From P.Net= Bounding rectangle size: 144x200 890 Pixels Square

So rounding up using the rule of 10 gives me 900 Square Pixels of coastline.

Ok, so in that case, using the wand tool on paint.net... I came up with around 900 Pixels as I traced my Ocean border. Maybe I did it wrong?

Maybe it's the length of the coastline rather than the area of sea you control? I scanned your map with my eye, and it seems that the length would be somewhere near 200 if it is measured in length. But in any case, I think the mod will have better answer, so there you goes.

Unless you increased the std of your units with pay then the pay and val should be the same. From what I saw you gave them equipment that coast resources. That is the true cost of units.

1 mag= 100 pay

Ohhh.... Ok, so I am measuring it wrong it sounds like. Going off Area of Sea I control.

Really trying to figure this out, so I can do future measurements myself and save people some headache.

It is the length not the area. No one truely controls the sea, sorry if that is confusing in the rules.

Ok... I think I am getting the hang of it now. Measured the line, it gave in it's area in inches, using the ruler I drew a line the same distance and compared it to the scale chart and came up with about 200 miles.

Phew, that was a bear. Now to measure my roads and calculate my bonuses.

Okay so here is my proposed new mount for Ever-Night in addition to the regular horse which I have modified slightly to fit in with the terrain of Ever-Night, tell me what yall think?:
Ever-Night Horse
Description: The horses of Ever-Night are bred to be hearty creatures used to hauling large logs and able to keep a steady pace throughout the day though can only run for very short periods. They also have a very shaggy coat and do not do very well in warmer climates such as the tropics or deserts. The plus side to these beasts is that they are much stronger than their normal brethren and can be a fearsome sight when armored and charging towards the enemy.
EQU: None
SPE: 135 miles a day (+40 SPE to riders of horse)
FLY: N
VAL: 600
PAY: 300
STR: 2

Ever-Night Behemoth
Description: The behemoth is a massive creature that looks like a rhinoceros with shaggy fur on its entire body and can gore an enemy with its horn and trample all those in its way. Its only weakness is its slow speed compared to a horse and although can travel far longer and faster than a human it does so not by much. However it can also carry great loads and is used in addition to charging the enemy, it carries heavy loads of goods down the roads of the Kingdom.
EQU: None
SPE: 120 miles a day (+20 SPE to riders of Behemoths)
FLY: N
VAL: 1600
PAY: 800
STR: 5

Okay, my intro has finally finished! Everyone who are interested, please check it out in my sig or from the OP posts. Please tell me if I missed something, though.

I will modify my military a bit for the plot, namely adding one more hero and plunge the numbers deeper into the red.

P.S. I swear I once saw pick as a weapon before, with +2STR as damage (double against target with armour). Did I miss that or something?

Indeed, though it works more like an anti-shield weapon. May I ask what modification I would need to make, in order to have an anti-armour weapon like I described?

Okay, I have reorganised my military. Now it's even smaller (60 people), but probably more in quality, probably. I also added heroes for quest-solving, let's hope they don't get killed in the first quest. :p
May I ask the exact effect (of the battle system) of ranged weapon?

Too expensive. You are paying one increment already with the reduced speed of it. I imagine this is some kind of Clydesdale? Make the VAL/PAY 300/150 or 400/200, as you see fit. I compared your horse to the other horses available and for +1 STR you don't have to pay triple for a horse.

Description: The behemoth is a massive creature that looks like a rhinoceros with shaggy fur on its entire body and can gore an enemy with its horn and trample all those in its way. PAY: 800

Small Dragon (Creature, small Dragon)
Description: A smaller dragon, recently hatched in comparison with Iregore the Wyrm who spawned them. Unable to use breath weapons, yet quite proficient in teeth and claw combat.
EQU: None
SPE: 500 miles a day
FLY: Y
VAL: 3200
PAY: 800
STR: 4

OK, I compared your behemonth to the standard monster creature template provided by Ceaden. So yeah, you drop the increased cost of being airborne, so instead of VAL 3200 your behemonth is 1600. That's fine.

Yet your behemonth have STR 5 instead of the standard's 4. That means 2 increments in VAL/PAY due to STR. It would had to be 2000/1000 VAL/PAY. Yet I can see you reduced the SPE of a normal mount. Then you have to pay only 1 increment instead of 2. Then the VAL/PAY should be 1800/900, ok?

You have some great ideas there, although.

Not double, but +1. You need to base your weapon on the Wistval pick, and then modify its properties and VAL/PAY accordingly.

Don't double things, it is dangerous. You can make an anti armour pick instead of a anti shield pick, but don't make it double.

Men of the Father:
Description: Born of the darkness of the barren caves of the deep North, these men use their dark magics to strike fear into their foes and summon the various demons of Ever-Night. They tend to look on the verge of death and are dressed in the deep blue signifying their belief in the Night Father and the King. A cloud of perpetual darkness swirls around these men and tend to chant their holiest of chants honoring the darkness and asking for its assistance. Only the most accomplished spell caster can achieve the title Son of the Father and only one caster can hold this position.
EQU: Experts Mage Staff +4 MAG, -5SPE, Advanced Mage Robes, +2 MAG, -5SPE
SPE: 90 miles a day
VAL: 2000 credits
PAY: 1000 credit
STR: 2
MAG: 12
Resources Used:
25x Wood, 3x Gold, 1xSilver

Nope. Too cheap. Actual payment after 14 advancements (2 in STR and 12 in MAG) leaves these guys with a PAY of 1500. And VAL of 3000. The revised version is:

Men of the father:
EQU: Experts Mage Staff +4 MAG, -5SPE, Advanced Mage Robes, +2 MAG, -5SPE
SPE: 90 miles a day
VAL: 5400 credits
PAY: 2700 credit
STR: 2
MAG: 12
Resources Used:
25x Wood, 3x Gold, 1xSilver

Followers of the Summer Queen:
Description: The direct opposite of the Men of the Father, they tend to focus on more healing magic though they can use some of their powers to blind their foes and even the strongest practitioners can wield the holy flame of summer. The ranks of the Followers of the Summer Queen are only women as they are the only ones that can understand the true mind of the Summer Queen. They tend to shimmer at all times and tend to get brighter the darker it becomes till at the darkest parts of the night they are sometimes confused for angels. The highest rank is that of the Holy Daughter and only one woman can hold it.
EQU: Experts Mage Staff +4 MAG, -5SPE, Basic Mage Robes +1 MAG, -5SPE, Advanced Mage Amulet +.5 MAG, -1SPE
SPE: 89 miles a day
VAL: 2000 credits
PAY: 1000 credit
STR: 3.5
MAG: 8.5
Resources Used:
25x Wood, 3.5x Gold, x.5 Silver

Same. Underpriced. VAL/PAY is 2400/1200 (11 Advancements plus 100)

The rest is fine. Me gusta.

How's that?

Not double, but +1. You need to base your weapon on the Wistval pick, and then modify its properties and VAL/PAY accordingly.

Don't double things, it is dangerous. You can make an anti armour pick instead of a anti shield pick, but don't make it double.

Eh, the example weapons in the list use double (or *1.5), but anyway.

How's that now? Though I ultimately used another weapon for my unit, so I might not use it for a while.
Call me Reno.
