Summary: Before we lost contact with New Lesic, and upon Martilia's rejection of the ceasefire and surrender, it was the Acting Commander's intention to get as many civilians out as possible before the sea was cut off. As of today I think about 50,000 Hobbiest Republic citizens are trapped within New Lesic, unable to escape. The offer of Surrender was an exceptionally weak gesture on the part of AC Jeeves in an effort to preserve life. He'd been placed in command after the Cardinal I placed in command withdrew from her position due to... genocidal tendencies. There are contingencies they put in place and it seems that the worst case scenario is happening. If Martilia has air dominance I gravely suspect she is already dead. They're survivors Allanea, all the survivors we could save from the Soviets, the last to leave would be those less afraid to die. They've already lost so much. The slavers have taken their families and loved ones. If we cannot convince them to stop, it may be better to put them from their misery. I am sorry that I cannot personally relieve them from their suffering.

"Tonight we finally have a spot on the war in Asbekistan, now mind you the images you're about to see are both graphic and horrifying in nature. sorry that the execs decided to put this at everyone's dinner time, but they thought it to be most important." Newscaster 1.
The video cuts to the clips recorded from when the Republic first landed at Old Lesic, the streets red with blood, profanities scrawled in blood and gore, and dead bodies everywhere.
" That was what we arrived to, according to the Asbekistan Census online, prior to the Anarchist uprising nearly 700,000 people lived in Lesic, when we arrived there were only about 7,000 survivors. Using Lesic as a base point for the terror index the Republic decided to send another fleet early on in the war to secure another port. Saint John Harbour. This city was less ravaged by the Anarchists, but a different kind of question was raised."
Cut to video of SJH, the HRAF moving in with the armored car, buildings completely devoid of civilians, only a smattering of anarchists, and all of them coming from deeper within the city.
" We had to ask ourselves, what happened to these people? Survivors from Lesic said that not all 693,000 were murdered, but that a large number of youths and able bodied people were carted off as slaves to some unknown destination. Given the brutality in Lesic and the absence of people in SJH, we can only surmise that similar things happened throughout what eventually became Soviet Asbekistan." Newscaster 2 declared.
" For some time, columnists wondered why we were propping up a self-declared dictatorship posing as a monarchy. It turns out that 'Prince' Santos was once Mayor of the town of Guata, a small coastal city which fended off the Anarchists and slavers throughout the war. Santos came to an agreement with the 'soviets'. In reality they are a Slaver Alliance using communism, anarchy and socialism as a cover for their depravities. Upon the declaration of a ceasefire, the Republic ceased its advance and withdrew from Saint John Harbour. Since we'd not yet been accepted into the Coalition, we were forced to accept New Lesic as a haven for refugees from these 'Soviets', rather than as a base from which to continue our great crusade." Newscaster 1 said.
" This ends the report on the first part of the Asbekistani Genocide and Enslavement. Please join us in one weeks time for an update on the situation."

Summary: While we appreciate the statement of changed allegiance, and are willing to accept your assistance in bringing down the slaver nation, we request that you permit us to field some of our own men in New Lesic. This would be in order to move and evacuate the remaining survivors. The chain of command may have been significantly disrupted. While we accept your change of allegiance, it stands to reason that, survivors in New Lesic are likely unwilling to trust your soldiers. As such we ask that you clear a passage to the air field so that the evacuation can be carried out for the survivors. I think they've been through enough.

Summary: Acting Commander, should you still live, I am ordering you to gather any and all survivors within New Lesic. Martilia it seems has finally come to its senses. We will be airlifting you and the other survivors out to our fleets, which are closing with the shore as we speak. If you, whom receives this message are not the AC but have sufficient rank in the line of command to order the survivors, carry out this mission from your High Pope. Stand down soldier, your relief is here.

We have now finished marshaling our troops, and will be making our way towards Asbekistan in the next coming days. At this time, we request intel on where our forces may best assist in the struggle against the Asbekistanian threat. I will await your communique. We estimate it will take nearly a week to arrive in the area, but we will push our ships to their limits in order to arrive in as little time as possible.

Summary: It would be highly recommended that your forces assault Guata or Saint John Harbour, as we have or can easily obtain information on those cities. Additionally, there are guerrilla fighters present in the Guatan region, making it an easier attack than say, Saint John's. We lost contact with one General Valkyrie of the HRAF. It's assumed that he's in command of the rebellion in former Lesser Asbekistan near Guata.
