1. Actually the city is a former Elven outpost currently occupied by Orc/Goblin armies. The High King is using this as a way to sort of revitalize Elvish pride and rebuild the Elves' reputation with men by rebuilding their showcase city. And killing off a center of Orc raids into Europe as well.

I don't mind you getting involved in the RP, but it should be clear that you can't just teleport 50,000 men to the Middle East. It takes quite a while to sail around the continent, not to mention the fact that the Straits of Gibraltar are currently interdicted.

I'm also not sure how Elves would be considered oppressors of the free world, since they've mostly kept to themselves for the last fifteen hundred years.

I also don't see your typical Goblin doing too well with the whole concept of 'drilling' and marching in lines. They're sort of anarchic in nature and don't like taking orders. Orcs, maybe, but they're just as likely to eat your envoys as bother to listen to them.

sure i was worried about my post an dwas in the process of deleting it as i might not get involved and did feel farfetched, but on the comment of the elves. My people have a hatred towards them and will use any excuse as to eradicate them in any manner of ways. So im sorry for any inconveniance. Then again I might figure out away to get involved navaly though I will post on how they get there.

Very little in the Med, but the Elvish navy is one of the strongest forces in the Indian Ocean and dominates the Persian Gulf completely.

The only minor thing is that no merchants would have reported the sound of hammers, since that sort of sound generally doesn't carry for 100+ miles. Humans aren't allowed anywhere near Bar min Duinath. Rumor might have made it to Prinnia via traders in the Med talking to traders in Southern Europe who talk to traders in Northern Europe, but the details of the Elvish preparations will be rather vague. You'll know that there's an Elvish army going somewhere, but there's no way to tell where until they're actually there. And remember, this is 1850. You BARELY have telegraphs. News is going to take a long time to get anywhere.

I'm feeling the love. Three people want my land and my people as slaves. This is enough reason to celebrate. Just join the Circle in the Sand. Gnolls don't play well with others, so making them Christians won't work out. They also like blood more than gold, so they won't be too good of traders. However, they are strong, and would make good slaves. I doubt you can buy them, so you conquer them and make them work for no pay!

You could send a force to assist us. Although if he tries to force the Persian Gulf, it will probably go badly for his fleet. But it might be fun to have a few of your officers along as observers. Just make sure to write first. Some random humans showing up in a military camp would probably not go over well.
