Near the west of Taiwan:

The Navy had been crippled, but the Marines and Air Force were still in the fight. Midway was too hot to go in without a Navy, so the next target to go was to Taiwan. Stories had told that The battle in Taiwan had been something like the Battle in Midway. Under the cover of darkness, and with radio silence, Libre Borinquen forces were able to slip into Taiwan with Japans permission, and began to help the Japanese soldiers on the defense of the island. Libre Borinquen planes requested permission to Japan to land their planes at Taiwan. The showdown was about to start. Libre Borinquen soldiers knew the drill if enemy shells or planes attacked the island. Taiwan was similar to Libre Borinquen, which came to advantage for the Marines if the enemy even succeeded in landing. It was a waiting game.....

Vice Admiral Robotnik stepped out of his aircraft after it landed safely at the Lotrabme Midway forward base. The troops had begun reloading fuel and ammo, and doing matenance work as well as setting up 50 Anti Air Cannons around the base. The Vice Admiral went to a telegram post and began to type this message to the GEIJD:

To the Leaders of the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia:
Greetings, I am Vice Admiral Ivo Robotnik of the Lotrabme forces partaking in our war plans first stage, If there are any major conflicts within this war that we can reach, then please contact me, we are setting up a base camp on Midway Islands west coast. Thank you for your time.
Vice Admiral Dr. Ivo Robotnik

At Midway, the Japanese were more than happy. However, in Kyoto, was even better...

Taiwanese Plot...

"Arigato gozaimasu. Please set up a strong coastal barricade, as well as we have other suggestions," said a Taiwanese Commander of the 4th Taipei Corps, smiling in glee as he watched the Libre Boriquen forces sneak into Taiwan under the cover of night. The idea of using Taiwan's landscape to one's advantage was an excellent idea indeed it was. In addition, the large, overwhelming Librean military force, that has arrived to the island, has made the situation all the more better, all the more easier, should the enemy even dare to invade the island. After the permission was given, as well as having successfully brought the Libre Borinquen forces into Taiwan, through sneaking channels, making them port at a place the enemy would never suspect, everything was coming into proper place. Soon, all would go as planned, in fact, so perfectly one could never imagine how well planned it could even get.

With a guerrilla war in mind, as well as using Taiwan's environment to one's advantage, the enemy would be nearly reduced to rubbish, if they tried to invade Taiwan. Japanese fleets were bogged down in heavy fighting with the Quendi as well as others, trying to stall them long enough, for Taiwan to fully muster her defences. If an invasion should indeed come, it will not happen without challenge, or without a bloodbath. It would soon become obvious to the enemy, that Taiwan, would be the most difficult place to conquer, second to Japan. On the streets of Taiwanese urban areas, people were ordered to flip over their cars, buses as well as trucks, to make barricades in the streets, as well as using as leverage, for the militian guerrillas or snipers, or as shooting platforms, to gun down any charging force.

Another set of preparations was being made. At the beaches, barricades of sand bags, cement, as well as placing land mines, claymores, improvised explosive devices, anti-tank explosive traps, spikes on the ground to severely wound enemy foot soldiers or flatten enemy tires, as well as C4 traps, with wires on the ground (of which if one trips over it, either activates a trap door with traps, or sets a bunch of explosives off). Many other sorts of traps were being prepared, including gasoline explosives, as well as artesenal bombs. In the forest trees, cages filled with wasps, would be opened, at the slightest sighting of enemy forces marching into that area, unleashing these venomous creatures unto their foes. On the ground, cage traps filled with venomous snakes, or scorpions, were also being prepared. All of these primitive, yet efficient tactics, would cause the enemy trouble indeed.

Some Taiwanese, Chinese, as well as Japanese civilians, were working in trenches, digging tunnels for the Imperial army to hide foot soldiers, supplies as well as hospitals underground, to sneak them around. Taiwan, may have some sort of a Vietnam like environment. Thus, every opportunity was made, to ensure the success of the plan. Vietnam style tunnels were being dug all over Taiwan, to position guerrillas, munitions, supplies, etc. underground. At the same time, the Taiwanese guerrillas, were officially named, the "Taiwan-Tigers". Taiwanese people, as well as Chinese, proudly moved around, calling themselves such, as they could not wait for the invasion to come to them.

Japanese troops, began to distribute special plans. All over Taiwan, food was being reorganized into rations, to prevent supplies from falling, should the Taiwanese ground front, last longer than 9 years. Everyone on the island would be ready to fight. No one feared anything, all they wished to do, was show they could do anything, to defend their homeland. Water, in abundance, was not rationed. All that had to be done, was to use the many natural fresh water sources in Taiwan, to keep everyone's thirst under control. In addition, around homes, shutters were placed on the windows, while doors were barricaded with furniture. Inside each individual person's home, was an organized system of defence. Spikes were on the floor, while the walls were layered with C4, in case enemy troops did capture a house, the inhabitants would blow it up, including the troops inside.

At the cities, barricades of anything the civilians could find, were being made, while those whom volunteered for guerrilla service, were preparing their weapons, as well as training for the war soon to come. In Taipei, Military HQ was contemplating whether or not to request reinforcements from the mainland, or to request extra aid from their allies. However, one thing was for sure. This war, would be a success, as more allies came in to jump to Japan's assistance. More yet have soon to come. Yet when they do, the tide of the war, was sure to change...

OOC: My response to Libre Borqinuen. Speaking of which, did you actually purchase all these Lyran planes?

With the return of thanks, the vice admiral went about his way organizing the troops on midway, he then called for them to secure the beaches around the base and be sure any of the Japanese bases on the Island were well defended.

Meanwhile, en route to the Phillipines the 700 aircraft who had flown there were prepping for a bombing raid on the nearest enemy base. Some scout plans were sent ahead to check for nearby bases from of the Quendi

The day, was as great, the Sultan was asked to do a police action, and move into this region, to support the Japanese. He had released many ships, Destroyers, battle ships, Submarines etc. While a horn, signifying the coming of the ship, the Naval soldiers waited, as Sultan Etai said "Victories, are not easy, Victories aren't accomplished on only the power of one, it is all of us. Now, four thousand of our bravest men are being sent, we will send more. Just we need to see the level. Our Japanese allies have called us to eradicate there enemies, and we answer. To war, it shall help all of us, your After life will be full of freedom, there will be no greater thing, now, you must defend Taiwan, we were slow into this due to a few... troubles. Now, I demand service, if you retreat, come here, and we shall help. Call in all enemy fleets to, You are called. Now come back whole. Your mission. Defend Alaska. Attack the Tehraani fleets, and, Defend the island of Taiwan. For our nation. For our god. We make them fall for our community. not the other way around, you may go." Imam walked to his Limousine, which slowly drove away, as the Naval officers ran to there stations, yelling in Arabic, Pilots running into there planes to prepare them for the coming fire, the Admiral blew on his whistle, and said to the fleet on the radio, "Men, follow me, were heading for Taiwan, then, well blow through the Tehraani fleet, god speed men. Set speed to Ten Knots, and be prepared to fight through hell and high water." he cut off as they sped up, getting orders to head to Sri Lanka, in an effort to help GEIJD with divine protection, the Admiral, Yusuf Jasarad, he looked at the sea, smiling then turned to his deck crew "we are the ones who shall fight them as hard as if they slapped us in the face, which this is, we must annihilate them from this island." The Deck crew yelled yes sir, as a whistle was heard, and a voice said "Sir, we have possible high land, could cause difficulties" the Admiral looked out the window, and said "How deep?" the Officer responded "possibly fifty meters" the Admiral looked back and said into the radio, saying "merge right, we are heading into High lands." the fleet merged left, as the Admiral looked in the sky, he when he got there, it would be hell. He sent a telegraph using the GEIJD, saying:

The Great Asian War [MT, Semi-Open]

Postby Patoma » Mon Sep 12, 2011 8:31 pm

After several attempt at trying to broker a deal between all of the parties involve in this war, it seems like the inevitable is about to happen. Wisky Badmouse was not a happy women the morning after sending a letter to the international community and no reply was sent from any of the nation in this war. She decide that she was going to take up on the advice of her advisers and actually appoint the nations top commanders to oversee this mission. She was not going to allow those terrorists to attack her allies and get away with it. She is going to dispose her ultimate power at the disposal of the Japanese and it's allies.

Earlier the next morning, she called the Minister for National Security and Rehabilitation and had her work and creating an inept analysis of the situation that we have at hand. Honorable Mrs. Falsie Heisenberg, was at the time surprise, mainly because since our Independence, non of our leaders have actually many any attempt to get involve in any form of way, but more importantly, she was not sure that we are doing the right think.

"Good morning Falsie," the voice on the phone echoed. Honorable Falsie could kind of recognize the voice, but the bad dream she had been having had totally made her lost her mind.

"Morning, your excellency. How was you night?"
"O as you know, we had been discussing about a possibility of our nation engaging in a war, well, it seems it has come to that. That has been what has made my night a pretty rough one."
" I have not been having a great night either, since you told me about it last week, I have been think about it greatly. I know our army is capable of handling the task, but are we doing the right thin here?"
"Don't worry, I assure you, its all for the right reason. I will like you to get in contact with Commander Rehash Bolderg, who I have assign the commander in charge of this mission. He as proven very effective over the last few years in the last administration and am sure you guys will make a great team. I want you all to personally report to me on every step that you take in this conflict "

"All right, your excellency, I will get in touch with him tomorrow morning so we can work something out. I am sure we will make an awesome team.

Kyoto, Japan

With the 1st & 2nd Fleet patrolling in the surrounding waters, the Cargo Ships unloaded their deadly cargo.

Deadly VX Agents and Anthrax. A choking combination to force the enemy to take an extremely cautious approach to low areas.
Incendiaries - Napalm & White Phosperous. Impossible to put out, it was pure doom to any infantry man it ignited.
Weapons-Grade Uranium. This would allow the GEIDJ to create their own weapons of radioactivity. In time of course.
Nuclear Shells. Obviously a last-case defense against invaders, it was the Comraden equal to Scorched Earth Policies.

The Sailors were incredibly nervous unloading their final pieces of cargo. Three Tsing-1 Nuclear Missiles. A single 250-Megaton warhead, this was a large gamble. If it missed, a large amount of uranium and fuel went down the drain. But if it hit, the results would be incredibly destructive. In a sense, if it hit most islands in the Pacific, well, those islands wouldn't exist anymore.

As the crew returned to their Cargo Ships and waves goodbye to the cheering Japanese people, they sailed back to their own nation. Where they would fight their own war. For Comrade Commisar, their role in the Great Asian War was temporarily over.
A complete mess of a nation known in-character as the 'North Lands'; populated by pious priestesses, wandering mercenaries, violent bandits, and various internal power struggles. Be careful of who you deal with.

Basically, a decentralized feudalistic society ranging anywhere between medieval and interwar.

In Kyoto, the people cheered at the news of Comrade Commissar's generous donation of supplies to fuel the hungry war machine. In addition, Seii Taishogun Uchiha Madara, sent a message to the Arabic fleet coming their way,

You have our permission, Comrades. May we win this cursed war!

At the same time, Japanese officials laughed as they heard news of yet another supporter joining the war. Yes, Patoma, was said to be supporting Japan as well as her allies. It was time, time for a great war to erupt. The whole world would shake at the very might of this conflict. One, that shall forever be remembered in history...

Midway

With the original naval fleet low on ammunition, the reinforcements were forced to provide the counter attack. the 13 remaining cruisers fired another volley of anti ship missiles. This time they were directed toward the Dystopian fleet. Despite the difficulty the Imperian Fleet had with Libre, Dystopia had an equally difficult time with the cobran forces before their annihilation. The Japanese had already lost over 20,000 Soldiers and an unknown amount of noncombatant personnel (you said so before). Imperia had lost 1,200 Crewman, 100 marines, 5 battleships, 2 transport ships, 5 Destroyers, 4 Cruisers, 1 Carrier, 40 Super Hornets, and 30 A10s since the battle started three days ago. Nearly all of the lost forces were from the Larger Libre fleet, which the Imperians were able to cripple. The crew was not intimidated by the Japanese attacks. They refused to slow down in their performance until midway was taken. With the new allies in the battle, Midway was a sure victory. As the Japanese fleet tried to approach the Imperians, Admiral Andrews ordered the fleet to maintain a safe distance away from their battle ships. He saw that the Dystopians were using similar tactics as their allies had. While Andrews kept a calm head, Montgomery's respect for the enemy CO continued to decline. Their idiots, Montgomery thought to himself, Their following the same tactics as their predecessor, its almost as if they want to die, the enemy has even proved to be foolish with their weapons. They had spaced themselves out to far, giving our missiles an easier time to hit them. The damage they will receive from this strike should be cataclysmic for their morale at the least.

While the large volley of anti-ship missiles raced toward the dystopian fleet, the 120 remaining F/A-18 Super Hornets also engaged the Dystopian fleet. Many of them fired multiple missiles at the enemy ships. They continued their tactics used on the Libre fleet. They flew low and in between the Japanese ships often, causing any anti air fire that missed to hit one of their own ships. The tactic had proved effective against the larger enemy fleet only a day ago. The pilots were sure to spread their fire and avoid clustering all of their missiles at 1 ship. While 30 of the Super Hornets were not yet in the air, they were being scrambled as fast as possible to keep the pressure on the Japanese. the 10 Submarines, yet unharmed by enemy attacks, began to engage the enemy. Having seen the minefield surrounding the island, many of the officers wondered if the Japanese were going to run into them in any attempt to get closer to the Imperian fleet. Regardless the submarines were sure to keep their distance from the mines. Each of the Submarines fired 2 of their torpedoes at once. They aimed them at the enemies cruisers. They were ordered by Andrews to leave the enemy battleships be. After firing their first wave, the submarine crew worked as fast as they could to reload the launch tubes. The Imperians had told GEIJD in their declaration of war that they would show them no mercy, they intended to keep that promise.

At the time, it was sure of the victory of the Japanese people, but some men had there doubts, Terrorist groups were gripping the nation, as if they wanted nothing else, they respected the Japanese, in many ways, as they were defending there homeland. As the fleet saw another fleet in the sun line, the Admiral said "We were given permission for terror tactics, as One and a half million men are joining this war, most of them destined for death." he touched the side of his head, as men on the deck put up signs of support, a fist raised in the air, the Admiral responded to the man's telegram
Code: Select all
Got it, we are approaching, we shall be carrying possible nuclear war heads. We would like to inform you we plan on attacking northern Sri Lanka.
In the subs, the speech of Yurad Al-Sarad rang through them, the mood, cold. The voice said "We are enacting a holy war against the enemies of the GEIJD, we feel we have the right, Allah gave to us, we are supporting the war in MANY ways, we are sending the army to fight them, we will attack them on strategic locations, we will act sneakily, we will act silently. We are a new age, the Radicals are here, now, we shall send more men, to every one of those five thousand men, come home safely." His voice cut out, a new stance to the war was approaching, as they would send hordes of extremists to the fields, the target's labeled, out of the naval bases, in the Gulf of Aden, and the Persian gulf. ten thousand men would head to the Australian front, accompanied by Warthogs, Subs, Battleships. it would take many miles, days. They knew, as the men covered there heads, and wore Tagelmusts, Turbans, caps, helmets, or nothing, they knew the cost, there was a high percentage of a chance of death, as they prepared, twenty thousand men prepared for Taiwan, another thirty thousand men prepared for the Philippines, and one hundred thousand men prepared to meet the force of the Tehraan near Palau, all knew the cost, War never changes.

"In ancient times, the rise of the Yin dynasty was due to I Chih, who served the house of Hsia; the rise of the Chou dynasty was due to Lu Ya, who served the house of Yin. Therefore, enlightened rulers and good generals who are able to obtain intelligent agents as spies are certain for great achievements. This is essential for warfare, and what the army depends on to move."
SIC: The Intelligence...

In Miyazaki, an order was issued to prepare a secret intelligence service plot, to hijack information from the enemy. The dreaded Imperial Sino-Japanese Pan-Human Pan-Asian People's Liberation Top Secret Kempeitai KGB Military Intelligence (ISJPPPLTSKKMI), was gathering 600 spies, to reprogramme as moles, that sneak into enemy territory, to obtain information. The plan was to smuggle them secretly into cargo freighters, then send them into Tehraan, as well as New Imperia, to obtain information about their military resources. These elite spies, were efficient in all their means of obtaining information. They were highly trained as well as highly experienced. In addition, it was time at last, for Japan's foes, to truly know what the ISJPPPLTSKKMI was capable of. These 600 ninja, were assembled at the Miyazaki harbour, with a veiled man, with no face showing to give the impression of a wraith, discussing the mission.

"I am going to assign your mission. It is to spy on Tehraan, as well as New Imperia. They have plans against us, which we need to discover. Good luck...hssss......" said the veiled man with a hissing snake like voice that sent chills into anyone listening to him.

The group was placed into cargo freighters, to be sent to their secret destination...due to arrive in 40 days from now...

OOC: If you somehow knew about this, is if you found the cargo freighter suspicious, so inspected them once it arrived to your shoreline.

Sighting of the Anemonian fleet...

Several lookouts on board Japanese supercavitated submarines, saw a huge fleet of Anemonian vessels, proudly flying their Anemonian colours, heading for Japan. This, was a storm of trouble. If these troops came, it would bring Japan to an end.

"Comrades!!!!! Anemonian vessels! Anemonian vessel!"

"Do not fear death, fear shame of defeat only. All 20 supercavitated submarines, move out! Engage the enemy!"

"Hai!"

"Bring in our 280 U-boats as well!"

"Hai!"

The Tenshii-1x9 class supercavitated nuclear submarines, as well as the U-boats, were now moving towards the Anemonian fleet, in preparation, for a surprise ambush assault...

International Waters

The MH-60R Seahawk was the workhorse of the Anemonian destroyer force. In the 2000s, with the replacement of the Type 42 and Kongo class by the Atago and Type 45, respectively, a new multirole helicopter was quickly adopted by the Imperial Fleet to provide them with necessary updates to the IFAM's ASW coverage. Carrying three Mark 50 torpedoes, an AN/APS-147 multimode surface search radar and an AN/AQS-22 airborne low frequency dipping sonar in its default loadout, the helicopter was utilised by the Imperial Fleet as an anti-submarine warfare helicopter capable of detecting, hunting, engaging and defeat the fastest, deepest diving submarines of the current generation through the use of highly effective electronics and munitions all optimised for the same, simple role. It was, simply put, any submarine's worst enemy.

Low 'whumps' echoed through the air. In the orange tinted light of the dusk skies, across the empty seas, it sounded over the crashing of the waves and the faint gust brushing across the cloudless skies, over open oceans upon which the gleam of the setting sun shone out in a cacophony of bright colours, heralding the fall of the day and the coming of the night.

Skimming low across the ocean's surface, a single helicopter cut through the air, kicking up a slight ocean spray in its wake. Black rotors spun rapidly atop a grey airframe barely visible to the naked eye from above; camouflaged within the churning waters of the seas over which it flew, the helicopter quietly and invisibly continued its mission. A single, yellow roundel bearing an anchor in its centre rested beside the aircraft's registration number on the helicopter's tail; nestled on the side of the helicopter itself was an emblem portraying an olive crest superimposed over a harpoon, bearing the words 'IFAM Ortel'. Behind it, it dragged a large object through the sea at low speed, attached to it by a thick cable; on patrol, the helicopter had deployed its dipping sonar for submarine detection. Three Mark 50 torpedoes gleamed ominously on the helicopter's weapons hardpoints; it was equipped to hunt, and made no effort to hide it.

"Uh, Ortel, we're continuing along our designated flight path, over. Nothing to report as of now." The ATO, looking over the map on the display in front of him, glanced at the pilot, receiving a nod in return; as the destroyer's CIC responded positively, he switched off the radio, returning his hand to its resting place on the yoke. A faint green light shone within the cabin; the night flying illumination had been set up within the helicopter, but with their flight due to end in twenty minutes or so, the crew itself optimistically believed that they wouldn't need to use their own optics. In the worst case, after all, they could rise to a slightly higher altitude and fly in IFR. Still, they were able to see and fly straight, at least under the dusk sun; scratching his head and leaning back, letting the pilot do the work, he wondered whether they would have enough sun to make it back to the Ortel. DDGs, after all, had a remarkably small landing area, and that was on top of the fact that they would be operating within a crowded airspace.

A single 'ping' rang out through the cabin. His thoughts stopped suddenly, sharply, and deafening silence fell upon them, save for the faint shuddering of the rotors, until another 'ping', this time three in quick succession, sounded once more. This was bad. As the ASO quickly set up and monitored the tightly encrypted information uplink between their helicopter and the IFAM Ortel, from where their sonar reception would be released onto the taskforce's Fleetnet, the ATO reopened the communications channel between the helicopter and their mothership. He couldn't help but pass a wary eye over the sonar, on which the reception showed up very clearly... this was for real, right?

"IFAM Ortel, this is Albatross Two. We have a problem."

The Command Information Centre was suddenly bustling. He didn't notice it at first, looking over the operational orders he had been sent via FLINT, some sealed, some not, but it was as he lowered a sheaf of paper containing his operational Orders of Engagement that he looked up to see his adjutant standing at his side. "Sir, we have sonar reception from Albatross suggesting submarine contacts inbound at high speed, sir." The adjutant seemed worried, and the captain had to remind himself that the man was a junior officer, fresh from Navy Officer Academy North at Sailiei. His last, more competent adjutant had been promoted, and now served aboard another vessel. It was a disappointing state of affairs.

Pushing his papers off to one side, the commanding officer reached for the intercom unit. Thumbing it on, he called for his Executive Officer; the man came running from a corner of the CIC, where he had been talking with the vessel's Chief Acoustic Sensor Officer, or, in layman's terms, the sonar man. "Right, I need to know what's going on."

"Albatross 1 seems to have detected a rather significant submarine force heading our way, sir. They have a set of twenty submarine contacts moving at high speed in our direction without any declaration of intent issued as of two minutes ago, sir." The Executive Officer walked around the large table sitting in the centre of the CIC to where his commander stood in thought over the ROEs he had been issued for the duration of the mission; their contents had, for once, very specifically issued instructions concerning what to do.

"Is there anything beyond that I can hand to Thylshentyr?" he asked.

"20 contacts have been identified, sir. Their speed and the range of detection suggests a high operating speed and a noise signature far higher that normal; we suspect supecavitation of sorts, sir, the noise signature is more like a speedboat, not a submarine."

"Then the forces are Japanese." The commander's expression had relaxed, and the executive officer was nodding, glancing over towards the Acoustic Sensor Station for confirmation.

"Most likely, sir, none of our-" It took him a moment to notice that the commander was already walking towards the radio communications station, rules of engagement in hand. Looking after him, mildly bewildered, he made his way back to the sonar station feeling slightly queasy. This meant they were about to enter battle. Whatever that entailed.

Wake not the sleeping wyvern, for his wrath will be great.

Engagement orders were handed down within five minutes. Unlike most operations, Fleet Headquarters at Karonin had given the Taskforce a remarkable level of self-determination; it had, for once, given them permission to 'commence hostilities provided a degree of risk posed to Anemonian assets'. With the enemy force confirmed as Japanese, and having failed to declare themselves to Anemonian forces, the threat posed by the enemy force was sufficient to permit the Taskforce commander to order a state of alert. The helicopter from IFAM Ortel was ordered to continue shadowing the enemy force until further notice; as it did so, the taskforce deployed a large host of additional armed helicopters to the area; with a total of 352 deployable MH-60R Seahawks, there was no shortage of helicopters, and even if they failed the submarine component of the force was deploying around the taskforce, ready to engage and eliminate any enemy survivors. As it stood, the plan was a simple one designed to counter a simple attack.

Engage and destroy.

Canisters. Dark and ominous, bearing bright markings, were quietly pushed across the cluttered deck of the carrier towards a waiting aircraft. The roaring of their engines already echoed out through the cold air, and it was almost as though a point of finality was reached as the weapons crew quietly installed them onto the fighters, running through a series of pre-flight checks with care and precision before hurrying to their standby points. The fighters slowly, deliberately began to roll into action; as one was pushed and placed on its place on the catapult, the ground crew waving into position in flashes of fluorescent movement, the radio chatter within the fleet began to increase tenfold. There was no point in hiding their existence; war was upon them.

With one engimatic movement from a crewman atop the Thylshentyr, one of the Rafales shot into the air with a roar in its wake. Several soon followed; a handful of other carriers were launching similar aircraft with identical loadouts into the rapidly darkening sky. Within minutes, they were already out of sight, and the operation could continue. General orders were handed down, and the relevant ships of the fleet prepared for engagement.

The UUM-125B was a conventional, vertical launched anti-submarine missile which carried, as its payload, a single, high-performance Mark 50 torpedo. With a maximum range of over 65km, more than four or five times that of top of the line modern torpedoes, it gave Anemonian ships the ability to destroy enemy submarines well before they entered their own engagement range. Steam rose in thick, white gouts as VLS cells across the vessels of the taskforce were opened up; each contained a single one of these missiles, each capable of sinking an entire submarine effortlessly.

In the distance, the flights of Rafales neared their objective. From the canisters under their airframes, large and bulky, they began to drop large cylindrical objects across pre-planned flight paths; as they fell, parachutes began to blossom from the objects until, the fighters gone from sight, a flowering sea of parachutes slowly sank into the ocean waters. Each parachute carried beneath it a single sonobuoy; by peppering the location of discovery of the Japanese forces with the devices, the Anemonians had not only torn their invisibility from them, but shredded it; the powerful sonar would easily detect the enemy, and even if they didn't, the hundreds of Seahawks scrambled to the area waited with their dipping sonar for any sheep who strayed from the pack. Supercavitating submarines, the Japanese trump card, were, unfortunately for them, highly unsuited to combat operations; fast though they were, they provided in return an incredibly loud noise signature. And now that the sonobuoys had been planted, not only would the enemy supercavitating submarine force be clearly visible to the Anemonians, their lower grade U-Boats would also be revealed. Submarine warfare was a matter of all or nothing; the all was stealth, and the nothing was discovery. If one element of your force was discovered, the rest would fall in quick succession. Under the light of a darkening summer sun, the Anemonians had turned the Japanese submarine fleet from a mighty force into a submerged graveyard.

Seahawks hovered over the water expectantly. Sixty-five kilometres away, destroyers and cruisers waited with open VLS cells for orders. Each helicopter carried three Mark 50 torpedoes, and each VLS cell carried one Sea Lance, containing yet another Mark 50; the total was well above one thousand Mark 50 torpedoes, where even one of the weapons could effortlessly match and exceed the mobility of a supercavitating submarine vessel. A single Mark 50 torpedo could sink any of the vessels within the Japanese force, and one thousand of them stood arrayed against a mere three hundred submarines. No countermeasures or false returns would be able to diminish losses; with their sonobuoys in place, and an accurate map of the enemy forces in hand, Anemonian forces would easily be able to tell the difference between false and genuine returns. In short, the truth of the matter was short and sharp; sixty kilometres away from the Anemonian Fleet, nearly forty five kilometres away from where the submarines would be able to strike at the taskforce, the Japanese force was about to meet a watery death. But this was the price to be paid for incompetence.

The order was handed down. Torpedoes left racks, and Sea Lances shot into the air with a trail of bright flame and smoke.

The holocaust began.

OOC: Essentially, Japan, there's actually no way any of your submarines can get past this. Supercavitating submarines are too loud to be practical and not mobile enough to evade a Mark 46, let alone 50, torpedo; essentially, your entire fleet is going to sink, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. Nothing.

Rue your inability to comprehend naval warfare. Submarines are not to be used en masse.

OOC: In the event that GEIJD has any orbital weapons platforms, assume that I've launched Anti-Satellite Missiles in this post.

I would RP it, but it's kind of useless if he doesn't.

Pacific Theater, Asian Federation of Nations

The invasion of Symphonia and the AFN proper by GEIJD forces and those of their allies quickly forced the AFN command to pull back to defensive positions in the East Pacific and South Pacific. The Hokkaido Fleet, as well as the fleets destined for the invasion of the southern Japanese Home Islands, retreated back out of Japanese-controlled West Pacific.

OOC: I can't keep up with this, so I'm pulling out. Please consider this my temporary last post until I say otherwise.

The Kingdom of Peace has been following the actions done by the GEIJD for some time. This recent conflict Japan is fighting in, includes the Quendi Empire, and the Austrian, Bohemian, Hungarian Empire, both allies of the Kingdom of Peace through the ICLC. The GEIJD cannot be allowed to run through the World, destroying and subjugating nations. Consider this a declaration of war.

~Signed, Her Majesty Queen Sandrilene of the Kingdom of Peace, Duchess of the Imperial Duchy of La Aquitaine, Queen of the United States of Peace, Queen of the Regional Area, Queen of the Western Coastline

King Michelin watched as the message was sent to the GEIJD, worried that the Kingdom of Peace would be biting off then it can chew. Already, it was beginning an Invasion of North Colitas, a puppet of New Freedomstan, and this war would not improve the Kingdom's chances of Peace.

Seii Taishogun Uchiha Madara...

In the Kyoto Bunker, a letter from the United World of Peace, was sent to Japan. Uchiha Madara, merely laughed at the letter, declaring it was time to prepare phase II. To prevent future enemies from reinforcing any theatre of war, the plan was to use a strategy of trapping any future enemy fleet into a bogged down situation, holding them at bay long enough, for the Japanese command to mount a counterattack.

In addition, a response was sent

Meanwhile the 700 airship fleet heading over the phillipines spied a base from 'of the Quendi' and preped their missiles for launch, a volley of Air to ground and heat seakers was set in a barrage on the Quendi base. Some of the ships flew over the japanese Phillipines post to declare a successful bombing.

Meanwhile on Midway Island, Vice Admiral Robotnik was preparing to send another group of airships over the rest of the Island to take out an enemy base nearby, though first he procured from his forces a group of 10 scouts to move into the island to check out the enemy forces there. The Vice Admiral then called in to Mainland Lotrabme for more forces to arrive..

There is no possible way for us to evacuate 120 000 civilians short of sending practically our entire airforce. At this point in time, we shall send 20 Airbus A400M's to evacuate civilians. We are aware that our C5 Galaxies have already evacuated approximately 300 Taiwanese civilians. That leaves 119 700 civilians left. Our Airbuses can perhaps evacuate another 3000 civilians. I strongly advise your government ask for humanitarian help from other countries. I personally cannot stand the idea of leaving over 100 000 civilians, but we have no means to transport them. The civilians will be sent to live in large camps.

The massive plane touched down in Isolated China. The pilots looked at the steady flow of people rejoicing as they touched peaceful grounds. These civilians would not endure the ravages of war.

The tents were everywhere, hiding the green expanse of the hilly landscape. The tents were brightly emblazoned with a stylized wolverine with a red cross in the background, the calling card of the Royal Larb Humanitarian Society. Food was delivered three times a day in the form of bread, water, and some beef. War rations, but the refugees were free to walk into neighboring towns and buy something nice.
Jackets with the Society's logo were worn by the camp supervisors, who made sure nothing went wrong. All the evacuated civilians had been frisked before being flown out, but you could never be sure. Besides, you could hit someone pretty hard with a spoon, and that was what the supervisors were there to look out for.
This was a sad moment for those whom were deemed had to leave Taiwan. The Japanese military had an idea, however. War junks. Japan, had made an entire fleet of hundreds of metallic massive war junks, those ancient naval vessels of the East. They were massive superstructures, each capable of holding 10,000 people. Yet most of these ships were already filled with military personnel, with the intention of deploying them to far parts of the naval war. However, it just happened, that 12 war junks were available for the job. More than enough to carry the rest of the civilians to safety.

A reply was sent:

Code: Select all
We agree to let your airbuses carry an additional 3,000 more. However, we have 12 war junks close to Taiwan, available, to use as passenger ships. We shall carry the rest of the civilians into these war junks. However, we need your airbuses as well as galaxies to escort these ships, as well as assistance in disguising the boats, to make it so that no one knows which country they belong to. We need to move, under the cover of night...
