Brief Background of Your Nation:
In 1602, the English discovered the Belkanlands, a region of the middle east populated by a large group of Pacific tribals. Fiercely territorial, the natives resisted colonization starting a bloody war. The English eventually suppressed the natives and colonized the Belkanlands dividing it into 6 territories, each ruled by English nobles. Many of the natives were relocated to the island of Qatar, some were kept as slaves and the few who managed to avoid either of the former fates were treated as second class citizens.
In 1820 Native Belkan rebels coordinated bloody rebellion in each of the 6 colonies which began an 8 year war. in 1828 the Belkan Colonies won their independence. Each former colony plus Qatar became independent nations. In 1876, with the 7 Belkan nations in ravaged by famine, poverty and economic meltdown, The Confederacy of Belkan Nations was founded, unifying the region under one flag. In 1937 a group of workers led by Christopher McHenry created The Belkan Liberation Front, an insurgent group determined to overthrow the corrupt oppressive government of the Confederacy. After a 20 Year Civil War, the BLF overthrew the Confederate government creating the United Socialist States of the Belkanlands.

Even though Rooiland is small, the raw population is on the rise, because of economic development, the rise of population means that goverment branches such as the hospitals fire and police departments,are expecting an increase in their spending budget, aswell as the Rooiland Armed Forces, even though one of the smallest armies in the world today, they are equipped with the best of the best, ranging from Leopard 2A6 Tanks AH Apaches F35's and state of the art battle ships, in order to maintain the peace and safety of the Rooiland citizens the military budget is also expected to rise...
Media and television are broadcasted by private and goverment owned stations, censurs are kept at the minimun but take the age of childeren very well in account, largest broadcasters are ROOI1 ROOI2 ROOI3 RTV3 RTV5 RTV6 and RTV8,
Rooiland has a large variaty of populair sports ranging from soccer, American football, to martial arts, especially the Silat styles have grown a large gathering over the last couple of years, and many Rooilanders perform nothing less then outstanding in international Martial Arts tournaments

Is it not difficult to negotiate with a nation that doesn't exist? Well I guess if you have your close ally RPing the guy you want to jion you, nearly doubling your total land, I guess it works out, since it is almost guarenteed "joining of the Union."
