Operation: BLACKBEARD (MT/PMT: Open)

Postby Cobra Moon » Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:24 pm

Cobra Moon Caribbean Base, Haiti

Lady Drake Trench sat in the meeting room, watching the lagre Screen as Cobrawolf appeared. "You sure that this would work?" The High Leader of Cobra Moon asked. Operation: BLACKBEARD had been in the planning for a long time. The Brainchild of Miss Trench, the Admiral of the Cobra Moon Navy.

"Many Ships go though the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico to get to The Latin American Nations" Trench said. "Attacking the Shipping in The Caribbean and Gulf will cause the economy of any nations around the areas to collape. It will be easy to start Rebellions backed by us that will make Latin America and The Caribbean ours."

"Good," Cobrawolf said, "I want all Ships attacked, also you sight any warships..........Sink Them!"

Cobra Moon was to show it's true Power.

OOC: I'm going to RP in this, as long as the standard of roleplay jumps up a few notches. May as well try to drag it up myself.

IC:

The Desert Sun crashed through the waves in the pitch dark of night. The vessel was a 1,618 cargo vessel registered in Kazakhstania, and the captain, Tito Marajn, was born there. Since then, the country had been reduced to ashes, and was a hollow husk of the nation it was before. Which means that the Desert Sun had no real home, thus avoiding all but import tariffs at any destination it supplied goods to. This made both the captain, and his crew, incredible rich. On this particular journey, they were supplying luxury goods such as televisions and electronic goods throughout the Carribbean. The only problems they ever really had were with coast guards who got twitchy when the papers they were provided said the ship was from a nation that didn't strictly exist. I mean, it used to, but not anymore....

They were currently 50 miles from the nearest shore, and were scheduled to make port the following morning. The weather was beginning to turn foul however - after nights only disturbed by the tides and the heat of the sun, it was an unusual sensation even for the veteran captain.

The Katama Beauty sliced through the ocean under the cover of night. A Northwest Americana aircraft carrier, it was making a rare journey to the third world in order to distribute medication, food, and other basic living equipment to destitute peasants. The reason it was sent, as opposed a mere cargo vessel, was due to its expansive medical area. This would be put to use for the villagers for various reasons - childbirth, dental care, and even first aid

If it's good enough for the troops thought commanding officer Captain Fordsman then it'll be more than sufficient for the poor. He was at ease. The mission was simple enough; no, it was unable to fail. And if they were attacked by some group, then they would easily be fended off by the carrier's supeior weaponry, on to mention it's 500 Marine personell.

It was late now. He would rest for tomorrow. No matter how easy this mission would be, he wanted to be up early. While he felt confident in his crew, no mission ever failed from being too prepared.

What the Katama Beauty and Desert Sun did not know was that they were being hunted. The most deadly thing in the sea now was Cobra Moon.

The Aircraft Carrier had been sighted by a Cobra Moon MAKO, a small, eight-person Sub made for attacks. It was fast to envade enemy attack subs and to cach up to enemy ships. The MAKO had two Torpedoes. but it would be enough as MAKOs came in packs. five were out tonight, to sink ships. Their cargo would be salvaged by Cobra Moon.

The MAKO targeted the Carrier for destruction. The Torpedo man fired the two Torpedoes as the MAKO beside his Sub fired also.

OOC:

Oh god I give up. This is doomed to fail.

Cobra, try reading some other RP's, read the guides. I know they are sometimes long and dull, but you learn a lot from them.

I guess you will learn that building some structure into your roleplaying makes it much more fun. I would rather lose one ship in an interesting way than sink and enemy fleet through crap RP.

(Crobra, you need to read some guides. Don't worry, you will improve just like all of us did. What you just did was a godmod somewhat [I'm in a ship with radar, shouldn't I see you? Additionally, your desription of the mako makes it seem undefeatable] and mch too uneventful. Describe the plot a bit more and flesh things out.

When you do that, I'll gladly join an RP of yours. The guides are excellent.
