The Ardenian Senate, Congress, People, and Supreme Court have given me the power to request a claim of land on the newly found island, and build an airport (OOC: the airport will quickly become a the town of Reinheim). Attached is a draw-up of the land we will claim.

Fort Reinheim (before the walls we're built):

There are 11 bastions like this one on the outer wall, 1 for each corner, the majority along the sides, and two side by side at the gatehouse, the only entrance, they are only on the outer wall except for one in the center acting a the flight control tower. The walls are 2 barriers high and have wire mesh holding in a thin kevlar lair which holds in the filler of sand and rock.

Based at the Fort, 400 men of the 18th heavy armor and the entire 5th Marine Battalion of 3,876 men is deployed to protect the claim, along with 4,800 civilians there for numerous reasons including, scientific, TV news reporters, NorthSea Oil and Gas employees looking for oil, there is even a few on base restaurants, 200 are a volunteer police brigade. All living in improvised shelters built by the military out of sand bag walls with tent roofs, though at this point many are constructing houses and buildings.

I updated the map to make my land look nicer and also show where the first city is being built.

Today, some of the greatest builders and designers of Brazzland's private industry are being flown into the new found state, which has been named by the government 'Cascada'. Cascada's first city, Solace is being built. After a few months of building, the first few thousand volunteers will be able to live in the city. From there, we plan on building some towns on the shoreline.

The Empire of The Great Lunar Accession

The Government of TGLA has arranged to send 10,000 settlers and 1,000 soldiers to the colony of TGLA, now commonly known as Orbemnocte. Plans for a city have been approved and building has started. The city's name is still under debate, and thus landmarking will be done at a later time.

While the land in the middle of the colony has been set aside for the building of the city, crops have started to be grown around the colony. Currently, the only crops are a native variety of corn, which has been tested and found safe for consumption.

The corn is now called Orbemnocte Corn, after the colony.

To anyone and everyone interested in NorthSea Oil, you will be happy to learn that NorthSea has discovered a reserve of a couple hundred million tons of crude oil all under the colonial holdings on the "Green" Isle. NorthSea has already begun drilling and in some area's pumping the oil out, there is currently a job search going on for hired PMC's that we will purchase to back up Ardenhelm's own boys in green.

Dear Mr. President:

We have responded to your request to military aid and we will aid you by deploying troops to your claim. We shall deploy the Canuckistani 1st Division totalling 15,000 soldiers to the area. The Canuckistani 3rd Special Forces regiment shall also be deployed containing 1,500 soldiers. We will also have support staff joining them, along with the 2nd Canuckistani airforce wing armed with the latest Canuckistani aircraft and a carrier group on standby in case a war does come about. The troops shall be brought by transport plane to the Reinheim airport and we will set up a base just outside of the city and in an undetermined location near the borders of your nation.

The loudspeaker crackled into life, "All soldiers, please report to your aircraft for departure." The five thousand soldiers departing Soviet Canuckistan that day boarded the 10 Canuckistani Air Force T-12 transport planes on the tarmac to go to Reinheim. Inside, the soldiers chatted eagerly as they had not seen any action in years. The T-12's sped up slowly on the runways of the base and took off, flying in formation to be joined by fighters from the carrier group Soviet Canuckistan had sent.

10 hours later
Inside the planes the same message was being repeated, "Ladies and Gentlemen, we are preparing to land in Reinheim, fasten your seat belts and enjoy, thanks for flying Air Canuckistan." The planes landed hard on the tarmac at Reinheim, in a scene that would continue for days, ferrying over 25,000 personnel from Soviet Canuckistan. The troops all got ut ad quickly went into formation for review by Soviet Canuckistan's generals. Then they began to march out to the new base, which was really just a tent city for the meantime.

Hmmm seems like an interesting RP, my held is filling with ideas, could you perhaps make room for my colony to get a little water access west of the light red colony, nothing too big, but not small either.
