The savages were surprisingly technologically advanced.
Their religion prohibited the harming of trees, which set them back a bit, but their progress in the field of metal was impressive.
Their weapons were made from solid iron, and each Native was physically strong.
Hell, EVERYTHING was either made of metal or rock.
Their books had iron covers and tin pages.
It was almost a shame to do away with this civilazation.
Already, Dominion forces were rolling across the Fields of March, towards the native's biggest city of Gholein.
Tanks, APCs, IFVs....
Capital Ships.
Inquisitor Dominic, with great sorrow, announced a Crusade on Gholein.

[A Continent of Planet Reach]

Nola 'Shameiofkljha'geeh watched as the Sky People advanced in their boxes-on-wheels towards their city. In front of the Gate, musketeers and pikemen stood in formation, ready to take the intruders out. The great cannons on the watchtowers turned to track the Sky People, then fired.
To his surprise, however, the cannon balls seemed to have just bounced off!
While the cannoneers reloaded their guns, the musketeers raised their muskets and opened fire.
The Metal-Boxes-on-wheels were unfazed and continued their charge.
This time, it was the pikemen's turn to regain the People's honour.
They stuck their pikes out, but the Sky People must've been idiots to continue charging.
To his amazement, the metal-boxes snapped the pikes and advanced into the formation.
Pikemen and musketeers were trampled and crushed buy the invincible boxes.
When he looked up, Nola saw the Giant-Sky-Boxes descending upon the city. They fired lightning at the Great Gate and destroyed it, allowing the boxes-on-wheels to roll through.
It was the beginning of the end for the People.

"GO GO GO! The Corps ain't paying us by the hour! KEEP MOVING!"
The members of the 176th Mechanized Infantry Division rushed out of their APCs and took cover behind a steel building. Around the corner were native musketeers who were keeping the Infantry pinned down.
Private Walker, who was on the APC's AutoLaser, forced the Natives to take cover with a quick barrage. Sergeant Deen then led his squad around the corner and vaporized a Native's head as he peered out of his limited cover.
The City was getting swarmed by the 1st Army: roughly 10 million men. The tanks fired on a building in the distance, which promptly collapsed. Native warriors tried to shoot them, but the musket shells either missed or were deflected by the Bodysuits. The pikemen were gunned down ruthlessly, before they could even get close enough to swing.
Within 20 minutes, the Marketplace and the Downtown area were theirs. The Natives were falling back.

[A Continent of Planet Reach]

The Warriors had all gathered in the Grand Fortress.
The few remaining Warriors had decided to make their stand here, where the People's greatest Chieftains slept. Around 20,000 Warriors were left, and with 500,000 People to protect, an attack was not an option.
Holo 'Makjahemeert checked his musket. It had a crack running along its barrel, caused by one too many gunpowder explosions used to propel the shells. He looked around, and observed as his fellow Warriors donned their steel cuirass and checked their weapons. Some had thrown their weapons away and were holding bags of gunpowder - ready to be lit up.
The whole Fortress then started to shake. Muffled explosions could be heard outside the walls. Eventually, the wall gave and the Demon soldiers poured into the room. Holo hefted his musket and opened fire, but the Demons seemed unfazed.
Those who dropped their weapons set fire to their bags and ran at the Enemy. The explosions filled the room with smoke, but Holo could clearly see the corpses of several Sky-People. The rest of the Warriors charged. The bright red flashes of the Dominion's laser weaponry were the last things they ever saw.

DOMINION VICTORY REPORT
Citizens of the Dominion can now rest assured that the new planet, Reach, is completely safe!
Just a few hours ago, our brave boys had breached the Natives' Capital and defeated them. Viewers may remember the shocking footage of Tribesmen brutally beating one of our Medics to death.
So what now with the surviving tribespeople? As the aforementioned footage clearly indicates, the Natives are a savage, warlike bunch.
The Emperor, blessed be his mercy, has decided to reeducate and rehabilitate the Native population into our society as responsible citizens, free from their bloodthirsty warmongering of the past.

Tensions were DEFINITELY rising here. In response to recent events, the Emperor has permanently stationed the 4th Fleet on <insert planet name here>

General Tanner looked on into the small bay that held the experimental subjects: the AIIF. Their small and agile bodies had light and flexible chitinous armour that undulated along the length of the creatures, almost like an insect's exoskeleton, only much harder and stronger. They had been recently made at the commission of Izsha and had incredible battle potential, as well as being strong in mind. They were semi-intelligent and had a sort of 'subservience'- they knew who was boss and wouldn't budge from their position of loyalty once it was firmly entrenched in their minds, but had thinking processes that could analyze the situation and find the best path to take. They could mean the re-introduction of cavalry as an effective strike unit, due to their armoured bodies and high speed, which allowed them to fill the position that had been left vacant since the advent of the gun. Most bullets would bounce or be deflected off the slick, steel-like armour, and only extremely high powered bullets would get through. Though there were gaps around the joints of the armour, these were extremely small and only the most skilled snipers could shoot accurately through one of these while the AIIF was running at full speed- something like 75 kilometers per hour. They were not without their own weapons and featured extremely sharp appendages, almost like tusks, that extended out of their shoulder blades towards their enemy. Their fangs and claws were also extremely sharp, designed by genetic evolution to rip and tear at meat. The main problem in their use as a cavalry unit was the human who rode it- though he provided ranged combat and intelligent direction, he presented a target all too easy to shoot or snipe while riding. Already scientists were working on the Kineticium that had been discovered in the First War, attempting to create a material that absorbed shock well and was extremely light, almost like metallic Kevlar that was able to deflect bullets rather than stop penetration. Tanner jumped backwards suddenly as the scientists threw in the AIIF's lunch, a full goat, stunned and anesthetized. The AIIF had been upon the animal instantly, and within ten seconds the flesh was gone and the brilliant creations were crunching into the bones of the goat, actually eating and digesting them. He smiled as he walked out of the underwater facility into the sub waiting for him at the entrance. This would be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Edward smacked his head on the table yet again, reprimanding himself for not thinking of the idea. Somewhere he could put all his money during a war and not worry about it getting taken if the country was conquered! ONF's new bank had filled the only vacant position, and Iievius had lost the opportunity to have other nations shy away from attacking them due to having their money in their banks. He hit his head again on the table, but he was quite relieved that the bank had opened. Finally, there was somewhere to dump all of his stuff!

They were most definitely NOT natural. He had never seen them before, not during the time he had lived on this planet. No-one ever had.
They were efficient killers, that was for sure.
If those things broke out, it would be a problem.
The Fleet would observe, but if those things so much as twitched at a human, they would meet unyielding destruction.
