I accept that Korea is accepting donations an making it's military bigger udon them. I also accept that Japan is doing the same. In case it does become war (I really hope we cam settle this without going in guns blazing) then you can do that, but dint do it excessively. Realize you have to supply train and arm those troops. You could expand your manpower, but not to the extent you have put. That would be numberwanking.

Another rule I'll have is this is strictly MT, but let's not use nukes, those ruin good, fun RP's fast. Threaten us with them is an option. But you can't use them.

War Minister Akihiro Yokomura, Prime Minister Toshiro Nokomodo, and the Commanders-in-Chief of the Anglo-Nihonnese Army Akira Fujito and Haruto Takayashi of the Imperial Anglo-Nihonnese Navy all stood in the presence of the Emperor of Anglo-Nihon. The audience of the Emperor was called at this late hour for a pressing matter that had arisen between a recent ally, Ganosia, and the forces of the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia and Korea.

"Your Imperial Majesty, Anglo-Nihon is faced with a dilemma concerning a possible conflict between Ganosia, her allies, and Korea and the Japan. I will defer to the War Minister, who has the reports necessary from earlier information." Prime Minister Nokomodo said.

"Indeed, Your Majesty, This war drastically affects the Asian nations of the world... in ways more than one. The forces of Japan have marched relentlessly across Asia, their close ally, Korea, spreading totalitarian threats of nuclear conflict..."

"Mr. Yokomura, please speak what you feel action should be." the Emperor said, in a calm and impartial voice, careful to keep within protocol and stay distant yet always aware.

"Your Majesty, the forces of Japan have insulted the honor of all those of the Japanese race. They have violated numerous humanitarian codes, and have paired with their equally threatening Korean allies to exert a new order all Asian and Pacific nations!" the War Minister said, anger reaching the top of his voice. "Our involvement is necessary! No honorable person lets such an offense go unnoticed! We should join our Ganosian allies and help to restore this honor to the Japanese people and the balance to Asia!"

The Emperor did not react to the War Minister's heated answer. "Mr. Yokomura, I was once told something by my father, the Emperor Heiwa. I would like to share it to all of those present here." He stopped, closing his eyes and looking down as if in rememberance. He opened them again, looking directly at the group gathered before him. "All Japanese people share a divine connection with the gods, and are bound by the same divine message. All people are children of the earth, if but for a day in realization of it in the wide scale of the world. And it is our utmost mission to see and realize this."

The Emperor stood, immediately followed by the assembled guests in his audience, indicating his departure. The Ministers and Officers together bowed deeply in unison, maintaining the bow until the Emperor had left.

"His Imperial Majesty has been clear, if vague as usual." Haruto Takayashi said to his colleague of the Imperial Anglo-Nihonnese Army.

Fujito took his cigarette out of his mouth, to speak as the pair walked in the terrace adjoining the Palace. "His Majesty's statement is but a mere formality. We should continue with the War Minister's plan. This war will affect us, as well as all peoples of Asia and the Pacific. Indeed, the balance is shifting, and our military weight must be placed properly."

Takayashi looked at his colleague. Such a filthy new habit he thought. And as usual, he stands as a war hawk. "We should indeed be wise in these affairs. But a diplomatic solution may yet be found to preserve the balance of the Pacific without military conflict. I believe we should vest everything we have in this endeavor until war is absolutely necessary. In the end, war in the Pacific does not benefit any nation that calls the East it's residence."

Fujito put out his cigarette, which was wearing down anyway. "We must always be prepared. And certainly the Army will be."

Takayashi gave a characteristic grin used when he had the upper-hand. "But, any expeditionary force will be conducted by the Navy, and I am sure if we do go to war, the Navy will be the participant with Ganosia and her allies."

Fujito looked at his colleague with a disdainful look. He did not speak, but left a bit stung.

Takayashi stopped, watching his colleague walk off. The Army always had such hot-headed leaders and aspirations. They could almost never play tactifully and realize the power and stance of the other nations they called enemy. He walked off, anxious to meet with his Admirals aboard the Yamamoto, one of the Imperial Anglo-Nihonnese Navy's senior aircraft carriers.

Commander-in-Chief Takayashi entered the room, as the Admirals present stood, dressed in the official black uniforms of the officers of the Imperial Anglo-Nihonnese Navy. Takayashi saluted members closest, as he took a seat. It was no sooner than that that he noticed his Chief of Staff, Nagoya, walking in a hurry from his same path. Nagoya was in his mid-20's, his youthful black hair outmatching Takayashi's already graying hair. Sometimes it reminded Takayashi that even though he was not old, he certainly could feel older than many here.

Nagoya reached him, saluting him as Takayashi stood and matched his salute. He presented two slips of paper. "Sir, a report from the Imperial Cabinet."

"If you could please read it aloud."

Nagoya looked at Takayashi, before reading the message for the first time.

"To Commander-in-Chief Haruto Takayashi, A message from the Imperial War Cabinet:

The Imperial War Cabinet has reached a decision on the situation in the Pacific concerning Korea and Japan and the allies of Ganosia and other participants and prefers that this message be relayed to all Officers. We have decided that it is in the best interests of Anglo-Nihon to opt for a state of involvement in the situation, which shall be at the jurisdiction and direction of our Navy's chief commander, Haruto Takayashi.

We however desire that Mr. Takayashi best observe the wishes for a state of diplomacy over war, and send a message of cooperation to Ganosia and her allies in this conflict. This statement should not be construed as a limitation to his ability to adapt to the situation, but as a focus to best depict strategy.

Officiated, the Prime Minister of Anglo-Nihon."

Takayashi stood silently at the message. Admirals looked to one another, unsure how to react.

"This is a disgrace!" one brave Admiral shouted. "We should go to war immediately! The actions of Greater Japan dishonor all in the Pacific!"

Takayashi observed this Admiral with intense seriousness. "If any Admiral here wishes to opt for war when the chances for peace and diplomacy are still avaliable, let him hand his official resignation to me immediately, and in this room!"

The gathered Admirals quickly looked straight forward, silent.

"Very well." Takayashi said after an climatc moment of looking around the room. "We shall dispatch a message to the nations involved and as well to our allies showing our Navy's cooperation. From this reply, I will meet with you again and expect strategy on your parts. You are dismissed. However, will the Fleet Admiralty staff please remain."

The Admirals stood, saluting him, as Takayashi slowly did the same, watching them as they left. He looked to the Fleet Admirals and their staff, who stood at attention. "We have a need to plan this."

It has been brought to our attention the situation that is arising between the states of Japan, Korea and their allies, Ganosia and her allies as well as other participants. It is our determination that the interests of balance in the Pacific must be maintained, and as such the government of the Imperial Anglo-Nihonese State has decided to support the initiative against the rise of Korea and Japan. However, we press that we desire a diplomatic solution to this conflict, feeling it will best benefit all sides and the preservation of the balance in the Pacific Asian states if an appropriate and fair diplomatic accord can be reached.

Takayashi sipped down the last of the tea he had prepared. It was relaxing in times of great stress such as this. He noticed as his Chief of Staff stood outside of the residence, awaiting receiving, obviously carrying something urgent.

Takayashi made his way to the sliding door, opening it and greeting Nagoya.

"Sir, I have a matter of concern I wish to be made known that is shared by several Admirals."

Takayashi nodded. "Yes?"

"Well, sir, later in the war, if we do participate in any aggression with Japan or Korea, well... our flag, sir. We could end up the victims of friendly fire."

Takayashi nodded, understanding. "Yes, I have thought about this as well. Do you have a solution you would like to share?"

"Two actually sir. What if we, perhaps, as our naval ensign, painted two red characters "A , N." on our flag to the left and right?" he indicated this on a small cloth flag. "It would be visible and different from the ensign the Greater Japanese Empire is likely to use."

"Very good Nagoya. I agree. I shall have it instituted." Takayashi said, appreciatevly.

"And sir, perhaps distributing some sort of identification cards?" Nagoya said, pulling out something else. "As there is a discrepancy between the flags used by both our forces, perhaps these cards will do. Easy for Westerners to understand."

Nagoya held a card, indicating a bold English line "Good Jap" and "Bad Jap", showing the appropriate ensign, with the same phrase printed smaller in Japanese below.

Takayashi sighed deeply, but could not help but grin at the cards. But this grin soon faded. "Indeed, Nagoya, perhaps it would be easiest for many to understand. But a problem does exist."

Takayashi looked up at the many stars in the sky, as the long night would give way to daylight and morning soon. "There are no good Japanese or bad Japanese, or by extension people in Asia or the world. There is only the Japanese people, and the dreadful conflict and reasons for it acting like a veil between us."

Nagoya nodded his head and bowed, leaving Takayashi in thought. He too shared the concerns of his superior, even if he hoped that Takayashi, a bit idealistic, could understand many in Anglo-Nihon did not.

Considering that our great nations border eachother, and that we have never had poor relations, would it be acceptable if we set up a flotilla of ships, and a marine invasion force to blockade, then perhaps attack Japan in the event that diplomacy falls through?
Although, with tensions mounting in our own area, may it be better to conserve forces elsewhere in the place we together call home?

As having great relations outside of public matters, we do hope that we can agree on a stance in this conflict. We are attempting to build a better, more unified front against Japan, as their military is obscenely powerful, even if they were to hold 90% paper divisions, which we feel is possible. The Cookish States is gathering a flotilla in preparation for a blockade and possible attack on Japan for Crimes Against Humanity and Crimes Against Soveriegnty. Alsaw's Aracionan language skills were limited to various orders to surrender and give up on their failed government since Aracion and Cookeland had been fighting since just after Greater Cookelands Federation. Another Archangel saw the confusion and interpreted for the Cookish, who understood the plan well. Alsaw took his men aside...

"Alright guys, this is it. Sabo and Salvador, you guys get the fun job. Move toward the urban areas and cause chaos, spread some leaflets, and set IED's, EFP's, and stage rocket attacks on civilian and military targets. 1st of all, don't die."

"Roger sir. We'll seek our own extraction if we can't make the predetermined one." Spoke Sabo

"Of course, now boys, these Aracionans are masters of espionage, we're the masters of sabotage. We've been trained to fight people with better tech than us, we don't even have thermal sights, in fact, we just got Eotechs for our P90's! Does that change a damn thing?"

"Fuck no sir!" Chanted the squad in near unison

"Damn right, alright, the rest of us are going to tag along with the Archs, when it gets too tough, we stop and divert Japanese attention. That won't end well for us if we were to fight toe to toe, so me and Seargent First Class Talsman here will engage in a final stand type diversion so that you can escape. Once you've broken contact, infiltrate the civilian populace, inspire revolution, and make attacks alongside locals often and violently. Roger?"

"Roger sir, but why'd you let the Archs take charge like that?"

"Corporal, we're here to help them, that alone demands our respect. Let them take charge, if I don't like something, if I think it'll get us killed, we'll split off and assist otherwise. Now lift your lip and quit the bitchin'. Hooah?"

Sabo and Salv bounded towards town, and stopped in a woodline to overview the area. It was a housing devolpment, with mostly suburban homes. The populace was very pro-government, as Japanese flags hung everywhere. Sabo spoke...

They decided that their first objective would be a roadside EFP, activated by a cellphone initiated IED. After the initial explosion, they would launch RPG's simultaneously at two random houses and break contact instantly, they would retreat to behind the woodline and move east in a circle and do a similiar attack on the opposite side of the suburb.

The guards looked at each other nervously, as they always did when the ambassador from Sidh Ohn, Fadacail of the Ricataor tribe, paid a visit to Queen Quinn of Ganos Lao. "Why do they always have to bring those damn giant wolf things with them everywhere they go?" one muttered to himself as the 'giant wolf thing' in question eyed him as though he might be a potential meal. Dressed in a strange suit of dark brown-red leather with one of the brutal looking Ohn sabers on his hip, and who knew how many knives hidden on him, Fadacail nodded to the Queen; the greatest sign of respect he had ever shown her. The guards groaned inwardly. "Why does she tolerate this?" one whispered to another. "Weapons and vicious animals in her presence, and they won't even give a proper bow in her august presence!" "I don't know, but I heard its something about their culture or something. Ask me, those 'people' should never even been allowed into the country." "Huh. Animals more like."

Fadacail ignored the gossiping guards; stupid humans never thought they could be heard , but even at his advanced age, he could shoot them in the dark just from the sound of their breathing. Such idle chatter did not matter though. He was here to speak to the queen, not deal with fools.

"Queen Quinn of Ganos Lao, I bring word from Ohn Ardri Emresh. He says that what Mercenary Packs may be available for the possible coming conflict would be ill used in battles against the navies and air power massing against you and your allies, and so he cannot condone the official contracting of them for this. However, in the liberation of Maryginia, their abilities as guerrilla-cavalry should prove most useful, and he has given his approval for such contracts. Ten packs have already arrived, and more are on the way. I have been given authority to discuss terms of employment by those who have already arrived on their behalf. As usual, none of this 'cur-rens-ie' your kind seem so fond of; only raw goods will be accepted, and such supplies of meat and clean water as they can carry for the campaign should war arise."

One guard eyed the other nervously and whispered "More are coming?!"

A few minutes ago, we received a message from the The Pansentient Queendom of Ganos Lao.
We read it, read about the conflict they were going to be involved in. We thought about it. And finally decided to help.

We condemn the Empire of Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia and the Empire of Korean Pheonix and all their allies for their crimes, and for being enemies of Ganos Lao.
If you want to survive, and I mean your nation as a whole, surrender. Otherwise - prepare for your death. Not a swift, merciful death. A slow, painful one.

To all others involved into this conflict, those who are on 'our' side, against this scum trying to make the world even worse as it already is - we wish you good luck.
If you see our soldiers near yours - don't worry, we won't attack anyone who doesn't attack us, or who's not our designated target.
However - don't try to get near us. You may see things you don't want to see, things some may see as 'barbaric'. We don't care for the opinions of others - as long as they don't attack us.

The Consul made a gesture that silenced Minister Calafalas as he read the report on the meetings and that of the culminating conflict, "Hm, 'Divine Majesty' and 'Immortal Emperor', odd titles to give oneself, considering they profess to be a communist state." He looked at another report about the Koren Phoenix, "Another communist state with an emperor. I do not believe these men have ever read Marx."

"Double-think I would say, my Lord." The Minister for Popular Enlightenment said.

"Double-think indeed." Agreed Information Minister Veryatur Númesalquo.

"Late last night I saw an owl perched on my balcony he hooted thrice and not fly away when I looked at it." Lord Aeglar Silmerán, High Minister of Culture said. Of course everyone assembled knew the omen. Arda Tuluvans spoke of omens often and most understood hundreds of them, Aeglar knew them all, this particular one meant that great care should be taken, that the next few days would be ones of important decisions. Almost all the others made an odd gesture with their right hands, holding the ring and middle finger out and closing their pinkie and fore finger. It was a gesture to keep good omens around, or to ward bad omens away.

"We shall pray that the agressors have not yet abandoned reason and will allow diplomacy to continue. Lord ben-Adar," the Consul turned to the Deputy Executor, "I lay this burden on your shoulders, you shall represent the Empire in this affair." Turning back to the other.
