What would things have been like if every security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive? Or if during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand? The Organs would quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!

Monfrox wrote:"You can have him after I'm done with him." Arike said with a smirk. She looked over to Kiden who was getting up. "Fuck! My back!" he groaned. 'How about we got to the barracks, and this time," she put her hand in his cheek and stroked it. "I'll be gentile." "Really?" Kiden asked with an excited tone. "Yes." she said as she gave him a kiss. She turned back to the group. "Don't think this means that I still won't beat your asses into the dirt." she said with a sadistic smile.

Gastovsky looked at the lovebirds and asked. "who the fuck was that girl?"

Arike slapped them both upside their heads. "And don't you forget it!" She said. "Now if you'll excuse us..." she looked over to Kiden, who, in the light, had a number of scratch marks on his face. "Shall we?" she asked. "I would be a dick if I said no." he responded. The went back to the hind, got dressed, then walked out to the barracks, holding each other on the way. Arike looked back to Iriqios, And bared her teeth in a very sadistic smile. Then turned back to Kiden, who didn't notice a thing.

He watched them walk away, looking around after they'd disappeared into the barracks. "I think I'd rather sleep in the same bed as an infected guy than be on the same base with her.."

He walked away from the group, towards were Private Reynolds sat with the satellite phone, as the private handed it over. "It's the lieutenant colonel, he's giving a few details on the operation." "Alright, give it to me."

The lieutenant colonel spoke to him in their native tounge, and he began to do the same. "Glaubst du, wir haben das personal, um dies zu ziehen?" The sergeant responded. "Ja. Sie glaube, wir haben mehr als genug."

Igor: Sir, Jessika is with the commandos heading this way and-

Gastovsky: Igor, your just in time, here take this camera and take a photo of us"
