Vellvert's Square, Tenchino City
0300 Hours

A young man strode across Vellvert Square, as he walked towards the center of the square as he began to notice the elegance put into the creation of the square's central statues. A small smile creeped onto his face as he thought that life couldn't get any better. He remembered with excruciating detail the elegant curves and sultry smile of his girlfriend who had just given him "everything" he had wanted. He had spent the last two hours with her and thought he would remember this moment of pleasure forever.

Across the park, a black van quickly pulled up outside of a two story apartment and several fully equipped soldiers in complete black climbed out. Their gear resembled the complete darkness that was in their hearts, and if it wasn't for the slight light coming from between the dark clouds, no one would notice them in the dark.

Their black shadows quickly moved into the nearby apartments and moments later muffled shouts could be heard. The young man didn't pay much attention to this since he was still concentrating on what had happened earlier. The black figures emerged from the building, but this time slumped over beings could be seen being dragged behind them. The dark figures would continuously enter the building and reemerge with more slumped over beings. This caused the young man to finally notice their commotion, but he still gave little thought to it. After doing this several times, the black figures slowly lined up and began to speak to each other in an inaudible tone, at least from the young man's perspective. After several moments they stopped and the shadows began to move about.

The young man noticed that two of the shadows were missing, he looked around and decided that they must have gone back into the apartments. He decided that this wasn't worth his time and went back to admiring life. As he leaned back against the bench, a loud shout from behind him made him jump with fright. He looked behind himself and was blinded by two bright lights. Once again they shouted, "Answer me Boy!, what are your origins?!" The young book looked bewildered when he heard them, he was wondering why the hell they wanted to know that. They shouted again, but with more ferocity, "What are your origins!?" With fear in his, voice he replied "I...I'm....I'm Creselian!" After hearing this, the black shadows quickly moved around the bench, grabbed the young man and threw him to the ground. They brutally pulled his hands behind his back and bound him with zip ties that cut into his hands. They quickly covered his head with a black shaded back and dragged him across the square towards their vehicle. He tried to call out to his subduers to ask why they had taken him, but his voice didn't seem to penetrate the black shroud around his head.

Samsose Internment Penitentiary, Tenchino City
0400 Hours

A large, boring gray colored, fortress shaped into the most awkward shape towered over the nearby lake, which completely surrounded the fortress. Inside the central square of the fortress like jail, a group of 37 people were lined up against a wall with black shrouds covering their faces. They didn't look like the ordinary prisoners held withing the Penitentiary; especially, since some of them looked as they haven't even graduated high school yet. They all shook with fear and slight murmurs could be heard from within their shrouds.

In front of them stood a line of soldiers waiting for their nearby commander to give them their orders. They all stood proud of their duty and believed what they were going was for the greater good. Vice-General Alyssa Quenten, who had been a loyal soldier to Crendal since she was seventeen. She joined up when she reached the enlistment age of 19 and quickly roze through the ranks as a no-nonsense, take all or nothing woman. She slowly moved to a stand behind the soldiers and softly spoke a command to her soldiers. They quickly moved towards the "prisoners" and removed the shrouds, which caused each of them to gasp when they realized where they were.

Before addressing the prisoners, Alyssa raised her right hand to silence them. "Now that you are silent, we can begin. Do any of you know why you are here?", she said with a smile, "No? I thought atleast one person would have an idea. Well you all are here because you have been deemed a threat to our beautiful nation." Several Citizens began talking amongst themselves, causing a reaction of noise from the people. Alyssa motioned to one of the Commandos beside her. He quickly began shooting into the air, causing the people to ghasp with fright before settling down. "Now Please let me finish", she said in a childish tone. "In several other cities like this one, potential threats have been seized by our nation's forces. Now you all are probably wondering why we have been deemed a threat or what is going to happen to us, but I am going to assure you that these threats to our nation will be delt with the utmost care. We wouldn't want the atrocities of another War now would we?", she said in a light heartedly tone. This eased the minds of the few of the citizens, allowing them to quiet down once again so she could continue.

They looked at her with fear and wonderment, not know why they had been taken in the night. One of them piped up to ask, but before he could finish his sentence... he was quickly shot in the head. His body slumped to the ground and blood splattered across the other prisoners, which caused them to try and run. Unfortunately there wasn't anywhere for them to go before they were gun downed as well. "Oh damn..." Alyssa spoke to herself, "I had a whole speech and everything" She slowly strode towards her office and with a smile; motioned for the soldiers to clean up the "mess".

Creselian Embassy, Tenchino City
1200 Hours

The Creselian Embassy, a sparkling glass structure that towered over the nearby buildings in Tenchino City, was the center of all foreign Creselian Affairs inside of Crendal. It towered twelve stores above the ground and was designed will elegance and style in mind. It was truly a beautiful sight that drew the eye to the center of the district. Inside the gold-leafed lobby, was a large circled dome with a magnificent glass chandelier that hung from the ceiling. Off to the sides were several hallways that led to other parts of the embassy and in the center of the lobby was a large, circular, dark oak desk carved with the history of Creselia. Behind the desk sat several Embassy security guards, dressed in fine, silk suits and brandishing semi-automatic pistols. Behind them were a series of shining, silver elevators that led to the upper floors. People hurried rushed between sections, or coming in from the street, all thinking about today's business rather than what was going to happen next.

A series of three blacked-out vans pulled up in front of the Embassy. The people on the street hardly noticing, until the backdoor of each van exploded and several soldiers fully equipped in black military gear surged towards the embassy doors. Above the embassy, three black-ed out helicopters quickly descended onto the roof of the building with several more soldiers surging into the building from above.

Upon entering the building, the soldiers immediately opened fire upon the security guards and killed them with a double tap to the chest. Before the guards could even stand to retaliate; they were quickly dispatched. The soldiers quickly separated into three teams; with two heading down each hallway and the other moving towards the elevators. After disabling each one they moved up the stairs. They quickly opened fire upon anyone they came across, not even waiting to identify them.

The teams on the roof quickly descended through the building, eliminating everyone that came across their path. After splitting up several times for each floor they quickly moved into the 9th floor, the center for communications, and began sweeping the rooms. After gunning down several secretaries and a guard or two they moved into the main server room. The servers were housed in a rather large chilled room, to keep the servers from overheating, and each row glowed with different colors which created the main light source for the room. Several people had tried to hide in this room, hoping that they wouldn't be found, but when the soldiers entered they were quickly gunned down while the soldiers obliterated the servers; which severed all communications with the outside.

No one was spared during the siege of the Creselian Embassy, a total of 81 Creselian, and all files and information was taken by the soldiers before they detonated several charges in the basement causing the once magnificent building to collapse into rubble.

Crendalian Presidential Office, Tenchino City
1215 Hours

President Vencozi Rentola was watching the smoke rise from across the city; knowing that his soldiers had just massacred everyone in the Creselian Embassy. He moved back toward his desk and prepared to give a speech to his country.

"People of Crendal, I am here to unfortunately notify you that an attack on the Creselian Embassy has just orchestrated by our government. You must all be wondering why I am informing you of this just moments after the attack; Well my advisers and I have come to the unanimous decision that now is the time for the oppression that has been forced upon us to end. We will no longer conform to these rules and laws imposed on our peoples from nations that have taken no consideration for nations outside their circles. You elected me to rule this nation because you all were tired of the corruption that swallowed our homes, of the corruption that the "good" democracy brought forth, and decided that the position of leadership was too sacrifice oneself for the populace and not to take it for oneself. That is why we must take this first step, why we cannot allow the same corruption to once again swell into our nation. Today is the first step to a free Crendal, a Crendal that will rise to the world stage on it's own, a Crendal that will have a chance to experience the world for itself instead of being fast tracked by nations that know nothing of us."

After finishing his speech, President Rentola slowly stood up and moved towards his balcony to once again examine the smoking horizon.

1364 WestPoint Drive, New Commons
Office of Creselian President White

Creselian President Elizabeth Van Houten was elected into office three years earlier, thus meaning her first term was coming to an end. However she knew she would be elected once more, since she has brought Creselia to the forefront of the world. President Houten was sitting in her study enjoying her morning coffee, when she started flipping through the news channels. She had just passed by a channel with a foreign news correspondent when she noticed the world Creselia on the bottom of the screen. She quickly flipped back to that channel and began to examine the screen as to see what was being talked about it. She assumed it was something about foreign aid or involvement in some country, but when the words "Creselian Embassy Attack in Crendal" crossed the screen, she violently spit out her coffee. "Janice!, Get the Directors in here now!", she shouted to her secretary in the next room.

After 10 minutes, several men and women walked into the room with different folders and quizzical looks on their faces. "Ma'am, what is it that you want from us?", asked the Director of Advancement. President Houten angrily replied to her, "Why the hell did I find out about this from the news?" she said while pointing at the screen. Several of the Directors looked at the screen and then at their feet trying to find an answer. The Director of Defense slowly responded, "The communications must have been cut off, they didn't have to report for another three days since Crendal is assumed to be a friendly country." Houten covered her face with her hands and sighed before finally looking up. "Well find out what the hell is exactly..." before she could finish the news report started talking about Crendal's declaration against all foreign intervening powers. "Crendal President Rentola has declared that all foreign officials, Creselian and other nationals, are to leave Crendal by the end of the week or they will face the punishment of espionage." President Houten looked astonished, "This wasn't an attack by a rogue group.... It was the god damn country!", she shouted. "Get on the horn and see if they're any survivors or something that can give light to the situation! I want to know what the fuck is happening!"

Duga
Administrative building
Autonomous Union of the Tehraanian Natal State

The sun was at its highest, its burning rays forcing many into the shadows casted by the many buildings in Duga, the capital of Autonomous Union. Many sought the refuge from the burning heat, leaving their work standing for a break from the day to day tolls.
It wasn’t any different for Administrator Golan Ankai. A simple lunch and coffee inside his private quarters of the Administrative building. As watched the news he had not expected anything major to happen. To him it was just an ordinary day and it would have been if it wasn’t for one singular thing caused by the Crendelians.

The administrator nearly suffered a pulmonary aspiration as he trying to enjoy his coffee when the words “Attack on the Creselian embassy’. He coughed and choked as the hot coffee entered his repertory organs. Leaving a sore and burning feeling in back of his throat. He focused to listen to the blond haired lady that did the news.

“Several hours ago the Creselian embassy inside Crendal was attacked by Crendalian armed forces. The fate of the embassy’s personnel is currently uncertain but it’s assumed a good proportion has been captured and taking into custody.”

The broadcast shifted to footage of Tenchino City and the burning embassy. “Follow the attack the Crendalian president made a speech stating any Creselian and other foreign nations are to leave the country with a week or be tried by espionage.” The women continued as footage of the president’s speech was shown.

“This is not good. The Creselians won’t let something this pass.” Golan thought to himself. He put down his coffee and stood up as.
It was covered with paper work and messages from a multitude of correspondents. Mostly from within the Hegemonic Union. But these all mattered little. All that mattered was the task at hand.

Duga picked up the phone that lay on the left side of his desk, a hotline to one’s secretary was as always a useful ting to have. “Could you please have someone come up in an hour to pick up a few messages that must be send.” He shifted through several papers and got several empty pieces papers.

“And get me on the line with the High General.” He said to his secretary while he assembled his desk in a way he could write.
“Administrator?” High General van den Bergh asked almost insincerely as the tone of his voice indicated he already knew why Golan called. “Yes this is Administrator Golan. I want our armed forces to be put on standby.”

“I take it you saw the news too then.” Van den Bergh responded, a slight laugh preceding and following his words. Golan sniffed “Yes I have, I wish them to be ready when needed. Don’t make it an overt mobilization. I don’t want to scare everyone, just make sure they can go into action as quickly as possible when things go downwards and we have to act.”

“That can be done, you think it will be necessary deploy our forces?” van den Bergh asked. “I don’t know, I’ll write a communique to the central government, informing them of this. Currently it doesn’t look likely. Still we need to take precautions. I’ll also contact the government of Grendel, to see if they can give a clearer view what they’re up to. Just do as I say.” Golan responded as he reached for a pen that lay on the desk.

“Will do Administrator.” Van den Bergh hang up. Golan put the phone down and sighed and rested his head in his hands for a while, thinking that which he was to write down in the communiques he was going to make.

Golan put the pen to work and began writing a message to the Central government concerning the situation in Krandovia.

To: Representative Nakaiya Aran
From: Administrator Golan Ankai
Subject: Creselian Embassy attack in Crendal

Most honorable Representative,

Allow me to thank you for your service for now. So far I have been most satisfied with your representation of our interest within the central government. But that’s not why I’m writing to you.

Only shortly before this message is written I received word via the news of all places that the Creselian Embassy has been attack by the armed forces of the sovereign power of Crendal. Our neighbors to the North are up to something and this attack is foreboding of something far larger.

With stability in jeopardy so close to our sphere of influence I would like you to inform the Central Government of this. Likewise I wish you to request their guidance in handling this situation.

Currently we know little of Crendal. Which makes the classification of this far more difficult? If anything I’m not sure how to act.
Make sure the central government learns of this. I will be awaiting their advice.

Signed,
Administrator Golan Ankai

Golan looked reread his message and then started on the one to the Crendelian President. Shortly after he finished somebody knocked on the door.

“Enter.” He said loudly and he leaned back and light up a cigarette. A black man entered. “Ah yes I was expecting you. Would you take these to the communication department and have them send.” Golan smiled.

The black man nodded and didn’t say anything. “Oh and tell the others to bring me a new lunch. This one turned cold.”

The Autonomous Union of the Tehraanian Natal State

Official Communique

To: President Vencozi Rentola
From: Administrator Golan Ankai
Subject: Embassy attack
Encryption: High

Most honorable sir,

At this point I’m sure that you expected a message. But I doubt you expected it from us. I don’t make it a habit to involve the Autonomous Union in anything but our internal affairs but this does require some attention.

I don’t fully know why and in that respect I don’t want an explanation as to why you did it. All I want to know is what you and the bodies you represent are planning with this and what you are expecting to achieve through this act of aggression against what under all formality is a sovereign possession of the Democratic Republic of Creselia.

No doubt the Creselians will respond to this and I think you of all people should that they won’t be nice to you.
I hope for your sake you have got yourself and your nation covered in some way because I don’t see this ending well. I’m sure there are some possibilities but don’t count on it.

All in all I’m concerned as to your motivations and to the stability of the region.

We are no friends of the Creselians, but we know little of you and are unsure as what to expect. Whilst this doesn’t mean anything concerning our stance towards you. Anything is secondary to the security of the Hegemonic Union and the Tehraani-Natal state.
If you wish to escalade this there might be a chance we’ll see it neccesary to do protect our interests. In what way and on who’s side however remains uncertain.

I hope you can answer our questions we asked earlier in this communique.

We might even stretch out a helping hand if it comes to it. But it all depends.

We wish you the best of luck

Signed,
