Why not play as Spain. You get:

China was also the largest economy in the world at this time, as well the largest country (this is 1300 right?).

here are the asian factions:
Japan (taken)- you have japan, and the koreas.
the Mongol empire- a stretch of land from mongolia to 900 miles of moscow.
china- what china is today, and the countries surrounding it.
Khmers- Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar.
Mughal empire- all of india. except for goa.
Portugal- Goa. that's mumbai!

now, the only way through toeurope from asia is through russia, ok? no arabia, as i'm not sure about the countries at that time.

and for the americas, here are the details. this also affects european factions.

spain- florida, mexico, honduras, costa rica, venezuela, panama, cuba, hispaniola, colombia.

france- martinique, guadeloupe, louisiana, which in fact stretches very far north.

portugal- Rio De Janeiro.

no native factions, there realistically is not going to be that many people.

Thank you! If you wanted an independent Belgium, you would have needed a RP from 1814 onwards, after the Napoleonic Wars.
