I have been thinking recently of forming an alliance on NS that would be similar to the United Federation of Planets. All members would share one common currency, resources, technology, and one large military would be formed. (Individual nations may have their own private military) To form this alliance I was thinking we could RP a event, say a devastating war or some dangerous threat that forces various powers to come together. After it is formed we could do many Alliance wide RPs on our own and with others. We could have a council of repesentitives to discuss war, economics, and inviting other worlds to join. We could also elect a president or other form of leader.
In order to do this we need to see who is interested. We would also need time to draft a charter and such. This will need to be the work of many, not one. If any one has any ideas post them.
