After discussing it with Osea over IRC, it appears that Osea is a pretty good fit for The Conglomerate ICly, and also is already on good terms with several of our members ICly. On that note, the Milogradian Federation votes aye on the Osea's application.

Nation Name: The Federal Socialist Republic of Osea
Leader: Premier Eric Ruhle
Type of Government: The type of government we have is that of a Federal Republic. The states have their own soviets and elect the Supreme Soviet. It should be noted that the Council of Minister, the executive office of our nation, does posses more power than is normal for a parliametary democracy.

Number of Civil Wars within the Past Three Decades: Osean Civil war, which brought the present Communist Government to Power
Military Activities: We are currently involved in military action against slavers
Strata of Command: The Premier of the FSRO serves as Commander in Chief of the Osean Military and, with the Minister of Defence, is the highest ranking civilian commanders of the Osean Military. Below them is the Osean General Staff, filled with the heads of each branch of the Osean Military, which is controlled by the Chieff of the General Staff.
Military Focus: The Osean Military focuses on naval power, combined with additional power projection in a large bomber force and we posses a large mechanised army to maintain the integrity of our own territory.

Economic Situation: The Osean economy is presently thriving, with a surplus in trade as expectable from an economy with a high priority for export of goods. It should be noted though that our trade in ships has suffered a decline which it is presently recovering from.

Additional Notes: Ambassador Guliyev is an experianced diplomat and done much to represent the will of the Osean government. He has worked in negotiations with a Conglomerate member before and handled the creation of a treaty agreement with that nation.

A leader of Sailsia has not died in office since 1911, of cancer.
Military Focus: The primary focus of the Federal Armed Forces of Sailsia is to protect and keep the peace of the Empire, which it does especially by deterring foreign threats via the Sailsia Air Force, a sub branch of the FAFS.

Economic Situation: Sailsia currently has an unemployment rate of 12%, the average length of unemployment is 38 days, and the average gross domestic product per capita is 28,083 universal standard dollars. The national GDP has been growing by .9% per year nationally. The Secretary of the Economy has rated the Sailsian economy at a C-, which is up from a rating of a D+ given five year prior in 2005.
