It's not that, really. It's cuz the continent is so small and has already two Empires. Besides, we need to have some medium-powers and small-powers in this world. Alas the History says there is a Chilean Republic, the Andes Federation and the Republic of Argentina. Also, edit the map and put Portugal on it, G-Tech agreed with it.

As the Kingdom of Spain was conquered by France, Símon Bolívar had begun a revolution in Venezuela, in 1810. The revolution spread through the entire Spanish America, inspired by Bolívar. In the Congress after the independence of the Spanish colonies, the regions disagreed with each other. Some, especially in the South, wanted to form republics, like the Japanese ones. But Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Central America and Mexico support Bolívar as King. The Kingdom of Granada was formed, with the territories composing it being the supporters of Bolívar. After the Congress, werer formed too the Republics of Chile, Argentina and the Andean Federation.

I must disagree with the formation of the Republic of Argentina...Argentina is my territory in south america and i didn't give it up.
