I was under the impression that while weak, they still had some colonial interests and thus some sort of navy. Even if overall they're weaker than the Four States, if they've got a superior navy that's all I want. I just want to be able to participate in affairs offworld. I could take Scotland instead, but I'm not sure if I want the responsibility of having to RP one of the four major powers.

Of course, I could also take Bhutan since it's on the list. Nobody could stop me then!

Well atm England has little to know navy 3-4 battleships and no more than about 90 ships Ireland and Scotland got most of that but when the Balance comes around i think England will be gaining back most of its navy again (its what im negoitating for) being a brit (although i play america) it pains me to see england in a sorry state. So me and Ekon have been talking about what we can do to balance things out.... whilst most of the balancing is coming to the NA and american nations England is getting a boost to.

Alright then, if the Netherlands approves I will switch to England when the new balancing comes. Even 90 ships is far more than the Four States.

Paris was mostly destroyed. It's up to you whether it was rebuilt or, if you like going the previous player's route, if France build a new capital on Venus.

I've done some calculations and the population of the Empire on Earth should be about 1.85 Billion, is that alright?

Did you times your 18th century population by 6.6?

(me thinks there needs to be a part in the GBG about getting the barebones of your nation set up.)

Um... I actually think a very similar RP was used by a previous French player as his introduction thread... I hope I haven't rained on your parade. To be fair it was a looong time ago, so long ago that of the current members I think only myself, Arch and Ekilion will remember it. V 2.0 I think.

, and I thought it was x12 for everything else, and x18 for Asian Territories.

@Old Tyrannia. Meh I have other idea's, particularly a character based RP where the nobles of the Venusian Court attempt to gain control of the Empire. Has anyone ever read a Song of Ice and Fire? Well they'll be like the Lannisters only IN SPACE!

I've been reading through this thread from the beginning , and I thought it was x12 for everything else, and x18 for Asian Territories.

Got an idea for an RP. Abyssinia leaving the Russian Coalition and joins either the RHL or the CA. Could get an RP out of each side trying to woo me to join their side. What do you guys think ??
