Yeah, Like how Vietnam took out the US military. Sure, they weren't mercs, but it was the same set up. Small army takes on much larger army, using geurillia warfare, they defeated said larger army.

It's the U.S's Foreign Policy at the time that really caused all the trouble. The U.S was giving money to dictators as long as they weren't "Communists" even though the dictators were complete loons and offed on killing their own people.

If you know what I'm going to do before I do is a godmod, no matter how much you change it. You also seem to think the weapons on my ships aren't much to think about, so I'll give you a detailed explanation of what they can do.

On the rotating turrets for most Stryklan capital ships, the shell it uses weighs roughly two hundred tonnes. The electromagnets accelerate it to speeds that result in the round getting sixty trillion joules' worth of energy. A standard broadside fires off roughly twenty to twenty five guns. Since each gun housing mounts two railguns, that results in forty to fifty shots. So, multiplying sixty trillion by, say, forty five, we get 2.7 x 10¹⁵ joules. If I remember conversion from notation to normal numbers, than we get 2,700,000,000,000,000 joules. That's almost three quadrillion joules.

So we have 2.7x10¹⁵ joules for a single ship's broadside. And remember that I have a fleet of two hundred ships.

One, no its not a god mod, in fact in real life the US military uses intelligence on the battlefield to scope out situations and predict tactics. I am not saying I know what you are doing, but I have a pretty good idea.
Two , I am not going to say "Oh well looks like I lose" and yes I understand your ships are deadly,but my ships for now can take a punch. I am taking casualties, for sure, mostly on the ground at the moment. I will get to my casualties in space
