"Relax dear sir. As for the Brazilian people, we don't hate Byzantium, nor have we any bias with your country. In fact, we pretty much admirate how you held the Ummayyads in Constantinople, really ingenious... Even though you had to reduce your own city to rubble."

The patriarch thought. It was most likely the farthest he would get. "All right then. However, to ensure that we are not being robbed blind, not that I would ever accuse the Federation of such a thing, we would like to maintain a small military presence in one completely Byzantine city. Possibly in the North. Do we have a deal, Sir William?

The Korean delegate looked at the map of Africa, it was quickly filling up with other nations. He fancied expanding the borders of Korean East Africa, before it was too late.

"We would like to expand our protectorate south, into the Zambezi valley, and far enough inland to have access to Lake Kariba and Victoria Falls."

The delegate reached, and placed another Korean flag over the area, directly south of the previously sketched border of Korean East Africa.

He looked at the map before leaving. "I suggest you expand your territory inwards rather than southwards: it is a pleasant, fertile land to the west, and some valuable territory."

"Very well." The Korean delegate looked at both the Prussian and the Danish envoys. "Instead of moving south towards Prussian territory, we will claim the area surrounding the Katanga Plateau and Mutumba Mountains. It is directly west, inland from our current borders."

The Korean got up and moved a flag from Prussian territory to this new claim.
