"Hmmm... authorise plan#1003948. We're annexing Greenland for the safety of Prizyetsa and her allies." the CO replied.
"Aye sir. Sending out the orders now."

SKIES ABOVE THE WATERS NORTH OF ENGLAND
NORTHERN EUROPE

A drone bearing the emblem of the IKAC silently moved over the sea. It relayed images of a Sovietyetan naval force circumventing the northern Prizyetsi-Kauvaran blockade.

Colonel Dylan Turner of the IKGF watched the images go by. "Well," he thought. "They're welcome to do what they must to engage the Kommandorians. So long as no civilians are put in danger, then there's no problem. Let 'em have their war; just keep it away from the innocent. However, relay the images to Vulpes. See what they want to do with this information."

Admiral Ulysses looked at his monitor. A report indicated that the Sovietyetans were making an incursion into the Atlantic. "Mm... An interesting development..." He proceeded to write a message to the First Imperial Fleet. They had orders to secure Cuba and the other Caribbean islands. The First Fleet was soon underway, packed with marines and engineers to establish bases on the mostly unoccupied islands.

General Tyzden also saw the message. Under orders from Emperor Or'yan, he was to send II Legion "Ballista" to secure the rest of Central America, right down to the border with South America. II Legion mobilized, and began securing the areas.

OOC: Basically just making a few little adjustments to Kauvara's map official. Since no other nation is in the area around those places, I didn't really go into much detail, since I don't think its necessary, and will only take up more space in the Darksnow War. If people want me to go into detail, I can, but since it really won't effect anybody, it isn't really necessary.

"Right gentlemen, thank you for coming on such short notice." Ingre-Mari Falasaami, the Prime Minister said, entering the room. "As most of you know, we are annexing Greenland to protect our Northern waters. It is an extreme move, but a nescesary one, I'm afraid."

One of the generals stood up. "M'am, I have a draft battleplan?" he said opening a black folder, pulling out a map of greenland. "The majority of the population lives in Nuuk, the capital. Nuuk not only houses a third of the population, but also an exelent potential naval port."
"Go on..."
"Well, there are about 19.000 people living in the area around the city, no high risers. We will roll in quickly. They will keep their national identity, but become Prizyetsi territory."
"Good, we will do that then." Ingre-Mari said, ending the meeting.

Te Icelanders were sure see monkeys and gave up as soon as large amounts of shell hit a large port and troops started shooting. The transpooerts were only half way there. With the annexation of Icelend they had a supply route. After refueling they would continue east to a drive in Greenland. They wanted to secure it as it would prove a cushion if Iceland was attacked from the east. From there they could finally turn south...

The first transports arrived in Nuuk and a second flagpole was raised next to that of Greenland. Now, both flags flew together. The people cheered as Prizyetsi National Guardsmen got off the transports and took positions in and around the city. SAM sites were created and fuel depots built. The Prizyetsi Navy went around the South end of Greenland and set up patrolls on the East and North sides of the island. Nobody would set foot on Greenland.

Simoultaniously, Prizyetsi troops rolled into Alaska, however nobody was there to greet them. It didn't take long to annex all of Alaska. North Amerika was now secure.

OOC can we update the map now please?

Ms. Falasaami,

Roger that. We are routing the 6452nd KF-11 Wing (OOC: 40 planes) to you now. They will land in Nuuk to refuel and be armed with whatever packages you need them to be! Once they arrive, they will establish a permanent base of operations there, and follow whatever orders you need to give them (OOC: basically, Prizyetsa now controls them). The KF-11 is one of the best multirole fighters Kauvara has to offer. They are highly-proficient in any role, although they suffer somewhat with air-to-ground (they're just too fast!). We will ensure their safety to the best of our abilities; each plane costs over $180,000,000, as it is even more advanced than the F-22 Raptor. They will be there within an hour and a half. The Angels of the Fox will rule the skies over Greenland!

Sincerely,
J. McCloud

The Lolzi CBG was bearing down on the Kommandorian Fleet, but Admiral Zelenskiy was scrambling to change the tactical situation. Because of bad intelligence, he had been moving to aid Kommandoria, convinced that the Soviets were still on their side. He was, of course, dead wrong, and now instead of being the second line of a defense, the carrier battle group had unintentionally cornered a dangerous dragon, which he predicted would try to fight its way out.

"Ready Plan Kilo!", he shouted, and immediately the preparations were made in the northeast, so that the first wave could be launched within half a minute of being ordered in. He was afraid the Kommandorians were about to attack, and he would take no chances. He also ordered the fleet to general quarters, and the carrier's Su-33Ds were readying up to engage whatever came their way. Meanwhile, the two Ticonderoga-class missile cruisers were preparing to launch anti-missile rockets, in case the Kommandorians decided to reach out with anti-ship missiles. The troop ships had been sent back to DSP-controlled ports, where they would hopefully be safer. Every ship still in the fleet was bristling with activity.

OoC: geez, when is the real fighting going to start?

iC: Recent inactivity in DSP positions had caused unrest within fortifications across the globe. It was now time that operation Darksnow commenced. The five companies that were initially planned to paradropped behind enemy lines whilst the armored devisions launched a frontal assault were now going solo. In staid of directly landing in Kommandoria, they were to drop north, in the brazilian area. There they would create temporary headquarters along the border, and harass the other side with mortar. Portable SHORAD missiles would also be dropped in incase the enemy tried to bomb or advance on them.

over the atlantic ocean, nearing south america

The rumble of the CP Aurora was felt through Private Shore's legs as the large aircraft roared through the dawning sky. He was in squadron 3 of 5 in Bad company. each squad contained ten disciplined men, some of which are the best the DSP had to offer.

"Hey, Ross, pass me a bottle." Shore asked, motioning to un-opened bottle of beer.

"Sure thing. Can't wait till we land. I've been waiting months for a fight like this! ever since the GK campaign ended, we've done nothing." Ross answered whilst throwing the bottle over to Shore.

"Well, that's all about to change." Seargent buchanen cut in. "We're expecting extreeme resistance, so do not pull the shoot until 150 feet. That's Half of what your normally suppost to, but you have a higher chance of getting shot otherwise.

"Alright, now we just wait untill the planes get there." Shore added.

They were closer than they thought, just 50 clicks away from their destination.

In the Galley Hall...

High Admiral Vito DiBartolo studied his visitors carefully. Though he had said to come unarmed, he could tell they had brought weapons. This damaged his trust of them, but increased his respect of them for their cleverness. He pondered the Kauvarans requests as he sipped 30-year-old champagne, chilled with ice from the glaciers of Kommandoria. As Gavenson continued to talk, DiBartolo's eyes wandered to one of the huge aquariums on the walls. He watched as a large shark devoured a small, weak barracuda and a tuna. Seconds later, multiple barracudas arrived and retaliated, severely injuring the shark. Shortly after that, both barracudas and tuna had arrived and finished the shark.

Gavenson: ...and that is our conditions. Acceptable?

DiBartolo: Indeed. I believe that cooperation would be highly acceptable. Trade routes could be established, and our militaries would be feared. I also believe that if the three of our nations were to join forces, we could easily bring down The Sovietyeto and The DSP. The future is as bright for all of us as the flames adorning our beloved flag.

Just then, a korporal leaned over to whisper to DiBartolo. DiBartolo frowned slightly and the korporal walked away. The High Admiral wiped his mouth with a velvet cloth and spoke.

DiBartolo: It has come to my attention that The DSP is making agressive advances into South America towards our many forts and bases in the Tierra del Fuego. While we can guarantee a strong, firm defense, it will not last indefinetly. Do you gentlemen believe you could spare some forces to aid our defences? The DSP is currently closest to Fort Skybreak in southeastern Chile. Any aid would be much appreciated. On a more pleasant topic, this Kauvaran wine is excellent! How is the Arctic lobster?

Meanwhile, at Fort Skybreak...

Class III Warrant Officer Alexei Nikitov scrambled about the fort barking orders. He had been informed of an impending assault by The DSP. Additional equipment and vehicles had arrived from the Fatherland. Sandbags and concrete smothered the fort's perimeter. Every pillbox was stuffed with machine guns and enough ammuntion to last for days. Artillery guns were cleaned and loaded. SAMs were activated and soldiers manned their stations. Nikitov grabbed a megaphone.

Nikitov: Attention! Due to the massive numbers of the enemy, we will be forced to use...unorthodox tactics. I want a few flamethrowers hiding in spider holes and snipers in the trees. Also, convert a few sandbags and logs into dummies and stuff them with grenades. Then place them at makeshift checkpoints.

Nikitov had read reports of the tactics used by the Draviousans in the Aldardan Oil Conflict. While he would never resort to using corpses, he would have no problem using dummies. Soon, all 12,000 soldiers at Fort Skybreak were battle-ready. Several hundred soldiers were hidden in trees and spider holes, virtually impossible to spot. Aircraft support was prepping at an airbase at the Fatherland. Night was beginning to fall...

General Gavenson sat at the table, considering the High Admiral's offer. "High Admiral, unfortunately, we cannot ally with you. In ord-" An IKSF operator cut him off, whispering something in his ear. Gavenson's brow furrowed. "It appears that we might have a mutual enemy... Sovietyeto is potentially going to make aggressive advances into Alaska, which was just annexed by Kauvara's ally, Prizyetsa. Should Sovietyeto continue, we would have to stop them. And, as the old Kauvaran saying goes: 'Seek the enemy of your enemy, and you will find a friend.' While I pray it does not come to that, if it does, we will stand by you in the Darksnow War."

The high command bunker was huge. Over 10 levels, thousands upon thousands of square meters filled with, among other things, controll rooms, comms centers, life support and the strangest feature, a food growing area. Yes, the facilities had the ability to grow its own food. The complex was also the emergency shelter for the capital city, Venji, in the case of attack from an outside force.

The comms center was as busy as a bees nest, messengers delivering to and from the comms processing unit, and officers monitoring communications. The latest reports were coming from Kauvaran sources, as well as the listening and decoding stations in the Canadian Rockies. The messages seemed clear, Alaska was under threat of attack, and it needed to be defended. And fast. The memo was placed in a black A4 envelope and sealed with red tape. It was top-secret information, eyes only. The messenger, a 2nd lieutenant, was dispatched, with 4 Administratii guards, to deliver it to the Prime Minister, Ingre-Mari Falasaami.

She opened the envelope and read over the memo. To be sure of what it said, she read over it again, slid it back into the envelope and gave it to the 2nd lieutenant, who took it to an incinerator to be burnt. Ingre-Mari reached for the phone and dialed a number which she had memorized by now. "Get me a messenger." was all she said, and then she hung up.

The navy had finished refueling. They could now travel for days, they had full tanks and a stockpile of ammo. They were to attack the Kommondorian fleet attacking their ally's soon. They simply had to go south east to Spain and fire on the enemy. The grey hulls of the ships and the red waterlines slid throughout the water with litte noise that could be heard to the naked ear.

OOC: Wait why is Lolzieristan suddenly thinking I'm an enemy??

High Admiral Vito DiBartolo finished his champagne and sat, deep in thought.

DiBartolo: This is good news! Of course we can help. We are more than accustomed to Arctic warfare.

He then focused his attention on the Prizyetsans.

DiBartolo: We would like to offer you a hundred of our Switchblade fighter-bombers. They excell at combat in freezing temperatures. This offer comes with no strings attached, as a sign of goodwill.

Another korporal whispered to DiBartolo.

DiBartolo: It appears that Fort Skybreak is on full alert but needs reinforcements. They have built a rough airstrip for your forces to arrive, should you decide to help us. As for our troops, we can't send any ground forces to Alaska but we can spare some of our fighters and bombers. Any questions or suggestions?
