[Charzak]

Today 600,000 soldiers and 1,000,000 civilians rose to the call of a rebel leader only known as The Savior. Already under his command are 200,000 rebels. The rebellion has arisen due to the fact that "....[Charzak] should span the globe as all others are inferior...". The rebels, known as the Imperialist Core, seek to take control of the U.S.C. and create a global Empire exterminating the "inferiors". The rebels have claimed most of southern Charzak and are pushing towards the capital of Krayt. Our security forces were caught unprepared and the military is slowly responding. The Supreme Leader today asks the international community to help put down this rebellion.

The President looks at the Imperialist Core. They were a threat to the people of the Republic. He signed a Declaration of War on the Imperialist Core stating that "We can not allow the Imperialist Core to threathen the freedom of the Republic" and also declares that "if the Imperialist wins, we will be going a full scale war to save the Republic."

The President orders the creation of the Great Army. The Great Army will first consist of 200k professionally seasonal trained soldiers. Reinforcement will be given if necessary. The Great Army was then deploy to Allied Territory. The objective of the Great Army was to push the Imperialist Core out of continent. Exhausted, the President decided to go to bed. Tomorrow, his job is to speak with Generals about war plans. The Great Army deployment was just the beginning.

[Charzak]

Heavy fighting in the French and German provinces have pushed the Loyalist armies back into Brussels and Berlin. Krayt which is located in the Swedish province may come under attack in the next two months unless reinforcements arrive to reinforce the Loyalist armies.

As the Overlord of Enzo Turga studied the board he found only one answer to this rebellion. As he announced his small army would side against the rebels he pressed down on the launch button. Five EMP Missiles (shor circuit all electrical devices in there range) hit various locations throughout the rebel's territory. Although it was to early to tell how many car batteries, computers controlling missiles and jets, and other electronic devices he disabled, he knew the damage was extencive and the rebels were probably sent back into the 1800s.

[Charzak]

Sadly, the rebels were not very effected by the EMP missiles. As most of the equipment they use is Charzak Military tech which is EMP shielded most of thier tech was not affected.

Thousands of armed rebels moved towards Brussels the capital of the Belgian province. The Loyalist forces had no where to go and hoped help would arrive soon.

The President looks deeply in the region of France and German. The Great Army won't arrived until tomorrow morning. He prays that the loyalist army holds the region well. If not, the only way to reclaim the region is an invasion in the east or invasion by sea.

[Charzak]

The rebels set up camp just outside of Brussels. Bombers and fighters strafed the camp and the rbel's screams lasted through the night. 12,000 rebels attacked the city in what was determined to be a sucide mission to inspire others to join them. However, the 150,000 troops in the city slaughtered the rebels taking 200 has prisoners. Only 1,020 Loyalist troops were killed. The remaining troops began moving back to retake Paris.

With his mind conflicted, President Karvounis absently ran his fingers across the polished mahogany of his executive desk. While he was staunchly opposed the cost a war would wage on his country, it had become painfully apparent that the forces of the "Savior" in the Charzak conflict would become a very dangerous force should the Loyalist forces be overwhelmed. With the recent victory in Brussels by the Loyalists, Nicholas knew that action was required to ensure that the tide of momentum would stay with the Loyalists.

As the President of New Azura, Nicholas Karvounis ordered an envoy of delegates to the capital city of Charzak, Krayt, with orders to help broker a seventy-two hour cease-fire and to bring both sides to the peace tables, ostensibly for the purposes of bringing the fighting to a close before more lives were lost. However, in two secret communiques, President Karvounis assured the leader of Charzak that New Azura would offer her military assistance should the leaders of Charzak ask for it.

In the second communique, President Karvounis contacted Consul General Thomas C. DeWitt, Chief of Staff of the Federal Armed Forces of New Azura to begin preparations for mobilizing the Overseas Fleet of the Federal Navy for a blockade of the Rebel-controlled Southern ports, should Charzak request Azuran intervention.

The General of the Great Army was declared. The Great Army has arrived in the Netherlands providence.

General Slade was the new leader of this vass army. His goal was to end the war quickly and effectively. His plan is simple; tanks. The infantry must capture Hamburg and cities along the Elbe River, as a result controling access points to Berlin. Tanks than roll across the river and commene battle against the Imperialist Army. As a result, a tactical victory in the providence of Northern Germany.

To save Belgium and France, the control of the Rhine River was a necessity. Arnheim, Duisburg, Dusseldorf, Koln, and Bonn were the 5 cities east of the Rhine River that were needed to be control. Massive infantry, tanks, and artillery will roll through the region. The Imperialist will be forced to retreat from Northern France and Belgium.

General Slade orders more deployment of infantry, artillery and tanks to be landed in the Netherlands in the following days. The General divides his massive army. It will be divided into 2 each 100k infantry though it will rised as more reinfocements arrive. The 2 division will go on their separate campaigns. However, their bigger objective was to find a way to push the Imperialist to the Italian Peninsula.

[Charzak]

The Loyalist Army in France attacked the city of Lille. Rebel soldiers were able to hold their line dispite repeated attempts to invade the city. Heavy losses on both sides were reported. The Loyalist Army was forced back into the Belgian province to await reinforcments from the Allied Great Army.

Meanwhile, a rebel force of 40,000 moved out of Istanbul and moved through and taking the Bulgarian and Romanian provinces with no resistance as the Loyalist forces were tied up in the North.

The Supreme Leader today called upon the support of New Azura to provide military aid. The "Savior" can not be reasoned with and has killed any diplomats that have tried to find him.

Loyalist forces were able to break out of Berlin and retake Northern Germany and the Czech province. Losses are reported that over 67,900 Loyalist troops were killed. Rebel presence in northern Germany and the Czech province was completley eliminated with rebel losses close to 120,000.

He signed the document stating that the Theocracy of RightWIngChristians will go to war against the Rebels. A 905 Man force will be arriving on the ground to help support the Loyalists. The "1st and Only for Now Heavy Cavalry" along with 5 A-10 II planes.

"Sir, we've received word from our allies in the Loyalist Army of Charzak. Our ambassadors to the rebel camps are dead.

The President of New Azura slumped in his chair, trying to control the bristling anger that had begun to swell inside him. Consul General DeWitt was standing by his desk, as was customary in the past few days, to offer his official report. Nicholas was grateful to have him by his side through this; he had been a trusted friend for several years. "What's the word, General?"

"Charzak has officially requested our military assistance, and I don't think we can afford to wait for very long. The Loyalists were turned away at Lille by the Rebels, and Colonel Adrian Hahn of the S.R.S. 409th Reconnaissance Support Regiment reports that an entire Rebel Army group has moved out of Istanbul and has occupied the Bulgarian and Romanian Provinces without incident. Loyalist forces are tied up in the north, according to the reports from the Loyalist camps."

President Karvounis took in the report from his Consul General, weighing his options carefully as he did so. With a deep breath, he rose from his desk and walked around the corner, moving to stand in front of DeWitt. "General, I order you to enact Contingency Plan Epsilon. Send out the orders to the Overseas Fleet to prepare to sail for the territorial waters of Charzak. What's your status on these orders?"

"I'll carry them out immediately sir. I have two Battle Groups ready to sail - 1,983 Ships in Total - with the 1st Army Corps of General Williams and the 2nd Army Corps of General Johnson, 1,000,000 troops in total. I've also ordered the activation of General Page's 2nd Reconnaissance Envoy Division and General Hunter's XIV Emissary Brigade from S.R.S. Camp Delta, 15,000 troops in all. We've got this pegged as Operation Pegasus of the Azuran Expeditionary Forces. I've notified the regional commanders of the Provincial Guards to mobilize their reservists, and the remaining seven army corps will be recalled to active duty, pending the outcome of the Oseato Conflict."

The President nodded with delight, then responded, "I want the entire Overseas Fleet fueled and ready to sail, in addition to our three Homeland Fleets in case we have to deploy to Oseato as well. Your official orders will be received momentarily, as soon as I confirm them with Charzak. That'll be all, General."

"The Military wont let you down, sir!" General DeWitt saluted his old friend, waiting long enough for the President to respond before hurrying out of the office. President Karvounis watched him leave for a second, then quickly returned to his desk. He had prepared a statement for the Loyalist Army Commanders of Charzak offering New Azura's naval assistance. But with the deaths of their Ambassadors, the game had changed. A dangerous and threatening force had willfully attacked Azuran citizens without provocation. The time for action had come...

In response to your request for military assistance of 10th August, the Federal Republic of New Azura will answer you request immediately. An emergency session of Parliament has been convened this day, for the purposes of approving Assistance Package 11259A - Contingency Plan Epsilon - in response to the kidnapping and murdering of seven official delegates to the Charzak Rebel Camps by the conventional Rebel Forces. Such an act without provocation has required this response, and is our sole reason for sending our troops to your soil.
In just under one hour, two Battle Groups from our Overseas Fleet will move into position around the Southern ports of the Rebel-controlled areas and initiate a strict blockade on all materiel trying to enter. In addition, I've ordered my two best Army Corps, commanded by General Steven A. Williams and General Dwayne Johnson - 1,000,000 Troops in All - to assist you, with an additional 15,000 troops from our Selective Reconnaissance Corps. At this time, I cannot spare any additional vessels or troops, pending the resolution of the Volksluft Conflict in Oseato. I assure you, however, that our forces will be more than adequate to reclaim control over your realm. The Air Craft Carrier FAV Daniel Johnston ACC-301, the flagship of the entire fleet, will house the commander of the Azuran Expeditionary Forces, Consul General Thomas C. DeWitt. He'll be coordinating attacks with you and your allies from the Blockade.
On a personal note, I wanted to convey my sentiments regarding the murder of our ambassadors by the Rebel Forces of Charzak. Bear in mind that while we do not hold you personally responsible for this outrage, it is our sole reason for sending ground forces into your country. If we feel that our forces are being pushed forward into unnecessary conflicts to achieve political agendas, we shall reserve the right to withdraw our forces. I cannot stress this enough. Envoy's Log, Battle Date 0001, aboard the Air Craft Carrier Daniel Johnston. Deputy Minister Thómas L. Mascareñas reporting.
I've been assigned to the Daniel Johnston for the foreseeable future, pending the resolution to the Civil War in Charzak. I've been asked to maintain a running log for posterity regarding the progress of the Azuran Expeditionary Force during Operation Pegasus, circa the approval by Parliament of Assistance Package 11259A - Contingency Plan Epsilon to the Loyalist Forces of Charzak. For posterity, it shall be noted henceforth that all combat operations are justified by the murder of seven government officials by the conventional Rebel Forces of Charzak.
My official role during Operation Pegasus will be to act as the Political Liaison to Consul General Thomas C. DeWitt. In reality, I'll be here simply as an observer, to record the news as it comes in to us here on the flagship. As of 1500 Hours on 11 August, two Battle Groups from the Overseas Fleet have met the Daniel Johnston and her escort convoy: the FAV Alvin McCullough CR-101, a Light Cruiser, and two battleships from the Stevensburg Class - the Battleship Valle Crucis BB-702 and the pathfinder of the class itself, the Battleship Stevensburg BB-701. The four ships from the Western Fleet of the Federal Navy have joined an Armada that spans nearly half of the Overseas Fleet, close to 2,000 vessels total. Both Battle Groups contain their Combat Flotillas and their Logistical Support Flotillas, providing complete tactical capabilities in the territorial waters of Charzak. The two Battle Groups from the Overseas Fleet are Battle Group Samoa, sailing out of Naval Station Jaycee and Naval Station Toynbee in Azuran Samoa, 992 ships in all, and Battle Group Puhau, sailing out of Naval Station Ga'Xan and Naval Station Liu Na in Puhau, 991 ships in all. In addition, ten additional troop ships have been sent to the rendezvous point straight out of dry dock at Naval Station Miramar-Molyneux to assist in offshore combat maneuvers during the landings in Charzak.
Sailing with us right now are two Army Corps, the 1st Army Corps under the command of General Steven A. Williams, 550,000 Strength, and the 2nd Army Corps under the command of General Dwayne Johnson, 450,000 Strength. Combined with this, General Joseph Page's 2nd Reconnaissance Envoy Division, 10,000 Strength and Director General Isaiah Hunter's XIV Emissary Brigade, 5,000 Strength will represent the Selective Reconnaissance Corps, and will serve to gather intelligence and conduct "Black Ops" for the Allied Cause. To facilitate maximum efficiency, five additional Amphibious Transport Docks from the Northern Fleet of the Federal Republic and two Dock Landing Ships from Battle Group Montemayor out of Naval Station Esteves in the Overseas Fleet of the Federal Navy have been transferred to the A.E.F. pending the conclusion of the war.
It will take several hours before we can begin operational maneuvers. If the war even lasts long enough, I'm sure the Air Force will be brought in once an inland base of operations can be established. Until then, the A.E.F. Fleet will diverge into two parts: the main body will move into position to take up the blockade of Rebel-controlled port cities, while the Troop Ships and their Logistical Supply Fleet complements will begin making their insertion at an undisclosed location. Tactical arrangements have yet to be made between A.E.F. Fleet Command and the delegates from the Loyalist Forces of Charzak, but I'm sure they'll come in due time.

In times, I wonder if we can achieve this operations. The operations are risky. Casualty is high. Then again, this is what you get when you're fighting wars. We have managed to capture the cities across the Rhine with no resistence as the Imperialist Army was in France. Within hours, tanks and artillery reinforcements that landed yesterday had managed to be in Belgium and France. We'll commenme invasion of Northern France within hours. We pray we get over with this.

The rebel troops stationed in Romania and eastern provinces have moved to join the troops in France putting rebel numbers well over 450,000. Loyalist troops are attempting to join with Allied forces to launch an effective counter-assault.

The Supreme Leader has sent a message to all parties involved requesting a meeting in Krayt to plan a campaign to end the war.

The Azuran Expeditionary Forces have arrived in the territorial waters of Charzak, and have assumed our Naval Blockade of Rebel-controlled ports. I will make the trip by armored helicopter to the summit with a detachment of 10,000 troops. The remaining body of my two Army Corps will await further instruction. Until then, I await further communications with you.

Intelligence reported that the Imperialist Army, size of 450,000 are massing at France. General Slade looks. He wonders, 450,000 troops? That nearly the whole army of the Imperialist Core (compare to the 650,000 soldiers in the beginning). He looks and wonders why the entire Imperialist Army is station at France. Are they protecting something, perhaps the Savior? He looks for possible territory that he could have been in. The Italian Peninsula, the Balkan Peninsula, the Anatolia Peninsula were possible territory.

There were some choices. After all, the 250k infantry soldiers (not including the loyalist army) was the body of the Western Grande Armee. Supported by the loyalist army and our reinforced tanks, they could still have a chance against the massive Imperialist Army in France. In case they need reinforcement, he could just pull the Eastern Grande Armee in, as Berlin was already captured by the Loyalist Army when the Eastern forces arrived.

He looks in curiousity. The Blockade set by New Azura would take place South of the Imperialist Core as it was the only sea that borders it. The blockade could severely hurt the Imperialist Economy. Also, New Azura has troops ready for an invasion. WIth little or none troops to defend the south, the Imperialist Core would have to conscript civilians or withdraw some troops from France providence.

General Slade decided to make his move. He orders the Western Grande Armee to wait for the Loyalist Army, then commence attack on France. The Eastern Grande Armee was to leave Germany and head towards Austrian and Hungarian providence and guard those providences until further notice. After reviewing his strategic analysis, he types a report to President Stridex as he was heading to Kyayt, capital of the Loyalist, to discuss campaigns to end the war.

[The Crocodilians]

President Andrew Conner and his (pregnant) wife Joan were taking a stroll in Capitol Park. Suddenly, a government official ran towards them shouting, "Mr. President! Mr. President!", Conner asked, "What is it, Jones?", the official said, "There's a major Civil War going on in Charzak!". Conner asked, "Who's involved?", the official replied, "Government Forces and their allies against rebels, a faction called 'The Imperialist Core', led by someone called 'The Savior', they are dedicated to creating a world-wide empire and to the eradication of those dubbed, 'Inferiors'.". The President stood there for a while thinking, he knew that if these rebels get their way, he, his wife, and their unborn children would become slaves at the hand of 'The Savior' and his minions. He then asked the official for more information regarding The Core, the official replied, "Their forces are attempting to take Krayt, the capitol.". Conner just stood there, thinking, as the youngest President in Crocodilian History, this was his first test and he knew what to do.

He stormed off to the Presidential Estate, the Croco House, with his wife and the official in tow. When he got to his office, Conner snatched his phone and called Vice President Eddy Smith, and then Secretary of Defense Robert Georgetown, and then Field Marshal Fredrick Thompson. He told them all, "Call Congress, tell them to debate this so they can decide whether or not we go to war!". They did so, and the members of Croco Congress debated the issue of war for 4 hours, finally they came to a conclusion, they officially approved the President's Declaration of War. and so the Crocodilian race was at war with The Imperialist Core, some 50,000 troops and 500 vehicles and 114 planes and 100 helicopters were put onto 46 transports escorted by 50 warships and embarked for Charzak

To the Delegates of the Loyalist Forces of Charzak:
At 0230 Hours on 13 August, the conventional forces of the Azuran Expeditionary Forces began the preliminary bombing of Rebel-controlled targets in Charzak. Fifteen targets were selected, and included the following:

Genova, Italy
Naples, Italy
Palermo, Italy
Rome, Italy
Athens, Greece

These targets were chosen to help wear down the Imperialist Core on its underbelly; where our military strategists view them at their weakest. Squadrons of B-2 Spectra Stealth Bombers equipped with laser-guided bombs will be making round-the-clock runs on the strategic assets of the Rebels, with an attempt to preserve Civilian life and property to the best of our abilities. Furthermore, squadrons of X-7 Hellfire VTOLs and GS-450 Trinity Gunships have begun strafing Rebel positions along their coastal defenses, whilst our batteries on all fourteen cruisers and fourteen battleships have also opened up on the Rebel ports, though their effectiveness is limited by my intent to keep them far enough away from the on-shore guns of the Rebels. At best, they can only reach up to a mile in-land. Within thirty minutes, my top S.R.S. Corps Division will be making a Reconnaissance run over the target sites to gather intelligence. At the present time, there's no way to know how badly we've hurt them yet, but you can expect sizable losses inflicted on the Imperialist Core's coastal defenses. My best offensive fighters, gunships and bombers are flying off the decks of my air craft carriers as we speak.
Within the next eight hours, the Azuran Invasion of Rebel-Controlled Charzak will begin. For security reasons, we obviously cannot confirm or deny the location of our landing site in a wired telegram. Rest assured, we are carrying out our strategic bombing runs around the clock. If the Imperialist Core is receiving our wires, then at least they'll be reinforcing their Southern ports over night. I'm prepared to send 10 Divisions of the 1st Army Corps on shore tomorrow in the Invasion, with 6 Divisions held in reserve. The 2nd Army Corps of General Johnson, 450,000 troops in strength will now be escorting me and a detachment from the S.R.S. Corps to Krayt, while the A.E.F. Naval Fleet continues its blockade and bombardment of Rebel ports. If you wish to circumvent these plans, you must contact me before 1030 Hours on 13 August. After that, my orders cannot be rescinded!

General Joseph Page's S.R.S. 2nd Reconnaissance Envoy Division has just sent me the first batch of Progress Reports from our bombardment of the Rebel-controlled ports. As of 0320, Azuran forces estimate that 2,560 Rebel Troops have been killed in Palermo, Italy with an additional 5,000 wounded. We estimate nearly 4,000 enemy combatants have been killed in the bombing runs over the Italian Peninsula proper, with heavy Rebel losses being reported in the Southern sectors. It will take some time before our EW-10 ASTRA (Air Surveillance and Tactical Reconnaissance Aircraft) can make a thorough sweep throughout the bombing zones. We would request a confirmation of our S.R.S. Corps Progress Report from Loyalist Surveillance, if possible. Keep in mind, these figures will rise throughout the night! And I cannot stress this last point enough: by 1030 Hours, I must have a Go/No-Go for the Invasion!

Invasion of rebel territory is not needed. We have reports that the "Savior" is in Paris. All forces converge on Paris. The rebels have forseen this and have moved all troops to defend Paris (780,000). Attacks on Paris should begin as soon as possible.

160,000 Loyalist troops and 3,000 Loyalist tanks merged with the Allied forces ready for the assault on Paris.
