The LOTUS Covenant (League of Organized Tactical & Ubiquitous Security) is a multinational defensive alliance designed to protect its member nations and its allied coalitions from invasion, rebellion, and occupation. The LOTUS Covenant is a “blind allegiance”; its member nations will overlook the internal policies and practices of its Covenant allies in the name of international security and defense. This Covenant has been established under the belief that every government has the inalienable right to govern itself and its peoples whilst free from the oppression and tyranny of an occupying force.

This Covenant is not an offensive alliance, nor is it a body that sanctions the unauthorized occupation of a territory for the purposes of geopolitical conquest or militant imperialistic expansion. It is a Peacekeeping and Security Force, designed to liberate the occupied and to protect the defenseless. Members of this Covenant shall come to the aid of other member nations who call upon us for help in their hour of need. This Covenant shall not bend, nor break, nor waver in its resolve to protect those that trust in us.

Nations who wish to join the LOTUS Covenant must agree to follow the rules laid out in Section II of the Treaty of the Confederation of Allegiance (La Confédération de Fidélité). This treaty serves as the acting Charter of the LOTUS Covenant, so it would probably help to give it a good once over. After you have read and agreed to uphold the principles dictated in this charter, submit your nation's application for entry into this alliance using the requisite form provided below. Your nation will receive notification regarding the reception of your application within twenty-four hours of its submission, barring any unforeseen circumstances. A subsequent form shall be placed for nations wishing to apply for a position on the Security Council of the LOTUS Covenant.

As of 0500 on Monday, September 14th, 2009, the Peacekeeper Forces of LOTUS will begin organizing for training exercises to help mold the force into a capable military authority. To help facilitate the formation of the LOTUS Military, the following uniforms have been created for the various branches and vocational positions of LOTUS, and will begin production immediately. These uniforms are meant as place holders until the Security Council can vote to keep the current uniforms or to replace them with new ones. Until such a time as the Security Council's remaining vacancies have been filled, the following uniform sets will be employed by LOTUS Peacekeeper Forces. They will not be used by your conventional military forces, unless you lodge a formal request with the Security Council to adopt any of the following uniform sets as your own.

LOTUS Army Uniforms

The Standard Army Uniform is the primary attire for the ground troops in the Peacekeeper Force deployed by LOTUS. Almost all of the logistical supply corpsmen would be using this as their basic kit. The Army Combat Uniform would be used by forward-moving troops at the head of a military advance, though you would also see these kits used in a defensive manner, also. The Army MOPP Suit is the bio-hazard suit that ground troops would be wearing while deployed by LOTUS. Though the face mask is not pictured, the suit officers additional protection from chemical and biological agents that would otherwise immobilize our ground forces. The MOPP Suit is easily convertible to the Army Combat Uniform, and vice versa. As with the Navy, Air Force, and S.R.S. Corps Uniform sets, the Army Junior Officer Dress is defined by its gold shoulder stripes, denoting the wearer as an officer of the LOTUS Peacekeeper Force. The Army Engineer Officer Dress and the Army Medical Officer Dress, like their counterparts in the other branches of LOTUS, share almost everything in common with the Army Junior Officer Dress, with the addition of a burgundy sash (for an Engineer Officer) or a gold sash (for a Medical Officer) tied off around the right thigh. All Junior, Engineer, and Medical Officers wear brimmed hats with their uniforms, not tactical helmets. The Army Command Dress is the uniform worn by the top-ranking officers amongst the ground troops of LOTUS. They wear long sleeved dress suits with dress hats.

LOTUS Navy Uniforms

The Navy Combat Uniform would be used by contingencies of Naval Marines that are pushing onto land from a sea-based invasion. These kits may also be present on the sailors of naval vessels during periods of military action. The Navy MOPP Suit is the bio-hazard suit that sailors and Marines would be wearing while deployed by LOTUS. Though the face mask is not pictured, the suit officers additional protection from chemical and biological agents that would otherwise immobilize our sea-faring forces. The MOPP Suit is easily convertible to the Navy Combat Uniform, and vice versa. As with the Army, Air Force, and S.R.S. Corps Uniform sets, the Navy Junior Officer Dress is defined by its gold shoulder stripes, denoting the wearer as an officer of the LOTUS Peacekeeper Force. This kit would be worn by most agents in the field, especially on covert operations (Valkyrie OPs). The S.R.S. Corps Combat Uniform would be used by contingencies of S.R.S. Corps Scouts and Reconnoiters operating with forward moving contingencies of ground troops, paratroopers, or marines. The S.R.S. Corps MOPP Suit is the bio-hazard suit that scouts and reconnoiters would be wearing while deployed by LOTUS. Though the face mask is not pictured, the suit officers additional protection from chemical and biological agents that would otherwise immobilize our scouting forces. The MOPP Suit is easily convertible to the S.R.S. Corps Combat Uniform, and vice versa. As with the Army, Navy, and Air Force, the S.R.S. Corps Junior Officer Dress is defined by its gold shoulder stripes, denoting the wearer as an officer of the LOTUS Peacekeeper Force. The S.R.S. Corps Engineer Officer Dress and the S.R.S. Corps Medical Officer Dress, like their counterparts in the other branches of LOTUS, share almost everything in common with the S.R.S. Corps Junior Officer Dress, with the addition of a burgundy sash (for an Engineer Officer) or a gold sash (for a Medical Officer) tied off around the right thigh. All Junior, Engineer, and Medical Officers wear brimmed hats with their uniforms, not tactical helmets. The S.R.S. Corps Command Dress is the uniform worn by the top-ranking officers amongst the ground troops of LOTUS. They wear long sleeved dress suits with dress hats.

The LOTUS Military Police Uniform is the primary kit used by the Military Police of LOTUS. The primary kit is equipped with the same Kevlar body armor used in the Army, Navy, Air Force, and S.R.S. Corps Combat Uniforms. The LOTUS Medic Uniform is the standard armor-protected kit used by Medics from all branches of LOTUS. They are denoted by the Red Cross logos on their arm guards and leg guards. The LOTUS Chaplain Uniform does not carry main-body armor, but is easily recognizable by its white shoulder stripes and the religious denomination symbol on the leg guards. The LOTUS Engineer Uniform is the standard uniform for Engineers from all branches of LOTUS. The LOTUS Combat Engineer Uniform shares almost all traits with its non-combat counterpart, with the notable addition of arm and leg guards and body armor. The LOTUS Senior Command Officer Dress is the dress uniform worn by the senior commanders of LOTUS that sit on the Security Council representing their country.
