And the Necromorphs aren't all that terrifying, nor would the be anywhere near effective against either the Adeptus Mechanicus, or the Adeptus Astartes. Against the Guard, sure.

And really, I'm not scared of a faction thats basically going to be a mercenary force.

Well, given that all we'd have to do is drag an arc beam across it to tear it down [Or Heavily disable it], its not a huge threat. Especially since we could just create our own counter death star.. though that'd be a total waste of resources.

I thought you are using Covenant tech? Although no argument here, I have a few weapons capable of destroying planets. Only to to be used in the most dire of situations, of course.

Actually, its more of a Psychological warfare tactic. I don't think your citizens will be motivated to support a fight with somthing that utilizes somthing as disturbing as the necromorph. No matter what you say, any civilian would crap bricks seeing one of those charging at them. Especialy when we lauch them all across your planets, infecting cities.

Actually, its more of a Psychological warfare tactic. I don't think your citizens will be motivated to support a fight with somthing that utilizes somthing as disturbing as the necromorph. No matter what you say, any civilian would crap bricks seeing one of those charging at them. Especialy when we lauch them all across your planets, infecting cities.

If they can even get past the Planitary Defenses, every Imperial citizen would pick up a weapon and fight. And the Commissars would ensure they stand the line. And my citizens would be motivated to fight anything in the name of the Emperor.

Not to mention, since your going to be a merc force, probably in the employ of Shanix, I won't have to worry about it all to much.

Ahem, Necromorphs are deployed in Orbitary Pods, in other words, Necromorph spores will come down ALL OVER in pods, the spores will attack nearby people, causing them to slowly go insane [By affecting the brain], and kill themselves in large groups, becoming the first Necromorphs, they would violently attack other civilians, and I doubt EVERY citizen would be so courageous to pick up a weapon. Many would flee, causing the authorities problems because now you have mass panic, crows gathering in places, Necromorphs attack these crowds, creating larger problems. You cannot say that every citizen is a fearless warrior, unless you program them to be fearless, which would cost you trillions.

Also: On the flood, The flood need a grave-mind to operate, and do not use Geurilla tactics like Necromorphs, nor do they possess the intelligence or species diversity to defeat the Necromorphs.

Depends on what stage the flood have evolved to, early on perhaps, but Flood can use ships and weapons and with every person consumed they get smarter and develop better tactics.

Flood don't need a gravemind to operate.
