The Brimstone Pact

Official Declaration

In the time since the Brimstone Pact was formed, we have seen great change across the global landscape. Through our combined efforts, we no longer see massive inter-alliance wars that have raged without end, for we have broken up both by force and through other means, many of the prime instigators. And who were these instigators? Newly formed organizations with no purpose and no respect for the international community. With much of this rabble disbanded and scattered to the wind, we have ushered in the beginning of a new era of peace and prosperity.

However, we must work to maintain this new peace, and as such we in the Brimstone Pact will continue to remain vigilant. We are well aware that if we were to dissolve our great Pact and bask in the glory of our achievements that a new generation of rabble and lesser men would rise up and undo all that we have fought for. In order to prevent this from happening, we in the Brimstone Pact are instituting the following policy:

All newly formed alliances must submit an application, upon which time it will be reviewed by Pact officials and voted upon. If approved, a charter will be granted to the alliance after a short probationary period, and it will be allowed to operate. Failure to comply will result in swift military action and eradication of the offending party/parties.

All older, established alliances will of course be exempt, for by virtue of their existence over time they have shown they are not a threat to the world.

The following application will be completed by all prospective new alliances:

1. What is the name of your alliance?

2. What is the mission statement of your alliance?

3. Where does your alliance intend to operate?

4. What is the constitution/charter of your alliance?

5. What is the roster and intended size of your alliance?

This new doctrine will be strictly enforced without exception, starting immediately. All Brimstone Pact members are urged to remain in constant contact, and enforcement teams will be formed shortly to deal with any who resist. A database of all registered alliances will be kept on file and will be available for public view.

For all I care the brimstone pact is a group of sallys. ICly we can all just ignore you and you can't do anything about it. You can go crawl back to were you belong and stop messing with our freedoms.

OoC: Why would you ignore them so quickly? Generally a blanket ignore is a last ditch effort or something along those lines.

no new alliances is gonna fill out an app to be created. Your not a mod you have no Authority

wanna see who is actually gonna be in those enforcement teams.

LOL...thus sayeth the six-week-old newb who doesn't have a clue about the history of these old and revered nations, who've waged more war, celebrated more victories, and induced a high degree of mayhem into NS for over eight years.

OOC: What you are doing here is known as mixing IC with OOC, and that comes off as quite noobish. Unforunately, you fail to realize that ICly, the Brimstone Pact will apparently fight against anyone who fails to complete an application. ICly, it is quite an extreme stance, and it is a shame that you would rather whine about it OoCly rather than actually roleplaying this situation with your nation.

Your comment is pretty silly as well, since it is pretty much "LOL U R NOT MOD U HAZ NO AUTHORITIEZ!1!111!", and once again you fail to realize that "moderators" do not exist ICly, unless of course you are Hataria. With that said, ICly Automagfreek and his Pact are free to exercise any authority that they want, and whether or not they actually have the means to enforce such is irrelevant, because once agin; it is roleplaying. Automagfreek and the Brimstone Pact have released a statement declaring that all alliances will have to register with them, and failure to do so will result in said alliances being attacked. As a nation, you can always go ahead and condemn such actions, or you could go ahead and ignore the Brimstone Pact's statement ICly, and doing such might end in a Brimstone attack on your nation. In my opinion, the roleplays that would become out of both those scenarios are a lot more interesting than OOC whining about silly misconceptions that have been drawn because you fail to understand the concept of roleplaying itself and the seperation of IC and OOC.

That is why it is roleplayed, buddy. Will it work out? Will Automagfreek and Brimstone fail miserably? Will the Brimstone Pact Triumph over those who ignore their rule? Once again; this is why such is roleplayed. And hopefully International Incidents still has enough decent roleplayers who are actually to help build an interesting story around the Brimstone Pacts declaration.

I apologize for cluttering your thread, Automagfreek, if you do not feel this post is necessary feel free to ask a moderator to delete it.

OOC: I'm a bit...disappointed by all the noobishness that has been taking place both here and in the Brimstone thread. Salvarity, you're the second one that I've had to speak to about mixing IC and OOC, and I shouldn't have to educate you on this. Vasylkiv has already summed it up perfectly, so there's little more I need to add.

Is what we're doing audacious and a bit despicable? Of course, but this is what bad guys do. Lets face it, I.I. has been stagnant for a long time, with trends shifting back and forth between slavery and communism ad nauseum with little else. What Brimstone is attempting to do hasn't been done since the early days of NS, with a single monolithic entity attempting to bring the planet under its thumb. If you don't like it, then ICly stand up to it or ICly stay out of its way, but don't continue to hijack my threads with OOC protest because you can't keep the two separate.
