I do not see Arch surrendering American Space; so his navy won't be going anywhere.

By extension CSA will be unlikely to surrender his Space; so the Confederate Navy won't be going anywhere, either.

As such, The Armada is into North America whether the Dutch are crying to God or not.

In fact, it's just tempting us to shoot at the thing making the announcements.

As the OP said this is still open, you just need to pick a nation, alot of them are taken right now. In the second post is a list of open nations.

Solar Castile I am not telling him to leave American space I am asking him to move back to his side of the CSA-FSA border and stop shooting so we don't destroy both countries with wrecked ships falling from orbit. I am also asking CSA to pull back to his side of the border and stop shooting and asking you to do the same >_>

Also Castile I doubt your old galleon is going to have much of a chance against a modern Proto-dreadnought >_>

Lol except the Dutch tend to be underestimated just as much as anyone else But ya I would still prefer to avoid a massive naval battle because no matter who wins the masses of wrecks that are going to fall through atmosphere are going to devastate huge chunks of the eastern seaboard and screw over the environment for years to come

Hey I am not going to shoot first unless FSA sends back a message saying "Nuts" or something. So if we end up in conflict it will not be of my own doing.

Also to anyone planning on invading Dutch Brazil. During the years (bit more then a decade) since the Dutch-Portuguese war the Dutch have fortified the area (in expectation of using it as a jump off point to take the rest of Brazil) so its not going to be a push over at all (Fortresses, large standing military presence, etc.)

"Two-Pronged Assault" comes to mind, but no; Neuva Granada's governor has standing orders to reinforce Panama and make sure his borders remain intact under penalty of things worse than death; like being accused of heresy.

It would be hilarious but at the same time I think FSA is smart enough to not want 2000 ton metal hulks falling along his massively built up Eastern Seaboard.

Also in South America odds are I won't be advancing into Spanish territory (Might make an attempt to snag more of Brazil but probably not). I just want to take the Panama canal to avoid having to go around South America and seeing as I am sending some 100,000 soldiers with naval artillery and air support I think I will be able to secure it long enough to get the transports through. Then I will probably abandon it because holding it against the massive Spanish armies that are going to start arriving the day after my invasion hits is going to be like near impossible.

2 380 railguns= 4 regimental shields
4 260 railguns= 4 regimental shields
+ the regimental shields of the soldiers on the ground= appx. 5
city shields= Im guessing 5 or 6 is reasonable

so your pods are facing nearly twenty shields

They're more 'guidelines' than rules.

Of course, you CAN launch an orbital bombardment or launch a war in Europe, you just have to be prepared to accept the consequences. I would personally suggest not doing such.

Well, since Tiu seems to have disappeared and I've only just returned from being on holiday, I'd like to ask if either Spain (Solar Castile) or Germany (Hohenzollern Preussen) fancy a skirmish around one of their moons?

Right ha ha i will be moving my ships back the Eastern seaboard espeically the northern half is massively built uip with new york and washington D.C almost touching at this point! so i would not like bits and bobs falling on them the civillian casualties would be horrendeous.

Ive got enough civllians dying with CSA bombarding my infrastructure with his massive arty! the US navy will be pulling back in this case. As for the Panama ive already explained this to Ek it is one of the single most important Earth colonies i own, the canal still passes through a hell of alot of shipping and the revenue it generates in invaluable so ek knows it is going to be heavily guarded.

So if he wants it he will have to fight for it. it is also one of the only places i still hold a significant maritime presence.

I don't think that would be fair, because on Tethys, I have an impressive military presence because of the war against the Dutch. The only thing I could see is a full scale invasion over Tethy's farmland, but I don't think either of us want that.
