st Engineer Platoon, 120 men 24 T-101 Tanks, 24 I-9 IFVs, a C-241 Command Vehicle and 24 AH-59 Versatile Attack helicopters en route, their mission being to establish a firebase on the front-line to support the communist north and in particular to halt General Tso's advance north. On the ground, command general Teska Runiev awaited eagerly for the General of the northern faction to arrive so the exchange of plans and information could take place. She was given strict orders not to engage anyone until the base was established and reinforcements arrived. She wiped a bead of sweat from her brow and tied her hair back. A soldier ran toward her, holding a vid-com device, known by the Khanese Army as a Com-Tech. "Ma'am," He salutes. "Advisor Seminov has confirmed that the cash grant has reached Boyatchev's office." She smiled and took the com-tech, saluting as she accepted it. She selected the Military Advisor's name and was patched through to him. "Your Importance," She salutes. "This is great news." The advisor nodded, a fan could be heard in the background, giving the General the image of cold, making her mouth water. "General, have you contacted the Communist General yet." She shook her head. As she went to speak again, the chopper engines fired up and she couldn't hear her own voice. She looked into the distance at the choppers and when she looked back, the Advisor had written "Call me when you get him." on a post-it note. She nodded, saluted and turned off the device.

I plan on uniting Tesbineska under one flag, that of freedoms including the freedom to own your own business and land. Communism is weak an pathetic, I am merely trying to restore some decentcy and class to the north. I won't stand by as the north builds military strength and furthermore, they are building their military, the only logical move was to strike first before the north could.

The battle was in it's infantcy, yet a few of the Abrams managed to arrive early and unfortunatly picked off a few T-20's in the process. How ever General Yen was optimistic once he saw the artillery being set up. Now if the allied artillery could destroy the south's artillery, the tide of battle would change. But we can't be too optimistic. I hid a few tanks and snipers on a hill in the southern half of the city to pick off some of the south's soldiers. The battle was getting intense, shells rained down on the southern half of the city was vacant after the locals were evacuated.

Secretly a few hand picked units of vetran soldiers and tanks sneaked accross another bridge 12 miles down the Rind river. The group was assigned to sneak further into enemy held territory to destroy key supply lines. Rumor had it that a small depot was set up in the Zon region which was roughly 47 miles away. The mission was a suicide mission by any standard yet the soldiers still volinteered to go in despite knowing that fact. 23 soldiers and 4 T-20 tanks began the journey using the nearby forest as cover. The units moved as the sun began to set.

The defence went on without a hitch so far. Yet the enemy had yet to fully deploy, but rumors are that the military was stalled in finishing off the reminants that stayed back to give us time to blow the birdges. The last bridge we blew was Jankox Memorial bridge. A old bridge that was built 40 years ago. But it allowed the defense of the city. As even more reinforcements went into the city, another division was deploying in a hour, 300,000 soldiers and 500 T-20 tanks. The sad thing is that they are fresh from boot camp and raw fighters yet to be galvenized in battle. The small attack force continued on with out resistance. To the attack force commander he was suprised yet concerned if they were at the depot in the Zon region. He scanned his field map and found a cliff that over looked the Zon region were the spies supposidly found the depot. There was still a good day left to the depot but the commander pushed on as the sun fell into darkness. The lead tank carrying a dimed light to light the way while the other three turned off their lights and relied on a red light on the back of the lead tank, making a chain to prevent them from being spotted.

Just as the forign general finished her call, General Yin's jeep pulled to a stop. He got out with his stained cherry wood caine and walked to the forign general, General Yin was a tall and robust leader as he walked with his caine. "I am General Yin, commander of the Tesbineskian military. Might I inquire your name madam?" He said in with a heavy Russian accent.

"General Yin, I am Command General Teska Runiev, and I am in charge of Khanastan's operations in this region. We are here to aid in the protection of our comrades in arms and strengthen Marxist Visions in this region. I hope to discuss what we have intended to do for your defence." She grabbed a passing engineer on the shoulder and gave him the com-tech. "Inform the Advisor that Boyatchev's man is here." She turned back to the general. "Sir, if you don't mind, i'd like to take this inside. My mountain blood can't handle this damned heat." She signalled to a tent guarded by two men wielding A-91-1 rifles, a A-91 rifle modified by the Khanese army to fire longer with greater stopping power. As they went inside, the sound of a distance jet engine caught their ears.

The two sat in the cooled tent, a pitcher of iced water lay in the middle of the table. Runiev opened a dossier labelled top secret. "General Yin, it has come to our attention that your nation is in a difficult financial time. This fragmentation of the Tesbineskan state will hit a communist faction the hardest. Apart from our grant, we have more tactics that can help get your economy back on track. First of all, I would like to start off by saying that we have been in your position. A nation with different idealisms falling into disrepair. Our economy would fall apart if we didn't do what we did. Our currency was quickly becoming useless and void. We disposed of our old currency and brought in a new one. We suggest that you do this too. But there is a much more pressing matter." The general stood up and walked about the tent. She lead against the table and stared at Yin. "General, I, I believe that you should abandon hope in Tesbineska. Secure a border in the area you deem to be yours and call yourself free." She could see the uneasiness in his eyes. "You would be free from the war and could act as a unified people under your ideas." She stared at him for a long while. "General, do you have any thoughts?"

Khanastan is an entirely fictional PMT nation somewhat similar to a larger, more free version of China. We are a massive federal representative republic of half a billion people with a self-sufficient, world-dominating economy. NS stats are not used. Use our Factbook instead.
Call me Khan. I've been here a while. I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I think people should treat people like they want to be treated themselves. If you want to know more you're going have to buy me a drink or get to know me better, otherwise i'll stop being such a mystery.
Merry crisis one and all.

ON THE FRONT SGT PETRENKO 1ST MARINE CORPS
We were expecting a southern counterattack, only a bit smaller. We had the rest of the 1st marine corps (1500 men 150 tanks) and the 1st Close Range Artillery Battalion (540 crew 200 men 270 mortars) They attacked feircly with no retreat. They had about 1000-3000 men attack with no tanks or artillery support. They were easily cut down but did return fire once they found cover. They set up mg's and killed alot of the artillery battalion and a few of the soldiers under my command, but the news back home was better, everything was fine and no objections or protests to the war. Casualty Reports Sarhey- 324 dead 87 wounded South Tesbinska 300-1200 dead Unknown nuber of wounded. We were told we are going to move out in the morning while the 9th 5th and 6th infantry will drop in along with the 3rd and 7th artillery battalion, then we will push in and take as many cities and towns along our way to the capital along waiting for the Tesbinskans and the SSO.

OOC: Don't god mod, a casualty report for both the enemy and your side is god modding.
IC:
The small unit managed to elude patrols to find the depot, the depot was massive and crawling with enemy soldiers. The commander noticed something interesting, in their haste to make camp, they put the fuel and ammo dumps together. He smiled and told the most skilled gunner to fire a shot at it. The gunner fired his gun with a loud bang. The commander watched for the possible light show.

Meanwhile...
The battle was fairly small, yet General Yen knew that the enemy would attack at a time when it's least expected. He had studied the book called "The Art of War". Most wars were won with skill and deception, he didn't beleive in luck but instead a skilled soldier. But the battles were very small, only a few tanks and soldiers, nothing substantial.
