It Was September 3rd, a birhgt and wonderfull day for Comrade Volgan Witenzgie,
He was released from jail on bail (For houseing the murders of fellow politicians) for 180,000 USD.

He had become the new Minister of Affairs for Dukopolious, and was the secondary head of the grand council, just under the nation's Diarc; Grand Chancelliour Duke Windburn IV, He had just won a minority govenment as he was the leader of the Communist Party of Dukopolious, his only political ally, the Reformed Reichstag party had just enough seats to make a collation majority.

Witenzgie was full of glee, he litterally froliced in the empty Council chambers, he was ready to turn Dukopolious into his own personal paradise, what ever the cost.

But the day wasn't all good, infact it was terrible for the rightfull Diarch of the land, The chancelliour was completely impartial to the political parties running, until he heard of Witenzgie's crimes, and he was even more disgusted by the fact that they were donated so much that he got his bail in under a day.

The chancelliour knew what was to come, the grand council would be lead by the Communist-Rechinstag collation, and he would be powerless to stop it, until of course Volgan acctually commited a crime.

It was time for the Grand Council to send a letter to GD requesting for them to recognize the new govenment;

The chancelliour looked at the message in the imperial Mail board before he sadly and reluctantly stamped it, and scowled. He hoped that the rest of GD could see what he did.

The recent elections in Dukopolious had slightly concerned the upper echelons of the Foreign and Colonial office in The Matthew Islands. A communist victory was never a good sign and this communique issued by the new government did little to soothe these fears. After mulling over the options, the government decided to simply ignore the letter. They wouldn't say they recognised the new government de jure but would allow people to assume they recognised de facto.

The Holy Empire is saddened that a communist government has been voted in by democratic vote by the population of Dukopolious. It is the Empire's firm belief that, despite the moral and social truths and benefits communism brings to a country, the inherent economic problems that occur because of communism and the almost certain corruption of government officials, means that this will probably do more harm than good for the country and people of Dukopolious.
We hope the members of the communist government adhere to the basic principles of marxism and learn from the principles of failed communist countries, and that they too should be equal to the people. Be respectful to their wishes, and that the peoples democratic freedoms and civil liberties are not wholly and completely destroyed as has been witnessed in other communist states.

However, this is a rare occasion in extreme circumstances. The people have voted in a communist government. Notably this has happened through a controlled, legal and legitimate democratic process without any noticeable or obvious signs of corrupt of rigged voting methods. This being the case, it is obvious (and should also be obvious to the nations of Greater Dienstad) that the people of Dukopolious genuinely wish to have communist rulers. Because of this fact it is not the right of the Holy Empire of Stevid or any other nation in the world to denounce the government of Dukopolious or hold the government accountable of any particular misdeed simply because it is a communist state.

The people have spoken. They have asked for communism.

The Holy Empire of Stevid hereby recognises the government of Dukopolious as the legitimately elected winners of the election.

However because of the waves this has caused in the region regarding the party that has been voted in, all diplomatic efforts with Dukopolious are hereby suspended until further notice. When political calm in Dukopolious and the region returns to the norm them diplomatic efforts will continue.

His Majesty's government has been deliberating what course of action should be taken for some time. A communist government is always a cause for concern regarding rights and freedoms and we have yet to be disproved.

This is why, regretfully, we must hereby end all diplomatic relations with your current government until further notice. We know that your people have democratically and freely elected their own government, however we have suspicions that your campaign was only successful from large foreign backing and we are worried that many of the policies you promised while campaigning were a front to gain power.

Any diplomats you have in our nation are to leave immediately.

The Grand Chancellor Nodded approvingly once he saw the letter. He simply mumbles "Let's see what Volgan does about this." He stamped for grand council processing and Jaufree Carried it into the Grand Council chambers.

'Zank you. Jufree. Now be gone."Muttered Volgan looking up from his book called 'Nazi Germany at its Peak'
Scowling as he left Jaufree exited the large steel door and returned to his quarters for some R&R.

Meanwhile back in the grand council chambers, Volgan looked around curiously, saw no one. He was satisfied. Placing his bookmark in 'Chapter 2; Breaking ties.'

He leaned over the note Jaufree brought and read to himself. A look of anger came upon him, his fist clenched and he reached for his knife to go slice up the paper. But then he looked back at his book, and then at the note. A devious smile crossed his face.


Windburn's Bay, Dukopolious

The Communist-Rechinstag collation just barely passed Comrade Volgan's Proposal to embargo the Isles. The chancellor was furious. The Vote was 16-14/30 total. He did want to see volgan overreact, but not once did he intend this. Volgan was ruining ties set by his ancestors.

The Dock was loud with Soldiers (Now in their hammer-And-Sickle bearing uniforms) storming the long range cruisers. Once filled Volgan waved a big goodbye to the ships, a grin ear-to-ear. The chancellor’s face buried in his hands, he felt like strangling Volgan on the spot, but couldn't.

Once the ships left, a mere 2 hours later, the ships randmoly encountered a Matthew Island fleet the seemed to be patrolling international waters.

The commander of the fleet was (obviously) a very well known Pro-Communist captain. He was promoted all the way from lieutenant, along with many other pro-communist millitaints under the new govenment. He was about to order to open fire on the ships, like his superiors would but was stopped by the second in command he was assigned. He hated this man as he was a loyalist, but had no other choice but to have him serve on the DIAS-Maritime. One of the smallest flagships in the Dukopolious armada, but it was still substantually larger than the average distroyer.

"Captain Regulf, don't be reckless. We may be placing an embargo on them, but lets atleast have them surrender. I don't know about you but I will not kill in cold blood. I say we demand surrender." Said The SiC

"How dare you give me orders. I will do as I please" He thought back to the image of Matthew slaves being forces to do heavy labour in Dukopolious and smiled deviously. "Actually, perhaps we should. Send out the order.


The fleet contained 3 destroyers, 1 aircraft carrier, and about 23 frigates. They bagan to attempt to flank the Matthew ships in an attempt to influence thier surrender.

HMS Strike was a Type 46 Parish class Destroyer patrolling near Dukopolious for signs of activity since the breaking off of diplomatic relations. It was officially patrolling in international waters, however, the large activity from Dukopolious had startled the captain, and he was immediately concerned about the apparent movements of the Dukopolious ships.

The Captain of the ship, Captain James Morris, was in the bridge barking orders to his crew.
"All men to their battle stations until further notice. Activate H.E.B protocol and inform high command of aggressive movements from Dukopolious navy vessels. We will not fire unless I explicitly order it. The first sign of them firing deploy appropriate countermeasures. Keep the speed steady and be prepared to begin evasive manoeuvres. Comm, prepare to send a message to high command."

POTENTIALLY HOSTILE FORCES FROM DUKOPOLIOUS

The highly encrypted message was dispatched to Naval command in Islington and things started to buzz. The minister for Defence was informed, along with the king, the Prime Minister and the foreign and colonial secretary. Barrages of emails and other messages were flying across the government as the aforementioned leaders discussed the situation. It did not take long for the orders to be sent out. Mobilisation of the 2 Fleet and the Marines and Rapid Reaction division to be put on standby along with all air forces. No mention to the Media. DEFCON 3.

Now Captain James Morris had to deal with the Dukopolious fleet. He was out gunned and would surely be destroyed if fired upon. Yet, they had demanded their surrender. This is never a good sign, when a fleet turns up out of the blue and demands your surrender.

A young lieutenant, probably 18 ran up to the Captain with a printed note in his hand bearing the Matthew Island emblem.

As he read, Captain Redgulf went red with fury."How DARE they decline! Make it look like we are about to leave, then shoot them with everything we have got. Inform The Harbour of the Matthew island's refusal. Prepare the forces for a full scale attack. By now they should all be flanking the small enemy fleet. In mere seconds we could take out the majority of their forces now that all our guns are trained on them. Hopefully this battle goes well. I'll be in my quarter’s hidi- I mean preparing for the embargo."Regulf had a look of embarrassment on his face as he marched away, only to be pulled back by the Cadet who had given him the message.

"Wait, sir. There was a message from their fleet, it was extremely well encrypted, and this fleet doesn't have the tech to encode it. All we know was there was a message, and it was sent in the general direction of the Matthew Islands." He huffed out the final words like stones as he attempted to stand tall in front of his superior.

Redgulf clenched his fist and bashed it into a steel wall to his right, almost denting it and giving him much pain. He didn't care though; his anger was above that of his feeble pain.
"Enough of this. I'll contact the harbour from the bridge, open fire on my mark."
He looked down on the cadet, then sternly struck him with a slap "GET GOING CADET!"

The cadet almost fell back with the power of this man but managed to miraculously stand, he stumbled over his own steps to the communications array.

Hello command. It's Redgulf. We have a patrol fleet in our clutches. We will destroy them but they managed to send a message to the Matthew isles. I am requesting heavy support. Including anti-air forces along with bombers. I expect a battle before we arrive. If they do open fire I highly suggest declaring war on the isles.

The second that Redgulf finished typing and pressed 'Send' the firing started.

The sound of the Aircrafts being deployed out of thier carriers and acending on the virtually defencless force was magnificant to the communist millitants. And it made the loyalists sick to thier stomachs. The heavy cannons pounded out bulets and shells as the long range weapons with much higher areas of effect fired into the center of the enemy fleet.

The submarines were deployed from the distroyers going half a mile below water launching barages of torpedos onto the underbelly of the enemy ship.

[The Matthew Islands]

The first volley of fire did damage, but not ship threatening. Shells tore into main tower and damaged most of the Bridge. Captain Morris was thrown back from the blast with shrapnel covering him in small cuts and debris. He clambered to his fleet and ordered an Officer leaning against a communication panels to send out an emergency EEM (Enemy encounter message). Morris then staggered over to the ships internal communications which miraculously crackled into life, however he didn't know for how long.
"All ship batteries are to return fire! Initiate defensive measures and evasive manoeuvres!"
Not all of the ships weapons were operational as they had been damaged from a variety of sources. The ship launched 4 GWS-60 Anti ship missiles, 2 at an enemy carrier and 2 at an enemy Destroyers, while they also fired a GWS-99P at another destroyer. However before the ship could fire another volley, torpedo's from enemy submarines tore into the underbelly of the ship, hitting ammunition and causing the ship to be obliterated. The few intact chunks sank rapidly. Of the 180 crew none survived.

The message was recieved and passed around a shocked King and government. It didn't take long for a unanimous decision to be reached.

King Gilligan stood at the podium and read out his statement.
"Approximately 4 hours ago a Royal Navy Destroyer, HMS Strike while conducting a routine patrol in international waters, was aggressively and unjustly sunk, by navy ships from Dukopolious. We believe all on board died. This action will not go unpunished. As of now, The Imperial Empire of The Matthew Islands is in a state of war with the Protectorate of Dukopolious. I have on the advice of the Minister of Defence and the Lord chief of the armed forces hereby issued a complete mobilisation of all military forces. Any Dukopolious navy ship entering our territorial waters will be attacked and destroyed and any civilian Dukopolious ship will be impounded and the crew arrested. As of now this country is at DEFCON 1 and will remain so until such time that we have achieved complete victory over Dukopolious. The lives of the men of HMS Strike will be avenged, and Dukopolious will feel the full force of our righteous fury. We will not stop until those responsible for such an unwarranted attack are made to face justice. Thank you, no questions."

The declaration of war had come of no surprise to the commanders of the second fleet, but to be told to hold position puzzled them. However when they noticed the reinforcements part of the message they soon understood. The entire home fleet was being mobilised to blockade Dukopolious.

As of this moment the Unified Commonwealth is breaking of diplomatic relations and closing all Morridane ports to Dukopolious shipping. We hope that our fellow neighbours in Greater Dienstad can pressure Dukopolious into backing down and avoid further conflict.

Upon arrival in Region, you are hereby ordered to commence immediate Combat Operations until reinforcements arrive in the form of Air Force Regiments, more Naval Forces, and ground forces to conduct the invasion.

“Ensign, get me Lt. Commander McHale, order him to rescind all Leaves immediately and order all ships to prepare for departure and combat operations. I want all ships out of this port in under 16 hours time”

“Yes Admiral, will do”

The chancellor was still in the capitol. It was only just under a day since the ships left, when Jaufree, and 18 members of the royal guard bursted into the Grand Chancellor’s office; Weapons drawn.

"Jaufree! What's the meaning of this!"Yelled at chancellor at his trusted assistant.

The men began to scan their guns around the room. They lowered them and rushed to close and lock the windows left of the Steel desk, where the chancellor sat.

"I'm sorry your Excellency. I'm glad we arrived before the communists. I'd say 4/5's of Greater Dienstad have declared war on us. The Communist elites were dispatched here to execute you, or take you hostage. I'm glad we got here first." He said while his eyes shot across the room looking for something wrong, anything wrong. Yet inside he hoped that he could awake from this apparent Nightmare.

"My god. Send out order 25. It's time Jaufree. This hasn't been ordered since by great grandfather was in charge and that was over a century ago. Call in the loyalists troops on every secure channel you can access. I am placing a death warrant on Volgan, but only 1/3 of the troops seem to be loyalists. We can't risk their lives. Now obviously this isn't a safe place any more. And I'm guessing my manor at Windburnia has been dealt with as well?" The chancellor demanded.

Jaufree 'gulped' and began to speak once again. "We got the rest of the royal family out in time, no one was injured. but we got reports minutes before we got here that they had seized the home and are ripping it apart trying to find loyalist names." His head dropped and he looked at his superior’s shoes. Then he lifted his head. A glint of hope in his eyes. "I'm afraid the communists have taken the majority of Gavana. But this can be used to our advantage. There is still that secure base your father set up 2 decades ago. The rest of the Royals have been moved there already. The communists seem to think you are going to be hiding somewhere in Lyras. Due to a few 'misunderstandings' on their private comms channel. This is why they were rushing to kill you-"

Just that second all the men stopped dead in their tracks. The sound of a helicopter was near, along with what sounded like thuds from people jumping out of it.

"Sir," Jaufree squeaked "They're here. We must go." And with that the chancellor activated the emergency passage button under his desk. The secret tunnel below lead to the underground parking lot, along with a separate tunnel to the private airfield.

They rushed towards the armoured convoy, but heard what seemed to be a tank outside of it. Their fears were realized when they turned a corner and were looking at the back end of a Viper-4000 Elite Force tank. One of the top of its line. Before it could see them they synchronously ran back toward the airfield.

As they ran to the field the men from the helicopter rushed down the tunnel they came from guns pointed and bullets blazing. One Elite soldier was shot in the left shoulder 4 times, but managed to return fir killing the 4 aggressors. Blood spilling over their Hammer-And-Sickle uniforms.

As they took the nearest helicopter they flew towards one of the only secure dispatch points in the nation, and took a seemly mediocre jet to the Base in Gavania.

Back in the chancellor’s office. 22 minutes Prior to jet departure.

Volgan has stepped into the office, and took a seat in the chancellor’s chair. Spitting on his family photographs.

"It's good to be the boss."With that he opened his Book on 1940's Germany and began to read. While the streets were filled with soldiers arresting anyone in sight.

He has 2/3 of his military newly drafted, 1/6 of the others are released criminals, and the other 1/6 are traitors to my nation. And with that they landed in Gavana Land bordering Colterian across a sea that lead to the burning metropolious that was Dukopia city, within the besieged protectorate that was communist Dukopolious. After exiting the plane an entering the heavily fortified entrance, into the underground bunker, the first person the Chancellor saw was no, not a guard, but his youngest sister. The Chancellor’s sister shed a tear, gave him a hug and simply said "How was your flight" Before burying her face into her brothers shoulder, the first time she had seen him in 8 years.

After entering the bunker the chancellor met with his closest friends, his family, and his most trusted commanding officers.

"I'm so glad you are safe" he said with a smile ear to ear "We'll beat these bastards if it's the last thing I do!"

Eastern Morrdh

At an airfield a Vulcan bomber had been finished being bombed up with a pair of AM-21 missiles on wing mount pylons and its crew strapped in and finishing off pre-flight checks. "Operations, Operations. This is Seeker One. Seeker Flight is ready for departure. Awaiting permission."

"Seeker One, Operations. Permission granted, godspeed."

"Roger that Operations. Tally ho!" The Vulcan's engines powered up as the bomber taxi out to the runway followed by a second Vulcan that would serve as the backup plane should Seeker One have to abort. At other airfields tanker aircraft were already airborne as the two Vulcans howled and roared into the sky, both fitted with additional fuel tanks in their bomb bays to boost their range. The plan was to destroy or suppress the Communist controlled radar and air defence systems of Dukopolious so that strikes against airfields and other military installations could be carried out.

Operation REDCOAT was just beginning as the planes roared into the darkening twilight of the eastern horizon.

"Bomvers? Bomvers in Zi Vogland? Unacceptable. I had come all seway from de Heningrad Embassy to command this defence? Volgan would have my head if he found out about this. Muster up Any fighters in ze area. Dispatch AA units and prepare our own bomvers for a strike on any of zez 'morhud' ships."Said Commissioner Jargi Valderblad, the nation's strongest Pro-Communist General.

He was made leader of the military after General Brook Windburn declared himself a loyalist to his Cousin, the Chancellor. After putting a few bullets into the heads of Comrade Volgan's chief advisory council.

As Jargi yelled at his colonel, the ships engines were already started. They had launched from all the nearest airbases and even a few makeshift Communist airfields.

The AF-42i Fighters flew through the air like a Frisbee, clean and smooth. The second they saw their target (without registering it's target's backup) the bullets flew from the engines of the ship. The bullet storm from the front ships were head wising through the air. The ones which were off by a long shot dropped into the ocean below.

Before destruction was even confirmed, they wanted to be sure what was happening to their target far below. 4 target missiles were sent flying down like a hawk on the bomber, and out of the glint of the air marshals eye he saw another glint of metal in the air.

OOC:I'm not very familiar with air fights. I know I can't say if the bullets hit, or if your ship was destroyed. I also gave your ships enough time to get into my territorial waters, before reacting with a counter. If there are any mistakes TG me.

International waters between Independent Hitmen and Erid Loi.
The home fleet was making its way towards the coast of Dukopolious. They were going to crush the Dukopolious fleet and blockade the country for invasion. The army had been mobilised back home, and all available units who could be spared from the colonies had been sent to the Home islands. The 10 Million strong armed forces of The Matthew Islands were gearing up for conflict.

All resources were being expended into locating the bulk of the Dukopolious fleet from long range AWACAS to even using satellite imaging, even though it was largely ineffective at identifying an enemy fleet, any indication of a fleets position was used for scouting missions.

The hunter killer submarines had already been sent ahead to try and spot and engage the Dukopolious fleet in groups of 10 while the nuclear missile submarines began to position themselves in range of Dukopolious main cities.

The lead ship of the fleet was the carrier HMS King Gilligan, the first King Gilligan class carrier to be built. On board was Admiral Haynes, the Navy's most decorated commander and the man in charge of all Home ships. The men on board each ship were tense, but confident that they could beat the Dukopolious fleet.

Dukopolious territorial waters, Passage between the dual lands of Gavania

Admiral Brook windburn was on one of the 2 Dukopion Flagships under Loyalist control. Sweat built up above his brow as the small fleet escorted civilians from Dukopolious to the southern Land of Gavania. After being transported they would either work to supply the loyalists, or join them in their fight against the communist regime that oppressed the great nation that was Dukopolious.

A lieutenant named George Hunton entered the bridge and began to speak.
"Admiral, The Matthew Islands have sent a fleet to crush the communists. They are approaching from Hitman And Erid's general direction. They will be in range of the long range turret in mere minutes. I suggest if we are going to strike we do it now." He said swiftly.

The admiral stroked his Goatee that he had grew since the day the communists won the election. Against all odds of course he knew corruption was involved, but he didn't know it would lead to this.

"Contact Duke. We must tell him to muster what's left of the Loyalist air force. If we take out those cannons the Matthew ships can pass into the mainland. This just may be our chance." He said as he hit an intercom.

"Break all transports. Get the fleet ready for an attack. Any remaining civilians on the land tell them to hide in the forest and wait for the Trumpets. The commie's would never venture this far south in Gavania. They are already too busy with that distraction from Morrdh." He said as he turned around swiftly hitting a red button. Sirens around the fleet turned on filling the sea with blinking red lights and very strong sounds. Around the corner was a very small Communist scout frigate. Brook had found the best possible hiding place It had rocky walls on all sides. And if a Commie Ship did manage to get near it would be ambushed on all sides. 2 shots from the flagships cannon literally blew the frigate to pieces.

The heavy cannons had taken wind of the Matthew island ships. And were warming up to fire.1%.5% 10%.25%.40%. -System error- 41%. 42%. 43%

*Flagship DLS. Marina- Jammer Activated*

During the space between 40 and 41 percent the flagship managed to activate its jammer sin attempt to slow down the long ranged cannons.

The communists at the fire control center were getting impatient. The Matthew ships could've been crushed by them if the firing had already started. By the time they got close enough to the cannons they would've lost 80% of their fleet. The commander of the firing control center was very angry. The delay would give the Matthew's time to fire upon the control center. He deployed a small fleet, still 4 times larger than the loyalist one to find the source of the delay, and destroyer it. Meanwhile 2 Spy planes were dispatched from The Northern Gavania air traffic control centre to scan the Matthew fleet.

"Shit...Target Lock!" Cried the Air Electronics Officer onboard the lone Vulcan bomber. "We've got bandits riding right up our snout!"

"Fire the chaff and warm up the ECM circuits!" Ordered the pilot and captain of the bomber. "Nav Radar, get yer rockets away ASAP!"

"Aye skipper!" Came the replies from both the Navigator Radar and the AEO, before the bomber shuddered as the two underwing AM-21 missiles were released from their pylons and the rocket motors kicked in. "Rockets away!"

"Decoys fired!" Cried the AEO as the decoy dispensers discharged chaff to throw off the oncoming AA missiles and the ECM jammers kicked in. "Bank! Bank! Bank!"

Gravity shifted in the small, cramped cabin as the Vulcan banked hard to the left with a 120 degree wingover and then powered climbed with its engines roaring and howling as it did so. A near-miss rocked the aircraft and red lights lit up on the AEO's consoles as a buzzer sounded. "Taken damage to engines one and two, hydraulics leak port side flaps!"

"Bandits still on our tail!" The Navigator Radar cried out.

"Right." Sighed the pilot as he continued to pull evasive manoeuvres, taking as much advantage as he could of the Vulcan's ability to fly like a fighter. "AEO, send signal 'REDCOAT. HORN. FOX.' Then standby to bail out."

"Aye sir."

As the Air Electronics Officer transmitted the message, the two AM-21 missiles flew on and began locking onto the signals of nearby radar systems.

Loyalist Airbase, Southern Gavania

After hearing of the attack, 200 of the 300 bombers acceded on the heavy cannon fire stations. They had a 50 fighter escort squad, out of the 500 fighters. But the fight was not over.

After hearing of Morrdh's bomber, and the fact it was under heavy fire 300 ready fighters, some of the bravest pilots were dispatched to save their ally. As an act of acceptance and peace. And to show the communists the loyalists were not a force to be reckoned with.

It was a dark night. They had picked up Morrdh's fleeing ship on the radar, and closely pursued by a large force. a few of the fighters were dead due to some missiles from Morrdh’s, and they were well prepared too, but Morrdh’s bomber couldn't keep this up for long. The commies were gaining on the lone bomber, blasting their guns at the remaining engines.

The 300 planes were much higher in elevation and began a barrage of missile fire onto the communist air fleet.

The communists quickly caught drift of the situation and began to counter fire. In this only 4 fighters stayed on target firing even harder at the Morrdh’s bomber. They knew the loyalists didn't just make a stand all of a sudden. The communists thought some sort of VIP was on the plane and began to fire ether entire missile arsenal in a desperate attempt to defeat the lone bomber.

Meanwhile back in the clouds above the loyalist fighters were better trained and had larger numbers, the communists' only advantage was the fact that they had some of the bets planes in Dukopolious.

It was a bloody fight. No one ejected except a few loyalists whom had their engines blown and were plummeting to the water at hundreds of miles per hour.

In the end the communists were reduced to rubble and the 194 damaged Loyalist ships took care of the last 4 communist ships were destroyed at the cost of only 2 loyalists whom were already damaged heavily.

Comms were opened.

"This is Dukopolious Loyalist Fleet 1.3 We have come to aid you. The commies are down. Are you damaged severely? We have an airbase near here you can use for repairs. And don't worry in that fight up there we managed to temporarily disable the costal scanners, so you are free to bomb if you wish for the next hour or so. But be warned the communists have set up AA's on basically every building of importance. Trust me we lost a ton of good bombers like that." The Pilot sighed.

The pilot's name was George Parkson. He was now the leader of the air fleet because the 6 officers higher than him just died.

"Alright Follow us. Coordinate G3-106 on your radar if you get lost. it's fairly big and will have your ship in peack condition in about an hour. I can adress you to an officer, or maybe even a diplomat when we get there" He said trying to repair his own connection. The planes flew in a V around the bomber to make sure it didn't get lost.

"Roger that." Jenson replied. "Inform your people to have crash teams ready, our engines are fluctuating and I'm expecting a hard landing....my crew is ready to bail out since we're not sure how much longer the old girl can stay aloft. Once we're down I'll need to get in contact with my own people, I doubt an hour and a roll of duct tape will be able to patch up the old girl this time round."

"Oh and Squadron Leader or just sir will do just fine." Added Jenson as he and his co-pilot nursed the damaged bomber to the Loyalist airbase.

RMAF Bomber Command, Midfast, Unified Commonwealth of Morrdh

In the Ops room for Operation REDCOAT there was a mood of celebration, with its 'REDCOAT HORN FOX' transmission Seeker One had signalled its mission success despite being bounced on by enemy fighters. Though the celebration was underlined by worry and doubt, Seeker One's last transmission via Ultra High Frequency had reported damage to the bomber and that it was diverting. It was now the waiting game as to if and when Seeker One would transmit another message signalling that it had landed safely.

After about 5 minutes of flying the damaged message was finally decyphered.

"Sorry sir. I had some trouble hearing you. As for your landing that wont be nessciacry. A large carrier is en-route and will be here in about 20 seconds. the heavily damage ships can dock in it. I'll land in there aswell. The commies still have a bunch of ships flying around trying to find the source of the jammer thats stopping thier heavy cannosn from pounding matthew's ships to shreads. The bombers have a long way to go before they can bomb thoose damn cannons.Now come'on" He said

After a few minutes of scilently flying the fuel was getting low, They were now 1/4 of a mile west of the airbase but even throught hte night sky, it was still clearly visible.

"You're clear to land Sir"

"Acknowledged." Replied Jenson as he brought the damaged bomber in low and had the landing gear lowered. "The crash teams have better be ready."

The crew were tense, the engines and some of the control surfaces had been damaged along with the hydraulics leak that would make for one very tricky landing. Airbrakes and the braking parachute would help to slow down and halt the bomber, but the trick was maintaining enough airspeed to stop from from stalling until they were safely down on the tarmac of the runway. Jenson was tempted to just shutdown all four engines and come in on an unpowered glide, they would only get one shot at this with a 'go-around' being entirely out of the question. With the runway looming ahead of them with the flashing lights of crash tenders visible, in the middle distance off to one side, Jenson made up his mind. "Throttle back to quarter power and deploy airbrakes please."

The co-pilot nodded and did as instructed whilst Jenson kept an eye on the runway ahead, occasionally glancing at the instruments in front of him to check airspeed and altitude. They were under two hundred feet and coming in bit slower than he'd like, the engines were running rough now and he knew they needed to get down soon. As they began to slide over the end of the runway Jenson called for the engines to be throttled back fully, waiting for the rear wheels to touchdown on the runway before easing the stick forwards to put the nosewheel down as well. Once the wheels were down the co-pilot was already streaming the braking 'chute to slow them down as a feeling of relief could be felt round the cabin. Using the last of their engine power they taxied off the runway after jettisoning the braking 'chute and shutdown the engines as crash tenders and ground crew came running.

As the crew were repairing the bomber, and the rest of the fighters, George went into the command center to report 6 officer casualties. Little did he know, the Lieutenant was now becoming a Captain?

Bomber Fleet over Communist Long range cannon array

They were a mere 3 miles when the machine went from 99% to a full 100%. The firing shook the ground and sea below, sending moderately small waves inward.

There were 18 cannons in all. All very strong with Uranium infused Nitrogenise Bomb-Bullets. Some of the best in the Dukopion Arsenal. The shots rung through the air right at the closing Matthew Fleet. Shooting barrages of missiles at them as well. Huge area of affect weapons replaces the normal targeting shells once the firing began to slow. The Matthew fleet wouldn't last very long.

The 300 bombers all dived right for the station not even attempting to avoid AA fire. They knew much more was at risk.

"Fire the Philosophers!" Yelled the Air Marshal leading the charge.

Philosopher bombs were very large EMP type bombs. They blew the array to pieces, but it took quite a while. they only hoped the Matthew fleet would survive. Because if they died, the mission was failed. And it would take weeks to build a fleet large enough to rival that of the communists.

The bombers lost about 2/5 of their numbers; almost all were damaged in some way or another. Once they landed at the airfield more engineers came out, as a few pilots rushed to the small hospital near the base. One literally had an AA bullet stuck in his leg.

[The Matthew Islands]

International waters between Independent Hitmen and Erid Loi.
Sailors from the Home Fleet watched as the large shells fell just short of the bulk of the fleet. It was odd that they seemed to be firing blindly large shells at them. The Missiles that followed were more of a concern, however the large distance between the missile launch pads and the fleet allowed plenty of time for the fleets counter measures to be activated and the missiles were destroyed, save for a few stray shots which hit 2 Carriers destroying 1 and damaging the other, as well as destroying an Amphibious assault ship, 5 Frigates and 3 Destroyers, causing damage enough for the ships to be abandoned and scuttled.

In response, the Fleet began to move more quickly to the coast of Dukopolious until they were able to begin cruise missile attacks on coastal targets. Meanwhile Submarines of the 5th squadron off the coast of Dukopolious near the cannon relay surfaced and launched 5 cruise missiles at the cannons.
