OOC: Yeah, that's why I've made mention of that to Tezdrian and Courezzia. Generally, the policy for nations is to use the general policy taken by most NS nations as you mentioned. If they choose not to do so, then I'll post what they send, but will probably ask for a reduction in troop numbers for RPs should we go that route.

OOC: That's probably best, as I think 21% would be farmers armed with sticks , maybe stones and the general's will be wearing daggers. The navy would consist of 1 rowboat (if they are lucky) and the airforce would be a paper plane.

Greetings, everyone. To help keep member nations informed about changes and upcoming events, we'll be releasing Status Updates periodically to help keep track of things. In the future, they may take the form of news broadcasts or official communiqués. This is the first status update for LOTUS members.

I'd like to personally welcome our new members to LOTUS! In the past twenty-four hours, we've welcomed the Allied States of Azura and Montemayor, the Dictatorship of Grittonia, the Empire of Courezzia, the Empire of Hobbit, the Hispanic Capitalist Union of Sorgan, the Protectorate of Stevensburg Southland, the Provisional Republic of Tezdrain, and the Religious Democracy of Trivval to LOTUS. In addition, I'd like to take a moment to recognize Hobit, Courezzia, and Tezdrain as the newest members of the LOTUS Security Council. I'd like to thank everyone for helping get this coalition off the ground. At our current troop levels, we've already amassed a sizable Peacekeeping Force. Good work, everyone!

Production on the current LOTUS Military Uniforms has already begun, and distribution is underway as we speak. In the next few hours, we'll begin production of weapons and vehicles to serve as placeholders until the full Security Council can vote on permanent materiel. Also, I'll be posting a pair of new shields for you to use if you so choose during LOTUS activities: one for member nations, and one for Security Council members. Officially, you may also use the current alliance-wide Shield at the bottom if you'd like as well.

Another development in the next few hours is the beginning of facility establishment protocol. Any member nation that would like to house a LOTUS military facility, please indicate your desire to do so by posting the request along with the City (and state/province if applicable) that the base or installation would be housed in. A wide variety of facilities will need to go online sooner rather then later, so it'll be one of our more pressing priorities.
