[Old North Fish]

The King has announced a few modifications to the way the country was to be run. Since the military budget was more than half of the total gov't expenditure, Xavius declared the minimum age to be 17 officially. Also, the draft designs for a ONF-Iievian-Izsha underground, underwater subway has been completed and a contract drawn up. The King has dispatched messengers to bring it to Francis I and Queen Azshara to read and sign. If the contract is passed, then the Infrastructure Board will begin construction with the assistance of Homeland Naval Constructions Ltd.

Additionally, Xavius III extends a hand of alliance to Iievius, Izsha and the Fifth Dominion. (Not all, but just whoever will)...

[The Fifth Dominion]

The 'Palace Guard' in Old North Fish had been ordered to kill Xavius. The "Guard" entered the throne room, where Xavius was chatting with his wife. The Guard opened fire, but Xavier jumped behind his throne. Alucinor, on the other hand, was dead. The "guard" tried to finish Xavier off, but the real Palace Guard, alerted by the noise came and captured them. An interrogation was underway.....

The streets were filled with wailing. 4 dead and 1 missing out of 8 of the descendants of Edward and Quinmil's Royal Families...

"Oh Xavius", they screamed. "Do something! Our people are frightened!!"

[The Fifth Dominion]

The "Palace Guards" were in the Old North Fish interrogation chamber. After hours of torture, they finally admitted that they were working for Archbishop Immoralatus of the Fifth Dominion...... Hopefully, nobody would declare war on the Interstellar Imperium....?

[Old North Fish]

No, said Xavius. The Advisor Dennesleigh shook his head sadly. This was one careful king! First a controlled monarch and now an nervous overly careful one!!

I will ask to ally with the Fifth Dominion...after all, the plotter was independent from the ruling family?

"Perhaps Iievius will be friends too?", thought Xavius.
"Only time will tell!!!", growled Dennesleigh...

[The Fifth Dominion]

The Fifth Dominion wishes to point out that the assassin Immoralatus was acting alone, and independently for his own gain. We also advise the Papacy to remove him from the College of Cardinals and Excommunicate him. The 3rd Regiment of the Foreign Legion will be sent to Old North Fish to help prevent further assassinations, while the 2nd regiments will now start hunting Immoralatus.

[Iievius]

Theodore had passed over his nephews to his cousin's care. It appeared that the rest of the royal family had been attacked before they could take sanctuary. Anyway, this suited Iievius fine. However, the children seemed to believe it was their uncle Xavius who had done the deed. Of course, he believed this too, but they must have drawn their own conclusions. For now, they were to be raised as Iievians, through and through until the line came to them, as it inevitably should and would. Xavius was an usurper- royal rulings declared that if the heir died with children, the heir presumptive, in this case Xavius, was not given the throne and instead the heir apparent would become king. With his nephew yet to be installed and not even a regency called for, it was obvious that this was Xavius' doing.

Xavius III paled when he heard the news. He hastily ushered his family out of the palace and commanded them to be sent to Adi Rajen. After waiting 2 hours, he left too. Without a note, Old North Fish was now without a ruler, a crown sitting on the bed and a note carrying four words:

[The Fifth Dominion]

The Fifth Dominion Foreign Legion's 3rd Regiment was stationed at the Fishian Royal Palace, ever watchful. It was quiet, and just as well too. Some raw recruits became undisciplined and starting sitting down and talking amongst themselves.....

[Iievius]

The boys had been trained for the past few weeks to become strongly patriotic. Of course, not to Old North Fish. To Iievius. To the country which had given them safe haven and safe harbour, the country who their Uncle supported, the country that gave them everything they could ever need. Soon, when Theodore IV took power, he would be a supporter of Iievius, his true home.

The shadows flickered hungrily, licking greedily against the bottom of the door. Behind the obstructing block, warm light provided comfort to the small royal family resting inside. Xavius was en-route to Adi-Rajen, and the train was speeding to it's final destination. Having secured his place as regent to avoid unrest, the man was at ease. Suddenly, the lights dimmed and the room fell into darkness. No longer an obstruction, the door provided welcome cover as Xavius pulled out a small handgun. Too late. The silent shadows slipped, sliding, behind the mans body as a silent thump heralded the dawn of a new day.

Archbishop Immoralatus. Where was that man?

The Foreign Legion's 2nd Regiment was now actively patrolling their homeland, hunting for the demented priest. For now, command of the 2nd Regiment was handed over to the Iievian authorities, though all the Commissioned Officers and a few NCOs were Dominionite.

Theodore supposed he was now regent of this place, with it's wimpy politicians and worthless rulers. It was his job to make a strong nation out of this mess. Sighing, he began.

Upon hearing the news that their beloved king and paymaster was dead, the 3rd Regiment of the Dominion Foreign Legion went up in open revolt. Windows were smashed, tables overturned, in the chaos, several teenage recruits found the opportunity to pinch female waitresses' backsides anonymously. "WE WILL NEVER ACCEPT THEODORE III AS KING!" Things would get ugly if the revolt wasn't suppressed....

Prince Chi Ajoi stared at the report his SIIRCTW agent had sent him. The country of Old North Fish was in uproar half of the royal line had been severed in less then a day. Unbelievably this entire plan was executed by the Archbishop Imoralatus... He ordered the SIIRCTW to lock down Castle Impal and checked where his wife and his two siblings were. That idiotic Archbishop might try to do the same thing in Davatria. He sent several quick messages to the Duke of Salviur and the Princess of Slethus. He called in an airborne regiment to be on standby. If the situation didnt stablise soon he would have to send in troops.

Then Theodore III killed himself, but not before turning the resurrection stone twice and wielding the Elder Wand...He screamed

Prince Chi had ordered the new 1st Armoured Infantry and LASER regiments to help aid the Fishian Nationals otherwise this might turn into a slaughter of civilians. The Battle Axe Walkers Crashed into the ashphalt runway quickly emerging into their scuttler form, above the Armoured Infantry slowly drifted down from the sky.....

[Iievius]

The military bases in Old North Fish were active with activity. The Iievians had never forgotten to keep watch on their neighbors after the betrayal, and the revolt at the moment was exactly what they had been waiting for. With Theodore the Third a regent, and by original royal mandate no less, Iievius now effectively ruled Old North Fish. Soon it was likely that the nation would be annexed into the Iievian Empire. But first, the revolt had to be crushed under their heel like some tiny bug. They moved out, quickly arriving at the palace, where the turbulence was strongest.

The Iievian military was also in a state of nervous energy. They were mobilizing forces to prepare for possible revolt from Fishians in Old North Fish. They had begun to gather a land army of around 2 million soldiers. Simultaneously, a call for three New Space Fleets from Polaris was made quickly. This revolt had to be crushed entirely, or Old North Fish would fall into chaos.

[The Fifth Dominion]

Sergeant Deen of the 3rd Regiment watched in awe as the Davatrian Battle-Axe Walkers walked down the street. "REINFORCEMENTS!!!!" he cried. There was a huge cheer from the 3rd regiment, who believed that the whole Davatrian Army had come to help them. Unfortunately, it was only 2 regiments......

[Iievius]

The Iievian Stalker Regiments scuttled out of the holding area quickly. Though bought from Izsha, they were highly effective as urban control, though their uses on the battlefield were now outdated. With the ability to scale all sorts of things, they were put to work in order to calm down the revolt from higher vantage points.

The Davatrians dared to interfere in internal conflicts without being asked? Theodore had been instated Regent by the mandate of Xavius himself, and the Iievians were outraged as were the loyal Fishians. They sent out a messenger to ensure the davatrians understood what they were doing here.

[Old North Fish]

Theodore III finished combing his hair. He stepped out onto the balcony.

"Friends. My new people. Also, Iievius. The assassinations that took place this past week have been devastating. I wish to say that I mean no harm. Iievius and Old North Fish are friends. Of equal status."

Theodore III's tone and clear handsome face won the hearts of the Fishians. Peace had been established.

[The Fifth Dominion]

"ARRGH! GIANT ROBOTS!"

6th Platoon looked up at where the young private was pointing and reached for their weapons.

"Calm down, and return to your posts!" said the pilot of the vehicle over a loudspeaker.

6th Platoon, acting in an undisciplined way, opened fire......

Lt. Iceshard commander of the Battle Axe Seraphs had picked a large spacial distubance, it seemed as if a fleet of Iieviun space craft was heading towards the area, Iceshard seriously doubted that the Iieviuns would notice the "peacekeeping"banners slashed across the Davatrian troops. Corpral Shade! Corpral Shade! We are get you men out of here, an Iieviun space fleet is heading here! "Well then just blast them all out of the sky, Lt. Listen to me Shade you idiot! This is probably 3 fleets of Iieviun space craft, and although we could probably just cut half of them to ribbons we'll be dead before we get them all...

Down Below
Cpl. Shade knew they were in trouble if even Iceshard was admitting that they might die. Quickly rallying his forces to the landing seraphs. Several of the Fishian troops started swearing. He wished he could give them the bird. Try using your goddamn rifles against spacecraft ya yobos.

3rd regiment stood down, finally accepting who was the rightful heir to the Fishian throne. Many, however, felt betrayed, and rejected their Fishian heritage, palnning on becoming Dominion citizens after their one-year service was over. With that, the 3rd regiment returned home, unmolested.

[Old North Fish]

The Royal Regent Theodore III will rule in the stead of Theodore IV until the blood-heir turns 17. Then, Theodore IV will choose whether to keep him in court or to send him back to Iievius.

The people of Old North Fish readily accept and gratefully honour the reign of Theodore III, who is expected to strengthen the technology, economy, sciences and culture of the Fishians.

They do, however, demand a prospectus and report on what Theodore III plans to do first up front!

The Old North Fish Defence Force went under review and a newly established structure/hierarchy and laws were changed. The amendment of the Welfare of Soldier Trainees Act 1972 meant that soldiers would no longer have 'locked' beds in which the soldier would have to stay in until the system unlocked the bed and a spring forced you to jump out at 4.45am. As to the Water Treatment Act 2002, the water will now have fluoride and other health-beneficial minerals like iron and zinc.
