«It seems that your people are experts in labyrinths, your Highness ! So you say that they can be moderately dangerous to invaders? Such a pity…” Duke Heinrich paused for some moments, as if he was meditating about something. Then, for a brief second, he gave a look to his wife, that was chatting with the Empress. “But it could be possible, under some circumstances, for a newcomer to get lost in a labyrinth for a long, long term of time, but and the same time not being exposed to any real danger? It could be theoretically possible? I’m speaking about real physical dangers, of course. Incommodities or frights doesn’t count, and they could be even be… desirable”

"Yes, that is very much possible. Typically, the deeper one goes, the more dangerous it becomes. So, if one were to become lost early on, one would experience very little danger."

Seriousness is a Sin to my people! RP-ing a very erratically cultured people, bound to cause conflict somehow. I am RP-ing a race of walrus-people. If you do not like this fact, then just imagine them as jolly fat people with mustaches. It's basically the same thing anyway.
Madness is the Key. Arson should be legalized, and robbing stagecoaches is good for the economy.

“I see… so we would need said person to get lost and the very beginning to avoid any harm.” Heinrich meditated how to pose the following question, and found no way to do it in a subtle way. The idea he had in mind was complex, and he had no other way that to explain it if he wanted King Lysandus advice. Giving again a quick look to his wife, to make sure that she was not hearing them, he said: “Take the following question as an intellectual challenge: imagine a hypothetic situation in which you want to lure a materialistic, egocentric and arrogant person to one of your labyrinths, and them make that person to get lost in that labyrinth for some amount of time, enough for the former companion of that person to explore the rest of your magnificent country. Although you don´t wish any physical harm to the person trapped in the labyrinth, a certain degree of distress that humbles her a bit is more than welcomed. On the top of it, once this person gets free of the labyrinth, it must look like if all her misfortune had been caused just by bad luck, with no one to blame for it. So that´s the challenge I pose to you, your Highness: how could you do it such a thing?”

Lysandus laughed, "Oh yes. Such a thing could be arranged! Certainly! I'd say the best way to do so would be to organize a tour. Have the labyrinth-guide 'accidentally' get the person of interest lost a bit. With the guide there, traps and monsters could be handled in a very... nonlethal-yet-startling way?"

"Eurarcta is a hard land," said King Lysandus, "The Labyrinths are masterful works of architectural beauty, and their beauty is only heightened by the ecology that has been established within. The difficulty, in turn, hardens those Eurarctans whom challenge the depths of the Labyrinths. Through this, that adventurer can work to perfect himself. Additionally, the labyrinths can provide housing to those who need it, and protection in times of battle."

“Wonderful!” said Duke Heinrich “I you can help me with this little thing, you will have the eternal gratitude of the Duke of Custozza. So we can plain the details later, when we will be far of… inopportune ears” finished Duke Heinrich with a confidential tone of voice. “And apart of the labyrinths, you will consider the rest of your country dangerous? I have heard of the banditos that plague you ways… not that I´m afraid of them, of course.”

"Eh... the arrangement with the Banditos is... complicated. So long as they are paid they are safe. And staying away from Orfort's tundra is a good way to avoid them altogether. And if you come by air you can avoid the Pirates."
