Its good to see that the Galactic Conclave's version of Border Security when they identify something fishy is to send over one dude with a clipboard. Having worked with the Border Patrol Agent for sometime now I can assure you all at least that the US Customs officers believe wear tac-vests and are equipped with plenty of tools and ammunition to be appear to be operator as fuck and not only that they never do anything along referring to roam in packs of three to four.

We have another SWG thread about how to submit a claim, basically claim a sector or similar area of space with a blurb about your nation and rp sample or what not and you will be approved and free to rp with the group...

Well, he wasn't a border security man but a customs inspector -- making sure there are no obvious shipping violations. He's like the Homeland Security guy who sits behind the x-ray machine all day, everyday, without a break.

MMMhhhmmm. Sometimes its just funny when you notice how our wee bit of fiction diverges from reality.

Trust me in reality customs officers get plenty of breaks, work hour long rotating shifts at different positions, enjoy air conditioning and walk around with tac vests and that's just at our port in the middle of nowhere az, Oh and they complain about making too much overtime, who does that? Oh and since one has no rights to reasonable search and seizure leaving the country they are more than willing to rip your shit apart for no reason other than that you sound like an asshole. Whether you are a tractor trailer or some dude bringing a trailer of garage sale items to resell in the shittiest nation in the world, mexico.

Oh and btw they are hiring...USAjobs.gov.

Hrm. Getting a bit bored. Thinking I might go ahead and start phase 2 for the Subtle Strike thread. Gonna need a volunteer or two if anybody's game for a sudden attack out of nowheres.

Not a fully fledged war, just a very high profile attack that's geared towards getting attention as much as it is about doing damage. Civilian or military, doesn't matter... preferably military though. Doesn't really matter what faction, either... though I'm always up for variety.

I'm thinking two different types of attack. An important vessel or installation, and some kind of trade crossroads.

Any takers?

Edited to add: Not gonna be using Mourning Glory 'cept for certain logistical thingies. Not aiming to utterly destroy things, just cause a DAMN lot of havoc.
