Personally, I'm pretty sure that so long as we don't attack each other or aid enemies of the alliance, then we won't be considered traitors. I really don't see how that's considered 'an extension of Japan's empire'.

Also; That was a pretty idiotic request Quendi; There's no way in hell any sovereign nation would agree to a demand like that.

Pretty much. I mean, YellowApple's objectives here aren't going to be as much militaristic as they will be economic, using its membership to attract additional trade, but in a sense, this does expand everyone's general power.

I take offense to that, Sultan Altair Ibrahim Ragez is one of the most cheerful leaders in the world. He's also probably the only leader that has ever attempted to hold referendums every four years to repeal his position's lack of a term limit.

He pulls 12 Gs without breaking a sweat, readily goes out into the open without bodyguards, and takes an almost totally non-serious approach when talking to diplomats. But that hardly qualifies him as a nut-case.

Also; I vote for 2. Japan seems to be kind of a dangerous place to hold it with all the hullabaloo in that Great Asian War going on.
