The council for interested sciences announced the schedule for the detonation of an experimental matter annihilation device.

when asked how the doctor thought the international community at large would react to matter annihilation as a power source the doctor responded " The device is not a weapon, so there should be no major outcry. It's theoretic yield is measurable in the 1 Kilo-tonne range so it is well below the standards set by the WA committee on nuclear testing and proliferation. "
Doctor O'Kaely went on to say "The WACNTP inspectors are invited to tour the detonation site and the assembly plant shortly after the detonation once we are sure there are no after affects which could prove hazardous to the inspectors.
