The sounds of battle temporary surprised the Vorshkan Arforce.Many airplanes went down but their pilots were saved by troops on the ground.Due to the large force,the bombers were protected by 100 stealthh fighters and 50 MiG's who quickly started the counter attacker.


The landing ships were heavily hurt,but the troops landed safely.

Official word from the Chancellor...

The Cookish States hereby condemns any violent action against the Valkish people. We will seek legal and a possible military intervention if all forces other than our own do not cease and desist completely. The Cookish States stands as the only nation devoted to the well being of the Valkish ever since after the first war, we will stand by those who have shed blood alongside us, and will not stand for you imperialist animals looking to draw more. The Imperial Commonwealth's Courts, delighted to have another opportunity to wave the 'peace and liberty' flag, decided to issue another Judicial Memorandum, after approval from the cabinet; adding at the last moment an ultimatum... on the 'carrot and stick' principle. For instance, they leaked that they were considering an embargo, multi-element exclusion zone, and maybe even no-flight zones.

The Supreme Court and Cabinet of the Imperial Commonwealth commends the intent of The Cookish States. Our attention has been drawn to the idea that punishing a nation for defending itself with child soldiers by killing those children is a ridiculous miscarriage of Justice, and we will be investigating this action to see whether it falls under the category of self defence. Any comments would be welcome.

We continue to request and require that Valkstadt makes moves in the direction of honouring its treaties, namely a) democratic reform and b) no further child soldiers. If Valkstadt does so, then as a fellow sovereign state, we will assist them in protecting their borders, territorial integrity, sovereignty, etc. If they do not do so or start negotiating within 24 hours, we will be forced to start to consider more decisive action to ensure that Valkstad honours its international treaties.

My government as an Absolute Monarchy probably does not care too much about its conscripts and crams them on as few ships as they can afford.

My question is basically how (assuming a maximum of about 3000 troops per ship) do you get 300 journeys in 10 hours? Is that entirely realistic?

I don't think it is your job you inforce the treaty that I broke. It is between me and Zeiffelheim.

I should add that we've made it our job to interfere in the internal affairs of other nations. Including recognizing your government.

OOC My nation has bought them off of some very prolific arms manufacturers and volunteer fishing boats the boats are old and leaky and certainly not fit for battle, just being used to transport. The Empire has 2 carriers and 10 Battleships (rember battleships are outdated tech and so are MiG's. I am new to this so just give me some slack or suggest ways it could be done.

OOC: 10 what? And any convoys? Sophisticated state-of-the-art anti-submarine mechanisms in place? Air cover from carriers? CIWS? Missile defences? SAMs?

Oh, and most people get pretty annoyed when you start firing nuclear weapons. Libraria and Ausitoria in particular. Like very very annoyed. It's quite discourteous.

OOC As it was just an assistance force in till the Vorskans attacked it only had 100 MiG air cover each ship is fitted with a boffers anti air craft system from the 1950s (A cheap radar guided flak cannon) The 5 battle ships and the two carriers have advanced SAM sites as well as anti ATG missile counter measures, they also have good encrypted battle net system with radar gps and contact with each other and the emperor, submarine counter measures are almost none existent, lord Cyrils flagship has one nuclear depth charge (sorry have to use it we had them in the navy in the 80's). Anti ship is provided with MiGs with Exocet anti ship missiles. Because of my numbers of warships convoys are infeasible and are relaying on sheer numbers to get passed defenses.

Don't worry, your numbers are more reasonable than Vorshkans, and that sounds generally correct (although the fish won't like nuclear depth charges), although I am a little surprised that you don't have much defence against submarines. Evidently you haven't heard that our submarines are in the waters. That would be because we haven't leaked the information yet. Although with pre-70s technology, there wouldn't be much you could do against ours anyway.

OOC:Please consider that the NS world is much larger.My nation's industries made my weapons.So don't ask "where did you get the from". This ships were made because off the foreign help that arrived at Vorshka after the 1st Valkish War.

OOC: I am aware that the NS world is larger. My point was that if 7 billion people have 14000 ships, then 3500 ships need a population in the region of 2 billion, or such industrial capacity. But if you've done this already, that is entirely reasonable.

Incidentally, what are people deploying by way of radar? Our AEWS should be picking them up.

Morning A beach -Nationalist Territory. After the skirmish with the Vorshkans Admiral Cyril thought it would be best if the Imperial Guard were unloaded on the Valkan shore. He needed to do this quick he did not want to waste MiG's to engage the Vorshkans as the squadron that came back only 30% of it remained. His plan was simple to hold any attacking Vorshkans long enough to land at least some of his army. He had discussed his plan with the ground forces commander John Septim Prince of Greenwood and the emperors youngest son, he had agreed the landing began.

10 hours later. Soldiers climbed out of the landing craft, as they were in friendly territory they walked off the beach cheerfully and started brewing coffee and chatting. The engineers were busy ribbing the Boffers guns of the fishing boats and mounting them on the makeshift camp. Landing the tanks was however horrendous as they kept sinking in the sand, progress was incredibly slow. Although the men were cheerful the grizzled officers were fearing an enemy attack.

ooc is that good for a landing I will fix it if unrealistic it is based on a landing in the falklands war.

The Prime Minister, contemplating the problem of how best to be prepared to fight a war when wars aren't part of the nation's philosophy, suggested to the Cabinet that the time was ripe to issue another communique:

The Imperial Commonwealth officially condemns all nations that have rushed into fighting without negotiating properly first in the spirit of international peace and order in accordance with International Treaties and Conventions.

He then turned to consider possible war plans with the Minister of War. "Now," he asked, "what's the information on radars? The drones have had days to collect information by now."

The supply sergeant ticked off the last MBT to be loaded out of the troopships. He looked around the camp lines of tents as far as the eye can see, damn so thats what a million soldiers looks like turning around he saw two Imperial MiGs passing by doing a scouting run for the coming days. He saw BMP-1's have been unloaded and were bolstered in there number by volunteer truck drivers. A days rest and then too the capital.

Hans Volkstadt was just an ordinary Valkan farmer out on his fields this time he was planting potatoes for the villages next harvest he looked across the field to the road and saw a huge convoy of BMP 1's cruising down the road. The soldiers inside were in high spirits, as the only resistance was aimed towards the Maritime fleet and Maritime air-force. Hans walked casually up to the convoy and got talking with a soldier on the back of one of the BMP's the soldier spoke almost perfect Valkish, although no military information was said, the soldier gave Hans some food and beer for his family. Hans had a sigh of relief they really had come to save us.

The soldiers checked cleaned and cocked there ak47's only two hours too the capital, and there were rumors that Emperor Christopher Septim III was going to make an appearance. Soon the Imperial Red Ensign will proudly fly as there battle flag again.

OOC: Every USSW airship includes LADAR and radar, and we also have two geosynchronous satellites in orbit above Valkstadt, both of which are equipped with LADAR and radar.

Four hours later the colossal convoy rolled into Valksburg amidst cheers of joy and hope. The troops disembarked the BMP's, their rifles slung over there shoulders in there bright purple ceremonial uniforms bayonets fixed, the site of half a million troops in magnificent uniforms and their armored vehicles driving beside filled the Valkan people with hope in these dark times, which was added too by the sounds of Imperial MiGs engaging enemy air and ground targets, and of course the promise of more reenforcement s and the fearsome TU-95 bombers flying sorties laden with hundreds of bombs.

Today the Emperor of the Empire of the Dominion of Integrated States Christopher Septim III, was too address the soldiers and members of the Valkan populous. He was wearing a velvet coat with the medals he had collected serving in the Imperial Nuclear Service, and was flanked by his elite hammer bodyguards. "Soldiers,Sailors and Airmen of the Imperial Guard, Valkan citizens we stand on a great battlefield were we stand to protect the Valkan choice of government, what gives these filthy, democratic pig-dogs the right to approve who should run a country they have no dealing with, we bring light were there is darkness, hope wear there is none, let the democrats come, we will be ready to receive there hospitality, show them the deadliness of our armies."

The emperors speech was received with cheers and the Imperial salute "All Hail the Emperor, All Hail the Septim Dynasty." Engineers ran around setting up firing positions, barricades, machine gun nests, minefields and bunkers and a battle plan was being formulated.

Mobile Soviet P3 'Dumbo system. Wikipedia states this.

Mr. Septim,

You level weighty accusations for such a small nation. Weighty, inaccurate, and perhaps misled accusations. Firstly, we have not "attacked" Valkstadt, not yet. Though I do fear that such action shall shortly be quite necessary. We are presently engaged in a state of war with Valkstadt, yes, that is correct. This is due not to a desire for conquest on our part, but to the fact that the Valkans violated our peace treaty. Simply because some time has passed does not mean that they can ignore our previous binding arrangements. As Brunswick has said, the Valkans have a right to defend themselves, yes. Defend themselves honestly. Hiding weapons secretly, in violation of an international treaty is far from honest. It displays a complete lack of honor on their own part and a total lack of respect for those with whom they engaged in said treaty. This is not a war of "militaristic greed", but one of honor. They lied by violating the treaty. In doing so they declared war on Zeiffelheim.
You say that our "child murdering military is rampaging through the city of Lodz without any respect for human life." This is simply not true. Our Marines were deployed with specific orders not to harm any civilians. Nor to engage any Valkan military personnel. They were ordered simply to confiscate Valkan weapons and take into custody Valkan militants. There has not been a single incident in which our men were the first to open fire. If our men were initiating the engagements, our casualties would be much fewer than they are now, though right now they are not very high.
Will shall not fold to the belligerence of an oppressive imperial regime such as yours.
Send your conscripts at us.
They shall be met with a much larger, more advanced, more dedicated, better trained, and more motivated force than your society could ever hope to produce.

PS I felt I should add this small fact. While you say you have a "high soldier to citizen rate", I think you should know, the United Republic of Zeiffelheim has more people in its active military (that's not including reserves) than you have in your entire nation.

Now I have the full detail of the conflict, I understand that your nation is also an honorable military nation. My troops are currently dug in around the capital of Valksburg there political officers have them pumped up and ready to die for the dynasty. I am myself prepared to die to defend this nation, but also understanding the concept of honor and find you an honorable man. I do however think that it would be a dreadful waste of life on both sides.

I would like to surrender but there is one problem the nation of vorshka is invading, for aggressive imperial expansionism and I am already engaged and are honor bound to continue my war against Vorshka, if you could help me defeat them. I would be willing to surrender my self to save my people, an old man is getting old and would like to surrender myself in place of my nation UNCONDITIONALLY.
