Strangely enough, Nekos are used for the mountain regiments. Tengu, on the other hand, are preferable for air combat. A creature with wings will hold a sensory advantage over a land based creature when piloting an aircraft. It's already their nature to fly.

Oh and BranReich, I deployed Valkyria along with the ground forces. I must warn you, their Lance's specialty is primarily anti-armor.

This is how Valkyries look like.

They project a blue aura that protects them from damage, but lowers their stamina in the process. The more shot up they get, the more tired they become, until they snap out of Valkyrie mode.

Humans get boring after a while. I might actually invest in some Strike Witches .
Although, I have no independent Air Force, just a Joint Aerial Command which combines both the Impeiral Army and Imperial Navy Aerial Units.

That's like, the branch with the largest budget in my nation. The Navy gets the second lowest.

Army gets second highest, because sexy awesome Valkyries.
