Extra-planetary usage would be reference/calling on troops. Nothing to do with other players whatsoever. So yes, just keeping it on the planet. Though would I be allowed to use the airships/voidships in atmosphere?

I wouldn't be a militaristic empire, but would side with them as long as they aren't slavers, socialists, or complete and utter facists.

I can do either. Think of me as the "benevolent empire", having suffered under a corrupt monarchy a new one was established along with an Imperial Senate and Imperial Advisory. My nation intensely dislikes slavers, facists, and socialists, but will tolerate facists and socialists to defeat a common enemy.

I think I am the only country which is remotely close to "freedom-loving democracies", though it actually works more like a benevolent dictatorship.
Jaggerlonia might be close too.

I think the backstory heavily depends on when the "punk" technologies become available. If they are a relatively recent things, then maybe the emerge of these technologies broke the balance of power in the past, and we new countries (or reformed successfully old countries) started to rebuild a new order according to our will, and conflicts ensure.

Well, I can compile the land claims of people, though they will have to colour it themselves so that I can colour it according to their colouring.

It would be best if you can draw the approximate line of your border on the map, since otherwise I might miss what you intended to be your land.
I wonder if we should set limits on how large a piece of land we can claim?

I tried drawing it and i failed majorly just imagine Dragonia including these African countries XD = { Kenya sideways to Congo downwards to south Africa, thus encompassing the countries down with them}. I based the territories off a fiction I read where the British empire had to divide its empire into 4 regions and South Africa was redistricted into all that territory. It also became the capital because a rampant string of meteors destroyed Britain and europe.

I'll take grey, and get as much of the Ukraine and Belarus as possible. Just keep it landlocked (no access to oceans), and if you could put the circle icon from my flag in the center of the mass it would be nice.

I'd like Australia and southern Indies (New Guinea and South/Central Indonesia) please. Don't want to claim too much, but it needs to fit in the factbook so I don't need to make another nation.

Rough factbook geography: Small sub-continent surrounded by smaller islands, and an untamed but prospective land to the north.

Would I be able to handle the climate of the region myself?
