Kiden put his fingers on his neck and felt a pulse. "Alright, get him in the back!" he said to Arike. She grabbed him and laid him down onto the back seat. "We're heading back to the airfield now, you're going to be fine, just stay with me!" she said to him.

A sharp stab of pain in his shoulder near the filled wound caused him to go into shock again, becoming limp and closing his eyes, his fingers still twitching slightly.

She ripped out the bloody field dressing as his wound started to heal. "I got him! GO!" Arike shouted to Kiden. Bullets started to whip past the Humvee. "ALRIGHT YOU KGB FUCKS!
