The Sleeping Beast has Awoken
In a startling revelation, Lord Damien Dreadfire The Second of the Gothic Empire of Automagfreek has anounced that the Freekish Empire has awoken form it's slumber in an announcement to the world in one sentence that they will be taking their place back and the member states of the Brimstone Pact will be there beside him. As a member of the slumbering Brimstone Pact, Supreme Emperor Larry Williams has gone on record stating that the Shazbotdom Empire will stand beside her allies within the Brimstone Pact.

And the World Shall Tremble
The Freekish Empire has been known in it's past for battle methods that would leave even the most battle hardened armies tremble. With the Gothic Nations reaching 29 total within their Region, the legions that can be called in by The Freekish Empire number in the tens of millions if needed. The only thing up in the air is the dormant membership of the Brimstone Pact as only a couple of the members from the organization before it's hiatus stating that they will continue to stand with the Gothic Empire of Automagfreek.
What of the members that are still in the international scene but have not stated their support? Will they come out of the woodwork and stand next to those that have pledged their support, or will they continue to stand idly by on the sidelines and watch the pact try to bring stability to the world. When asked this very question, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs addressed the question by stating, "We hope that our Brimstone Brothers and Sisters come back to us and pledge their support to the Pact in these trying times. Only together will we be strong enough to assist in the Pact in our ultimate goal of stabilizing the International Community to where it was fifteen years ago."

Who Shall Speak for the Empire?
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently undergoing questioning and voting throughout it's ranks of Ambassadors to see who will be the voice for the Empire to the Brimstone Pact. Before the Hiatus the Ambassador was Mr. Phillip Z. Gangerton, who has been on medical leave for an injury sustained in a wake-boarding accident off the coast of Shazbotdom Miroxia nearly 6 months ago. A temporary Ambassador might be put in place until Mr. Gangerton is well enough to take over his position, but there is no direct word from the Ministry as of print time.

PRESS RELEASE:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has placed Mr. Stephan T. Voonahav as the Temporary Ambassador to the Brimstone Pact while Mr. Phillip Z. Gangerton finished up his rehabilitation from an accident several months ago.
